The place is small but with a nice vibe to it. The staff is extremely polite and helpful! And, the food is very good, too. I had the best octopus there as part of their Christmas Eve set menu. They also have a rooftop bar with an amazing view of the city.

It was a mixed experience for me. Generally, I enjoy the concept of upscale establishments that offer excellent service, a pleasant view, and a great overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, these kinds of restaurants often lack a crucial element - great food. It may sound strange, but it's true: chefs often overcomplicate dishes, and this complexity doesn't enhance the flavor or make the meal enjoyable. Suba is a prime example of this overcomplication syndrome. The restaurant excels in every aspect except for the food itself. I opted for the chef's surprise menu, but none of the dishes were enjoyable. Some were just okay, some were average, and one (a dessert) was completely inedible, resembling a tasteless sponge. The lamb dish was overly salty and dry. It's astonishing how food can lose its flavor when it's overly complicated. I might recommend visiting Suba for a luxurious experience on a special occasion, but definitely not for the purpose of enjoying the food and exploring new flavors.

Saying this is a good restaurant is like saying a Ferrari is a nice car. Food is innovative, esp. the Chef's surprise menu (Japanese word is Omakase). The wine pairing was exquisite, thanks to the sommelier who spent the time explaining what each wine is/where it is from. The dessert was complex layers of chocolates (white chocolate egg with a creamy center). Our dinner started at sunset and ended in 3 hours, so we got to see the gorgeous view of the bridge and the river front in different lights. If it's not too cold, suggest the open deck on the roof instead of sitting inside.

Sublime experience. We went for the chef’s tasting and wine pairing, and ended up stuffed. I could not finish my dessert I know it tasted good. Service was great from the moment we checked in at the hotel lobby. There’s a rooftop upstairs with very nice 360 degrees views. This was the perfect closure to our stay in Lisboa.

Just pay attention to the wine, it happened that the sommelier didn't warn that there was only one bottle available when we ordered it... he should have warned in my opinion... otherwise everything was top notch as usual. The star is almost there 🌟 come on suba

Suba is an amazing restaurant with outstanding view. However, one thing I would like to point out is I can’t find the focus of the dishes. All the sauces and favours take away the actual taste of the food. Love the service and everything else!

Amazing food. The service was excellent and all dishes full o surprise. They explain every dishes to you. The king crab starter was the highlight of the dinner. The only thing it could be improved is that I found the food were slightly too salty for me. But in general very value for money and definitely recommend to the others

Nuno and Ricardo were the best servers I've had the pleasure of meeting. We could not have thanked them enough, the food was very tasty and delightfully presented, a small error was made regarding the menu but was very quickly rectified by them. Special thanks to Nuno who would not let my wine glass be empty! Thank you so much.

We went for dinner on the last night of our stay in Lisbon, we could have chosen any 🌟 Michelin star but we wanted to give Suba a chance and see if it deserves it in the future. The palace is very beautiful with impressive views but at night you cannot see them from the Restaurant due to the strong light inside. We ordered the pairing with 100% Portuguese wines which did not surprise us and which costs more than the menu itself, which did not surprise us either. The service and attention is not what was expected for the final amount of the bill 😱, €650/2 people. Even the starters on the menu don't start with the pairing, so you have to eat the appetizers with water or order something else, which you pay separately, in addition to the €150 for the pairing for each diner 😳 Being lactose intolerant, they changed some dishes for others that are not of the same standard as those on the Caminhos menu, the one we had ordered. It must be said that it was Saturday night and there were only 2 tables, there was little atmosphere. We pay more than any Rte. with a star ⭐️ when it is very far from obtaining it, in my humble opinion, of course!, a shame because those details are what make it possible

Superb experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and most importantly the food is divine! We had a food tasting menu with wine pairing which was great and we left the restaurant extremely happy! This is a must visit… A night to remeber and to repeat.

We went there for my birthday last year, we picked it from the Michelin guide and it was absolutely fantastic! Miguel is the best sommelier I've ever met, he's incredibly knowledgeable and is promised for a great future. Antonio's service was also impeccable and made us feel right at home. Leda and Thiao were also very helpful and really good at their food. Regarding the food, the chef is amazing and accommodated for my dietary requirements like a charm, especially for the apple-not-apple as starter. I 100% recommend this place and will come back next time we're in Lisbon.

Located in a privileged place with views over the river, the restaurant is on the 7th floor of a boutique hotel. The staff was very kind and attentive (incl to food restrictions). The food was delicious, with a lot of flavour and colour. The service was very fast between moments. A must go in Lisbon!

Service was incredible here. I have a memory of a pea but whatever Tuna dish here they served was absolutely mind blowing. Love the stories behind the food and the entire journey. Not to mention it's hard to go wrong with the views here seeing glowing Lisbon Glowing Jesus , the water, and the bridge.

This was a beautiful food experience. Coming from New York City I have had a lot of wonderful food in my lifetime. The combination or textures and flavors, the presentation of the food, and the quality service was sublime. Looking forward to dining with them again on my next trip to Lisbon.

Option was the Caminhos tasting menu. Very good. So the dishes on the menu based on seafood are divine. Being able to intensely enhance the flavors is not easy, and it was fully achieved. We really liked the service, which was at the right pace. This restaurant is a good example that we cannot base it solely on lists and a jury's assessments, as it is clearly ahead of others that were better rated on these lists that supposedly reward the best. Of course, lists are important for drawing attention to restaurants, but they fail, sometimes badly.

Friendliness and efficiency of service at all levels. I am immensely pleased to discover each dish and the diversity of flavors contained in each of them. Everything in perfect harmony, a meal to remember with good memories. A less pleasant point is the 10% tip suggestion.

We came here for the view in June of 2023 - we found the scale very nice - not crowded a number of tables but overall quiet and focused. The meals and service was impressive and very unique. It was expensive but did not give one the impression of being ripped off, I left content - the views, the genuine kindness and attentiveness in service, the unique menu items which looked unusual but tasted incredible somehow all seemed worth it - would highly recommend but not for the budget conscious.

I had the pleasure of dining at Suba, an upscale Portuguese restaurant, and opted for the chef's tasting menu. The experience was nothing short of delightful. The dishes were exquisitely delicious, each one showcasing a wonderful blend of flavors and textures that highlighted the chef's mastery. The attentive service added to the enjoyment, making us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The ambience of the restaurant was top-notch, creating a perfect setting for a memorable evening. It was evident that the chef had put immense effort into every detail, from the presentation to the ingredients used. Suba truly offers a remarkable dining experience that caters to both the palate and the senses.

Disappointment price vs meal. Choice of seasonal menu. Much too salty, the textures and blends of flavors are not up to par. Cold atmosphere (decor). Good service from the waiters.

It was a stormy day, the restaurant was quiet. We choose the chef's surprise menu (95€ per person). One guest no meat, another one no cheese. The meal was very good and much above our expectations, extremely balanced, all the 5 courses and amuses were delicious and beautifully presented/plated. The wine pairings worked well for me (I told the sommelier what I liked and she paired it wonderfully), my partner was less happy with his pairing (also the price/quality/quantity was not much justified, better to go for wine per glass-about 15€/each). The maitre D' was exceptional. And in a beautiful day, the view and the sunset must be incredible. Thank you for the lovely evening.

An experienced not to be missed in Lisbon. The service is impeccable from the moment one enters the hotel. The tasting menu options are world class. The wine pairings are without fault and thrilling for those looking for new and unusual wines. Again, if you love culinary experiences this is a must do in Lisbon.

Amazing restaurant with beautiful rooftop view. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. All components of each dish go incredibly well together and keep you excited about what's coming next. I'm still surprised they don't have a Michelin star. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you with at least one star because you deserve it!

We tried the executive menu on a weekday lunch and it was an amazing experience. The view on the Tagus was really nice and the service was discreet but efficient. The dishes were all elaborates with very satisfying textures and flavor mixes. I can't comment on the tasting menus but the executive one (served only during weekday lunches, 30€ for a 3 course meal) is extremely good value for money.

Although we ordered ala carte, the dinner was excellent. Their amuse-bouche was, cute, creative and most importantly, delicious. The starters were fantastic; the mains were very good, and their deserts were creative but still good. Over the last few weeks we've been eating at Michelin stared restaurants (10 in the last 3 weeks - Paris, Bordeaux, Porto) - tonight we thought we were just getting a nice restaurant with a view - and restaurants with a view usually lean on that; drawing in guests with the view rather than the food. So we were pleasantly surprised when the food turned out to be so good - to the point we think they deserve a star.

What an amazing last night in Lisbon. The view was unbeatable. The skyline, bridge, and water. The food was amazing. I had the tasting menu 3, which was so creative. The truffle pasta was divine, and the blue lobster was a favorite. The amuse-bounce was even a highlight. Easily the best meal we had in our week in Lisbon. The service was unmatched with Carlotta and Rafael being so attentive and informative, along with Ronato. They were all so nice and engaged. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views from the top of the hotel here. We were seated outdoors on the rooftop which was stunning. Service is a bit slow but food was inventive.

Fine dining experience with an awesome view. The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, and the view is fabulous. You can have a cocktail or drink in the rooftop bar and then go down to the restaurant, where you will have a superb cuisine experience, for sure. There are also vegetarian options. The waiters were always making certain that everything was ok and we were comfortable. A place that I want to come back in Lisboa!

Three of us went for dinner last night and could not have been happier with the choice. What an amazing team they have here. First the location, we had an amazing corner table where we could watch the sailboats. The service started and was impeccable. Great explanations of both the food and the wine pairing. We had the 5 course chef selection. Every dish was so flavorful and thought through. Amazing experience that we would do again without a thought. Well done.

Not a dinner, but an amazing experience. We were a group of 4 and chose the chefs menu. The delicacy and commitment applied to every dish were mind blowing, specially the pork. All the staff were very professional and the wine suggestion really raised the experience. A big thank you to Carlota for the warm welcome and passionate attitude throught out the dinner. Hope to be back soon
