Amazing experience at Taberna Fina! Warm and welcoming staff with great knowledge of the whole degustation experience without it being to formal or distant. The chef was really kind and in the end seeked our feedback and shared some views on his favourite cuisine tendencies. Cannot point any out any dish in a negative way, they were all extremely well prepared and thought. Highlights: the initial snacks and the dessert. The Madalenas(!!!) we're something from out of this world. Looking forward to coming back and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

They serve a well balanced tasting menu with both exciting flavors as well as some safer bets. The wine pairing was excellent and really matched the food. The ambiance is relaxed and the service is outstanding. We brought our one year old and they made us feel welcome.

This was a once in a lifetime meal! The service was outstanding, the food was prepared in an ethical and Michelin star quality while still retaining Portuguese authenticity. The wines were sourced from Portugal with the utmost care in order to highlight the tastes of the food. We were utterly delighted by the evening’s culinary delights. The chef and his staff are in our debt.... we love the unexpected and different and they provided us an extraordinary dinner! Thank you Taberna Fina!

We had an absolutely superbe date night at Taberna Fina, overlooking the lively square and enjoying some of the most delicious foods we ever had. The Tasting Menu was an eye-opener for flavors and textures, combining local portugese ingredients and new takes on classical ways of preparation. I’m attaching out menu in the picture section and everything was mouth-watering, but I fell absolutely in love with the Black Pork, Walnuts and Iceberg lettuce prepared as a taco, the artisan bread, the meagre, which was prepared in a fresh foccacia with celery in all kinds of form and a beautiful hint of rosemary as well as the Azorean pineapple, date and mint dish as a plate cleanser. The location in the former consulate of Brazil is a mix of hip and chic and everything from the waiting, to the interior to the beautifully presented dishes was a fine dining experience in a really relaxed atmosphere. The staff was wonderful and turned our evening into an unforgettable one. We didn’t chose the wine pairing, but the Champagne (André Clouet Grande Reserve) was a great choice and the food was so well thought through, that I am almost certain the wines will be, too. At 65 Euros the tasting menu was in our eyes a very good value for money and I can only recommend to make use of this gem in Lisbon whenever you want a special dining experience.

This was really good on the first couple of months after it opened. Have been losing quality of late, though, which is a shame, due to the location and prices charged (with wine pairing you can expect to pay 80 euros for a tasting menu experience.

Unfortunately , when I arrived at the restaurant, they told me that my the reservation Was canceled !!!! according to them, they called me during the afternoon and since I did not answer (I was working), they decided to cancel. they did not send mail, sms or try contacting again. seems like a disastrous treat for a restaurant. Won’t book again.
