Keep away from this hotel!! They sell more rooms than they have capacity for, and then leave people without alternatives without any warning. This is a 24hour check in hotel - we arrived at 00:15 at the reception and we received and email informing of the cancelation of our reservation due to overbooking at 00:17. We had no help from the staff to try to find an alternative. We were literally told we would have to sleep in the street. And we were not the only ones in this situation. Never again, completely unacceptable.

Great stay in Lisbon! Location: Amazing! You can arrive and leave easily as the metro line that connects to the airport has a station exactly in front of the hotel. Not even necessary to cross the street, same sidewalk. Also this same station has another line connecting to downtown. Easy to come and go to the most turistic points, bars, nightclubs. Also there's bus 24h in front of the hotel to downtown. Surroundings: Great! The perfect balance between residential and commercial area. There's restaurants, super markets, it's in front of a beautiful park, kiosks to spend the afternoon, mall nearby, everything you'd need. View: Incredible! I stayed in one of the highests floors, so there was a beautiful view of the park, sunset and even at this distance the downtown area. If you gonna spend some time working from your room, I highly recommend that experience. Cleanness: Super clean! The room was everyday in perfect conditions and everytime I needed something "extra" it was just simply ask them and they would provide asap. Breakfast: Yummi! Lots of food, varieties, always fresh. Totally worth to include it. Staff: Super Friendly! They were always super polite and reassuring that we had everything we needed. Others: You feel special and unique due to the high level of attention they dedicate to you. At the bar they offer snacks when you order something to drink. Super comfortable! Recommend this stay for solo travelers, family or business!

Great hotel in a strategical position (5 mt from the metro station, which bring you directly in the main spots of the city). It has a nice rooftop where you can see a landscape of the city. Our room was simply amazing, modern tv, huge bathroom and an unforgettable free massage chair inside the room! People in the reception were nice and friendly. The breakfast is also good, it has everything for a continental one. Very suggested!

We booked 2 nights to stay in this hotel and I do not have any doubts to leave 5 stars review in my first night. The hotel has 11 floors and quite big. If you look for a new modern hotel, you should not book this hotel. This is an old hotel but has many positive things as a consideration to book the hotel. We are a couple traveling from Porto to Lisbon with a bus (stop in Oriente bus stop). Pros: 1. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 2. The hotel can inform you where you can park your car if you travel with a car. 3. Location The location is very strategic. It is very close with metro station Alameda and bus stops. You can go to Lisbon city center and place nearby with metro or bus. If you travel without a car, I advise you to buy daily pass of Viva Go. It costs €6,45 for a day pass from the first time you pass your card. If you do not have the card, it will cost you more €0,50 and it is rechargeable. You can take metro and bus or tram freely for 24 hours. It is a very smart saving. If it is 1 time pass, it will cost you €1.50 per trip per person for the metro. 4. Room The room is simple but clean and tidy. We have a garden city view which is great. The bed is comfortable, the pillow is perfect (not so soft and hard), the tv is small but still useful, there is a small fridge, there is safety book, tea maker is free to use, the plug to charge, the lamps work perfectly. The bathroom is clean and has complete amenities (the clean towels, the soaps, the shampoo, the toilet paper, the hair dryer, the dustbins), the hot water is perfectly working. 5. Check-in The check-in went smoothly with the receptionist. We asked her if it was possible to get a room not to close to downstairs, and we got in the ninth floor. We need to sleep in the quieter environment. The receptionist is kind, nice, and helpful. She speaks English well. Check-in is only at 14:00 So, we leave our bags in the hotel while exploring the city. 6. Breakfast We got an offer from booking.com for a free breakfast in the hotel. And it is GREAT. The breakfast is excellent. They always refill things. We have bacons, cheese, fruit, and many others things. 7. Free wifi accessible inside the hotel. 8. The hotel has a bar and in a fair price. 9. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. 10. The hotel is close with supermarket and restaurant. We went to Nepal Curry Restaurant 3 times on our stay in this hotel for lunch and dinner, and it was a really great experience. The restaurant is so close from the hotel. 11. They accept payment by cash or Multibanco. 12. Wearing a mask is a must inside the hotel. No need to show Covid19 certificate. Cons: 1. The room is not sound proof. We can hear the noise from our neighborhood but it is not a big problem for us. We are still enjoying our night here and can sleep well.

For the honesty, I have not stayed in the hotel. I had an unfortunate situation and my motorbike broke down infront of the hotel at around 11pm. After having to deal with the bike, I went to the reception and requested to wash my hands in their toilet, which he denied saying: 'sorry, only guests can use the premises'. So, all I can say to that person, hope when you'll be in a need, you'll meet nicer people 😘

Super nice hotel for a great price. Rooms are simple, but tidy and super clean with a great view of the park. Rooms have desks and Wi-Fi was great, easy to connect and I could work with no stress. Staff was super friendly and helpful. For instance, cleaning lady didn't seem to speak much Portuguese nor English, but she did her best to make sure I was comfortable and had all I needed, such as toilet paper, clean towels, coffee and sugar. Breakfast was excellent and food was constantly replaced. Fruits were super sweet :) Hotel is at an amazing location, close to subway station and bus stops. There are lots of stores around, supermarkets, restaurants and areas to visit. Totally recommend this hotel from solo travelers like me to families. I'll definitely stay there when I go to Lisbon again.

It's been 1 night till my review. Good staff, fast check in, clean rooms, nice decorations, very nice breakfast, centered location, nice view and excellent value for money. The only negative is the room size (we booked triple room).

Stayed for a few nights last week. Good experience overall, very friendly staff, good breakfast on the beautiful rooftop. Rooms are a bit outdated and location is a bit tough for a walk to the main attractions, but the metro station is literally next door which is a huge plus. Overall, was a good experience.

I really enjoyed staying here, the room was nice and tidy, had a big and comfy bed and a nice TV. The metro station Alameda is quite literally right in front of the hotel, which is great! The breakfast is good, although there could be a few more options like fresh vegetables. The only minus point I would give is that it can be quite loud outside your room in the early morning hours (doors closing loudly, people talking, etc.) because the room doors aren’t really soundproof, but I can overlook that since it’s a 3 stars hotel. All in all I had a good stay and would recommend if you’re on a budget but still want something relatively nice!

For being a 3-star hotel, this certainly gives a few 4 and 5 start hotels a bit of a challenge. The admin process went thru with no glitches, I extended my initial booking by another night and was able to remain in my room. My room had a very nice sized TV linked to hidden, surround speakers. I had a body message chair, which was quite unexpected. Lighting in the bathroom is good to do your makeup. Water pressure and heat were very good. The breakfast was normally good enough, the young lady at the breakfast bar was really nice and helpful. I can say that the "continental" pastries selection was a bit limited. There was no Nutella, which in Europe is a complete no-no! The bed was comfy. There was a good selection of pillows to suit my taste. The view was magnificent, as was the view from the breakfast terrace. They acrostic had a scale in my room and a big scale at the hotel door. Awesome when your suitcases need tweeking. The price of the stay was good. The location is brilliant. I was sad to leave. The only criticism was that the cupboard doors were loose and a real challenge to operate, as was the drawer at the desk. The toiletries were not very good, I did find out in my last day, that the linen trolley was well stocked with toiletries which I had never received inside my room. I only had bath soap.

A typical city center tourist hotel. Modest and a little dated, but perfectly sufficient as a base to explore Lisbon. Good breakfast. Staff were friendly and efficient. The neighborhood is good and the adjacent park is good place to have a coffee and people watch. Hotel sits on top of the metro station so a good base to explore other parts of Lisbon. Parking is readily available in adjacent underground paid parking, but I just parked on the street.

Value for money. That's all. This is not a modern hotel with fancy things. This is a good hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast is decent which helps you start your day. If you're looking to roam around Lisbon all day and just come back and crash here you'll be fine. The staff was nice and spoke good English. The biggest plus point is it's proximity right next to the Metro station so you can just walk out of the hotel and be in the metro in 2 mins. Both green and red lines run from there which will take you anywhere in the city.

The only redeeming parts of my stay were the proximity to the metro station with great access to the green and red lines, the price, and that they allowed me to leave bags with them for two hours after a noon checkout. But you get what you pay for! The hollow doors combined with tile flooring in the hallways and that you need to slam the doors to get them to latch properly - a veritable cannon shot any time somebody closes a door on your floor. Honestly the loudest hotel I've ever been in for 'normal' activities. People weren't being obnoxious at all, it's just very loud to enter and exit a room. Not conducive for light sleepers, even with ear plugs in. The thermostat was decorative, as far as I could tell. Although it wasn't that warm outside in early March, my room was 78 degrees and nothing could be done to make it cooler. I am fairly sure that air conditioning is not available at all outside of the summer months, but even just trying to use the fan was pumping in hot air. Road noise and street activity in such a busy area makes leaving the window open untenable at night, so it was impossibly hot for my two night stay. For those with less delicate sensibilities for heat and noise, this might be a great spot! But it was a one and done for me. The room was clean, the front desk staff were pleasant, and the rooftop bar has a nice view.

The service was amazing. Friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. Different staff spoke different languages to include everyone they could. Breakfast was excellent and made the stay very worth it. Room was spacious and great view of the park below. Letting us keep bags there after we checked out was a big bonus. Will stay again

The service was great! The man that greeted us for check-in at reception was very kind and friendly, welcoming us with a smiling face (which isn't the case at hotels in some other European countries, sadly). The room was nice and clean, although a little small (might be because we were 3 in one room). The breakfast is really nice, served in the rooftop bar/ dining area (you can dine inside during the winter). The location is perfect, as it is right in front of Alameda metro station (green & red lines). Once again, thank you to the kind and friendly staff for our pleasant stay. (Sorry I forgot his name but he's the tall guy with perfect English)

Really loved this hotel! You get in your room and in bathroom built in bluetooth speakers which I find it amazing. The view from our room was really nice, towards the park, clean, big and comfy rooms. The breakfast was included and was ok. Recommend

We called and made a reservation over the phone in the morning. When we arrived in the evening, they said they'd cancelled our reservation and given away our room since we hadn't arrived by 6:00pm. They had not told us anything about that when we booked the room. It made for a very difficult evening trying to find lodging in a fully booked Lisbon. Very disappointed.

Excellent place to live by, met far by the expectation with the room that was being given. The view from the rooftop is escalating with a welcome drink on offer. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful with every details. Breakfast is standard but could have been better.

You get what you pay. Small bathroom, old furniture. You will not be awed when you first glance it. But still: the bed is very cosy and it'll get you a good night sleep. Cleaning staff is careful and the breakfast is decent. The omlette is surprisingly good. The hotel is very well located, basically door-to-door with underground metro entrance at Alameda stop. You'll travel less than 10 min, regardless is the airport, Rossio train station (for Sintra), Cais do Sodre train station ( for Cascais), old city centre or even Oceanario (for this one you'll have to walk for another 15 minutes after you get off the metro).

Okay, so let me get started. We paid a very good price/night because of Booking discounts, but being in the hotel was just "okay". The reception was very nice and polite, the room was cool, I dislike that 2 solo beds glued are much cheaper than a couples bed but go figure... the breakfast was THAT GOOD... like REALLY GOOD. And the location is amazing because of the metro. Our bathtub was old and not maintained since you needed to be ultra careful so it doesn't flood the entire room (which happened twice and even though we were vocal about it both times no one cared - "don't worry, we'll see it later" "we'll see it tomorrow" - never happened.) so we were just very careful about it. The TV was old but had quite some channels, the wifi worked okay (no complains there), the room service was okay as well but they forgot to replace towels and sometimes hygiene products. TL;DR: basically the location and the breakfast are amazing but everything else is basically "OK".

Flight was cancelled so our stay was delayed by one day. Called hotel at 10am to cancel 1st night. Hotel would not refund our money even though they were not full. Even a free drink or breakfast would have been a nice gesture but no - nothing was offered. Bar was way overpriced. Could get drinks for half the price across the street. Shower would not drain and we could only take a 2 minute shower before it would flood the bathroom floor. Drain smelled terrible too.

Beautiful View, Nice and Friendly Staff. Awesome Breakfast, Nice and Cozy Beds. Beautiful Rooftop Bar. It was a pleasant Stay, i would definitely come back again. Big thanks to all Staffs especially to the Receptionists Antonio and Judith, our Vacation wouldn't had been as good as it was without your help. 🤗❤️🙌🏾 Definitely a Hotel to recommend 👌🏾

Good location between the airport and the city center, with good connections in all directions. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Nice restaurant on the roof.

  • 2/5 Jon R. 5 months ago on Google
On of the receptionist a bit rude with me. This hotel needs clearly serious renovations and specially a good isolation in the rooms. The good thing is the location and quick access to subway.

  • 3/5 Andrea Briker A. 1 year ago on Google
Positive: Price Location Staff Bed and pillows Negative It was under some construction but it was not hiden. The elevator did not work one day and the stairs were under construction too. The key didn't work one time and we had to call-go to reception to finally get help with this.

It is disgusting. The breakfast is bad. The rooms are scary. And the receptionist is impolite. There is no late checkout. In one word it is bad. I don't want anyone to see this.

Definitely convenient as it is right outside the Alameda station. It had tiny rooms, but overall good value for money. It's one of the most convenient hotels for the budget conscious traveller.

Note that this is a 3-star hotel with that price. Location is amazing (2 metros). Room is very nice (good beds, good tv). Breakfast is okay.

  • 5/5 Clarke M. 1 year ago on Google
Very clean, great staff and service however its a bit out from the action. But it had a metro station right outside the door so from the airport to (alemeda, red line) 12 mins, the to the river (cassa de sobre, green line) 10mins then your at the ferry terminal and 5mins from pink Street and 15mins from the Rua Augusta Arch. 30 odd euros for 3 days metro pass wich includes the elevador and the ferry to Cacilhas.

  • 4/5 Jennifer O. 9 months ago on Google
Very nice and accessible location, next to the metro. Easy travel to city centre and airport. The breakfast has good selection of food. The staff are friendly and professional. I travelled with my family including a 10-month old baby, they have provided a cot as well.

Our stay was a nice one, we faced problems with the heating of our room. I am convinced it never was working and despite the numerous calls directed to the reception the situation never changed. Will definitely give it another try

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This site will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! You get in your room and in bathroom built in bluetooth speakers which I find it amazing. The view from our room was really nice, towards the park, clean, big and comfy rooms. The breakfast was included and was ok. Recommend

Hotel has excellent public communication: two underground lines plus many bus lines. Some refurbishment would be good for interior. Advantages are helpful staff and very good breakfasts.
