4 star hotel? Definitely not due to the appalling customer service. Very rude staff and also very rude hotel management. I made a booking for 5 nights, payable in advance. Due to an unforeseen circumstance I had to cut my stay short so I was trying to contact the hotel through booking.com to see if it was possible to change my dates (reducing from 5 to 3) and make a new booking for two nights at a later date. Note that I was not looking for any money back. The hotel replied on booking.com asking to email their reservations department so I did and that email was ignored. When checking in at the hotel, I was trying to explain the situation and the two staff at reception were extremely rude and would not even try to find a possible resolution that would benefit both parties. I again explained that I’m not looking for any money back, that I just want to change the date of two nights. I was basically told that it’s not their problem. I then emailed the hotel manager, hoping that she would have more decency and respect but no, I received the same treatment from the hotel management. She mentioned that we can’t get any money back, so I replied to her again saying I don’t want money back, I only want to change the date of two nights. No relies received since then. Today, June 10th I had to check out and the staff at reception is still saying it’s not their problem. These people cannot even be bothered to do something extremely simple, such as give me a band aid. I asked for another one at reception last night and the staff immediately said, “oh we ran out, we don’t have any”, which was a total lie because I had gotten one from another staff member earlier that morning and there was a box full of band aids. Absolutely terrible service, with zero respect or hospitality. This place should be avoided at all costs unless all of the current staff and management are fired and the hotel goes under new management. Disgraceful staff that gives a bad name to the Portuguese hotel industry.

We stayed here for a night during our stop over in Lisbon. The room was great - the bathroom was huge, with big windows. The shower was spacious and worked very well. We had a mini fridge as well. The bed was decently comfortable. Very clean and welcoming. The price vs. the location was incredible- we were central to everything, including the ocean. Service was great. Not loud at all- once you close the windows/balcony door, you can barely hear anything. Will absolutley return.

My sister and I payed a lot of money when we arrived at the hotel. This money was meant to be a disposal. We didn't get back the money until NOW, 6 months later! My emails weren't answered and every time I called them they acted like we've never stayed at their hotel. I'm really annoyed by the whole situation, really can't recommend their hotel!!!

The location was good and the people at the reception were lovely. But, I would say those are really the only positives. The walls are paper thin, I had the pleasure to be awakened by my neighbours doing the devil’s tango as if they were in my room. The toilet also made weird noises non stop, like water filling in, it was quite annoying too. The cleaning ladies were lovely and really thorough with the cleaning and making sure everything is as clean as can be, however the infrastructure is so old that no matter how much cleaning is done, some things need to be changed (sink full of scratches, toilet full of scratches and with old rust stains in bottom, towels smelling funky sometimes and full of holes, bet up trash can, shower without a detachable handle, no place to put your shower gel, even though there were holes where some sort of holder should be). Long story short, the hotel really needs some renovation because it is called “suites” and supposed to be 4 stars, but feels a lot like my college dorm. Another rather shocking thing for me was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were refilled, not swapped, which for me feels super unhygienic, specially since they were very tiny bottles (10-15ml). Also, not all outlets were functional, which is rather annoying in 2023. And last, but not least, 25€ per person for an airport transfer? Am I taking a limo? An Uber is 15€ tops in total. In summary, lovely service but the rooms need some TLC. I would book again if the price was as good as this time since the location is really great, but I wouldn’t splurge on it.

Avoid! This place has bed bugs! My first night when I checked in, the air conditioning was broken. The receptionist came to look at it, saw that it was truly broken and said that the manager wouldn't be in until tomorrow, so there was nothing she could do. It was extremely hot in the room and I could not sleep. I opened the windows to try to allow some of the heat to escape, which not much did...but it did allow all the noise and bugs in since there are no screens on the windows. The following day, they did move me to another room with a working air conditioner, so it was more comfortable...however, the day after that I woke up to find multiple bite marks all over my body. I emailed the manager to explain the situation and received no response.

Not reliable and not a 4 Star Hotel!!! My friend and I booked this hotel for 4 nights but for some reason the reservation was cancelled however we offered to pay during check in. The receptionist stated that was NOT possible and made a new reservation with a higher rate. We agreed to pay since we were already there with our bags and very tired. Traveling all night long we needed to have a rest before going out. We noticed the room’s air conditioning was not working and after our insisting they brought a noisy fans to the room and did not look for any other solution. We had to sleep in a hot room the first night, the next day we made a request that if the AC is not working to please move us to a room with working AC. She stated it is not guaranteed that they will be able to do so...later in the afternoon they told us they changed the room but as a courtesy we will not be charged. To our surprise the room was not only smaller but it only had one full bed when the agreement from the beginning was to have two beds..as per our request they add an extra hard, tiny and uncomfortable bed. The next day we requested to talk to the manager in which they stated the manager will come on Thursday... after insisting so much they found a room with two twin beds and reminded us again that this was the last time they change our room without charging us extra. This hotel has a lack of good management and also it is not a 4 Star hotel... I have been to many hotels and this one is a 3 Star hotel and 1 star management.

The only good thing about this hotel is the fact it is close. It is way too expensive at rooms are not great. Upon check in, the machine to scan the passport was apparently broke, which means they had to take s picture of my passport in the receptionist personal phone to release the key, which I don't think it's completely GDPR compliant. The rooms are extremely loud, you can hear everything that is going on out on the stairs and other people's rooms, which means I got to enjoy several movies my co-guests were watching, and listen to them 3am in the morning doing ... stuff. Beeping noises keep going off at random waking you up, again.

A Delightful Stay in Lisbon's Heart My recent stay at Lisbon Arsenal Suites was a true delight. From the friendly staff to the comfortable accommodations, I had a wonderful time exploring Lisbon from this convenient base. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a variety of Portuguese delicacies. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable stay in Lisbon.

Unbelievable this place. Got here yesterday i had no towels in the bathroom, the electricity socket are not working and so is the hairdryers. Ask for a replacement and they can accommodate that. Honestly not worth the money even if the location is good. Poor customer service as well as they can't even let me talk to management. My advice, pick another place!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had was at this Hotel. The reasons are given below: 1. The Rooms are extremely small, there is no space to move around and keep your stuff. 2. The service of the front desk people is very poor, our A/c was not working and despite continuous request neither was the A/c repaired nor they shifted us to another room. 3. The staff wasn't cooperative and we had to sleep whole night without A/c and fan. So would not recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lisbon, except the location this hotel has nothing good for guest.

I booked a room 1.5 months prior to my arrival through their website. When I arrived there, I was told that my booking had been cancelled without giving a reason or letting me know. Mind you, this was at 10pm. The lady at the reception was unable to say why. I don't know why they ask you for contact details when they don't even bother to let you know the booking has been cancelled. There was a match against Brugges that day, and we think they simply gave our room away... Ah, also poor communication skills - I sent them an email the next day to ask for a clarification on the whole situation, haven't received an answer yet. So, please use booking if you still want to sleep there.

The worst hotel for 70 euros I ever visited. Receptions assured me that it’s not noisy at night, no train, no bars. She just lied to me. But I didn’t sleep even an hour. Felt like I’m sleeping on street near by train station. Huge trains were coming each 30 minutes, people were shouting on street, music from bars was loud. Even at 04 am. The worst experience ever

Excellent members of staff, they were super nice to me and my partner who had suffered with a terrible food poisoning that she got from one of the restaurants in Lisboa. They were calling the room to check on her whilst I was out looking for medication for her at 2am. They also supplied us with extra towels and bags for the room. The girl at the reception kindly let us stay there longer so my partner doesn’t suffer with having to move locations etc All the best I have to say about them! Humanity above all! 🙏🏻🫶 Thank you!

Suites? HAHAHAH Got a broken shower at the first day, they didn't offer any solution, just wait the man to fix it at some day. The next day they moved us to another room. BTW: very noisy rooms. At night you cannot sleep: if you open the window you'll get eaten by mosquitoes and the AC sometimes doesn't work as expected. Minibar is empty. And very disappointing thing: they clean the rooms every 3 days. They should close this place.

I was booked into another hotel (which I had paid for 8 months previously) but they advised they could not host me less than 2 weeks before I was due to stay. In a panic, I started searching for a new hotel and a friend recommended Lisbon Arsenal Suites, a hotel he had stayed at previously. I managed to get a booking which cost only 10 euros more than my previous place. Those extra ten euros were more than worth it! The location is perfect: 900 steps to the water, close to the tram stop, the metro station, excellent food places (vegan friendly) and lots of wonderful things to look at. The hotel was clean with lovely staff and, yes, it took me a while to work out how to get the heater to work (I googled it) but that was only because I could not be bothered to ask anyone. The water feature was a little strange but I liked it! I had a big room with dining are and kitchenette. The bathroom was cozy but I don't sleep in there so who cares. So what could have been a stressful booking disaster (thanks to my previous hotel) turned into a really lovely long weekend. I plan on returning to Lisbon soon so will not hesitate to book again.

The sheets were stained, the couch looked dirty and the towels had holes in them. Things were wierdly beaten up, like the trashcan in the bathroom for no reason. The room was odd an had this akward corridor with a locked door near the bed. The location is great and I guess the service was ok. Didn't take the breakfast. For the price we paid I wouldn't recommend.

The staff was super friendly and helped us get a taxi at the end, the rooms are spacious, however the AC unit did not work in our first room. It was 100° every day, give or take a few degrees, so we asked to be switched after the first night as it was 86° in the room all night. They switched us rooms and that AC did not work either. They told us there was nothing they could do, so they just gave us a fan. On one of the last nights, we got bed bugs also, so it was sort of rough honestly. Location was great, staff was nice, but it was tough not having any way to escape the heat after being in the sun all day every day unless we took cold showers, and even then, we started to sweat in our room after showers. Next time, we’d probably spend a little more on a nicer hotel since we thought AC was included in the price of this hotel but just plain didn’t work.

The bedroom is clean and the bed comfortable. Hotel accommodating, they kept our luggage after the checkout. Only problem, the walls are thin so we heard the neighbor for a part of the night.

Good place to stay, clean and tidy. In a great location about two block from downtown. Also it is a short walk to timeout market and has access to public transportation.

I never received my 50 euro guarantee which I was told I was going to get some days after my stay. I called the hotel, they said I need to write them an email. They never responded to my emails.

Wonderful hotel in the center of lisbon, in walking distance to time out market and the historical center. Only downside is you can hear everything happening in rooms around you.

🫤 For your information. When booking their pictures promised us to have big windows and a great view, but we didn't get neither of them. We were extremely disappointed and asked for some compensation ending up getting any. There is hot water enough for only one showerer at once.
