They didn’t reply to my question about early luggage drop-off but happily received me hours before the formal check-in so really appreciate it. Avenue is reasonably well located, roomy, and offers great coffee. Beds are comfortable, showers clean, kitchens on individual floors basic but sufficient to make a simple meal. In rooms with no AC, one person always draws the short straw and ends up on the bed opposite the fan. This time, the person was me. Otherwise, a place to go back to for sure.

We rented a private room/shared bathroom - were very happy with the quality. Front desk people were helpful and cheerful. The pizza was decent, location couldn't be beat.

In terms of Price, the facilities are less. One important think they should consider is that, check in time is 4Pm which is way behind expected. And i was requested to give me below seat which they unable to offer me though the seat was free. One important factor is , the MRT is very near to this hostel. All together, i may suggest you to look other hostel in this Budget.

A great place to stay in the center of Lisbon! Very kind and helpful Staff, always around to help you. Super clean - the Cleaning Staff takes care of common areas and bathrooms from the very morning hours until late night! They serve delicious breakfast and organise pizza event everyday - a truly worth-coming place!

Cons: 1. Guest kitchen is really small even for 1 person, very limited cookers. 2. The receptionist asked me to fill “pre-checkin form”, but, isn’t it a receptionists’ job? Pro: 1. The room was clean 2. Some toilets are spacious. toilets are attached with showers, which is quite convenient.

I rated this hostel / hotel 5 stars for its price point. I stayed in a 1 person private bedroom with shared bathroom. Booked via Expedia for €91,50 for 3 nights. City taxes are to be paid in the hostel. 1. The employees are great. They arranged a table and a chair so I could create my own working station. 2. Check-in ⏰is flexible time starting from 15.00-05.00 in the morning. Not many locations for this price have a reception open till late. 3. Everything is clean🧽. The shared bathroom including toilets and ofcourse the rooms. There are more than enough bathrooms I think 5/6 per floor. I never queued. 4: linnen, you get everything at the beginning of your stay and do not get change, unless when you ask for it. Which I did not. 5. 📍The location is amazing. 7 minutes by bike to the monuments (the yellow famous building) Praça do Comércio. You have the rental bikes infront of the hostel door and can get a day pass for example from Lime or Bolt for €6 which gives you access to the steps and bikes. The airport ✈️is very close - 20 minutes by bus 783. The stop is only 4 minutes away. 6. Food and drinks are cheap in Lisbon also in the hostel. I do not recommend the Pizza, also because I am not a pizza person but wanted to try it anyways. For me the flavours were not on point and a bit too burned. They give you 20% discount on a pizza. So I paid €11.20 for a beer and a Pizza, so almost no money. 7. Hostel kitchen is small and I did not use it. 8. There is an elevator🛗 9. I slept on the front side of the hostel 3rd floor, and it is very very very noisy there with the windows open. Also because I think there is a hospital nearby so every day you hear the ambulance quite often and the road is around the corner. The hostel is quiet at night. 10.Free coffee during the stay real coffeee! 11. A lot of food around. I craved doner on the last day before heading to the airport. It was delicious. Kebabish Pt is around the Corner Summarising great / and comfortable stay and I would definitely come back on my next trip to Portugal even tough I can afford a more luxurious stay. You got all you need, and the people are nice!

Great hostel for a small price. Really nice atmosphere, awesome breakfast. The whole Hostel is new/renovated, very clean and has really good bathrooms too. These are not group bathrooms, but single bathrooms - it was more privacy than expected :). Also the Staff is nice and helpful. Highly Recommended

Definitely recommended!!! :-) We had a private room on 4th floor with a balcony and a great view. Rooms were clean, shared bathrooms also clean and the hostel in general very central with a lot of kind people. The Pizza is AMAZING - would definitely come back! Thanks for having us :-)

The hotel is very nice and spotless, walking distance to all attractions even the airport is 25mins away and more importantly the receptionist and all staff members are delightfully helpful. She allowed us to check in literally 6 hours earlier because we were knackered after 14hours flight, she sorted out the cleaning very quickly and efficiently so thank u ever so much for that. They also have very nice breakfast, free coffee, bar and pizzas for dinner. Very nice place to socialize and be in close proximity to everything, the only thing i would say is double check before you book because even if u booked a double room, the bathroom could be shared but they do have suites as well.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room (twin bunks) was great for the price, however I'd not want to be there in summer or winter with no aircon or heating. The bunks had very loud springs which were heard by a simple turning in the bed. The bathrooms were clean but the shower head isn't full height, so a bit annoying however always available!! A dimmer for after 10pm in the corridors would be great as it's SUPER bright if you go for a late night pee or shower. Plus it shines through into the rooms. The pizza was nice. Coffee machine was good, not the best coffee but drinkable. Very good location to get to everything and the metro. A nice place next door for food called Local. Would stay again! Obregada :)

Avenue itself is quite nice with clean spacious rooms and renovated bathrooms but overall everything was extremely disorganized. Before arriving I tried to call and email regarding a change in my reservation and no one ever picked up or emailed back. Upon arrival it took over an hour to check in, and my friends and I weren't even placed in the same room despite having all booked under the same name. Angela tried hard to fix this which was nice but in the end we still weren't all together. The accommodation has a lot of potential but definitely needs some work on the organizational side of things.

The hostel is located in a very convenient area: not too far from downtown, many restaurants and shops around, metro station and bus stop is a few mins away. The hostel looks new, staff is super friendly and helpful. Free coffee is available to all guests. The bathrooms on floors were clean and I never waited for a free one. However, this hostel lacks a kitchen. Technically, it’s there, but we found it impossible to cook. Adding at least a kettle would be game-changer. My friend and I stayed in the cheapest room for 2. There was a bunk bed, a chair, a bedside table, and a few hangers. I really liked a blackout curtain and comfortable mattresses. We were ready that the room will be small and with no AC. But we were not ready that the street outside will be super noise even late at night. It was too hot to sleep with a closed window and too noisy with an open one. Honestly, it’s the only serious minus that I’ve noticed here in a week, so I guess this hostel is still a great value for money

What a nice youth hostel!! Absolutely loved my stay, and so cheap and so accessible. Mondays and Thursdays they serve free pizza. Breakfast is available for €5. I stayed 7 nights, and so enjoyed. Service and cleaning everything amazing.

Great hostel! We had a private room with a really comfortable bed, shared bathrooms and a terrace, where we sat for a drink overlooking the city. It feels like the standard of a hotel for the price of a hostel! The pizzas are sublime, we definitely recommend trying them when you stay. Great location, a short lime scooter ride to all of Lisbon's main attractions.

My first ever hostel experience, so amazing I came back a second time! The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Kept our bags before check in and after check out while we were getting situated. I stayed in a private room both times. Rooms were clean and even more so the constant upkeep in the washrooms/kitchen, 10/10. Compared to another hostel I stayed at in Lisbon, it seems people have a little more respect for the facilities and other guests around you. Kitchen has a hot pot, cutlery, plates, cups, wine glasses, fridge, really useful! Great vibe, I'd come back a third time :) Oh, and... pizza is amazing! Thank you so much for letting my hostel experience be a great one.

Nice private rooms. Shared bathrooms were actually clean. Bit of a party vibe downstairs but you can ignore that if you want :)

The hotel is clean, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, there are enough rest rooms...but there is a lot of things to improve, such as: 1. Add Air Conditioners to the rooms, because it's not convenient to open the windows as the street is so noisy, in addition, every 5 minutes there is a plane that passes above the hotel causing so much noise. 2. The kitchen is so so so so so small! Impossible to use it comfortably.

Everything looks new and clean, even the bathroom! Staff are friendly. The location is good for anywhere you wanna go. Breakfast is not included anymore. No complaints.

The rooms were smaller than anticipated. We booked an ensuite and it was quite tiny for the price. That said, the staff was wonderful and the location was good.

The Hostel is quiet, and very clean, and its close to the metro station, it only lacks activities and curtains in the beds for privacy.

Best choice I made with accomodation!! Excellent place, with great atmosphere. The stuff was extremely nice and helpful. The place have a unique pizza oven in the main floor, and thay make every evening Neapolitan pizza wich was not bad at all,but still need some final touch (i believe it will be excellent soon, the pizza thing is quite new there). Overall i had a very good experience. I was 4 Nights in a single room with sherd bathroom. It was raining most of the time,so i was glad i hade place to hang out and meet nice people. Hopefully will be back in Lisbon sometime, and back in this wonderful guest House.

Overall very cozy, great service and clean rooms. They offer homemade pizza in the evening and coffee / water throughout the day. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Cheapest singe room in the area, so I had low expectations, but the whole hostel is tidy and clean and looks have been refurbished not long ago. Everybody was lovely, both the guests and the staff. They also offer an amazing and cheap breakfast (6€) in the morning and a very well made pizza for the evening, again quite cheap. Location is pretty good as is very close to the blue and the yellow metro lines. Last but not least, free tee and coffee (and not even instant coffe, actual coffe )

Great budget pick in a convenient location! Generously sized rooms with lots of hanging space for clothes and an armchair. Luxe decor and nice quality bedding (though the mattress was average, it was fine given the price point.) Lots of shared bathrooms on each floor, we never had to wait to use. Kitchenette is small and basic, but you probably won’t use it anyway with so many good dining options nearby. Also great pizzas available in the lobby for a reasonable price. Building has an elevator :) The location isn’t super trendy but it was between a lot of different neighbourhoods and right near a big metro/bus station so it was a great central point to explore all Lisbon has to offer. Very good value for money.

It’s really good and cheap very nice bathrooms and shower, rooms are nice and comfy…only reason not 5 stars is cuz they don’t have a rooftop/smoking area u gotta go all the way down to the street also not the best vibes I’ve had, still great overall tho

Oh, where do I start? Great price, great pizza, very clean, and a great location! The staff are well informed and incredibly friendly, especially the guy with the beard. On my next trip to Lisbon I will definitely stay in the Avenue for the clean rooms, great pizza and good vibes!
