Even
though
we
paid
in
advance
for
two
rooms
and
received
a
booking
confirmation
by
email,
when
we
arrived
at
Dom
João
the
desk
staff
said
they
had
only
one
room
reservation
in
their
system.
The
staff
implied
it
was
our
error.
Only
after
realizing
we
had
proof
of
the
reservation
and
our
payment,
the
staff
eventually
admitted
the
problem.
They
then
blamed
it
on
a
colleague
who
came
in
early
that
day
and
was
not
present,
and
did
very
little
to
help.
Their
error
wasted
an
entire
afternoon
of
our
first
day
in
Lisbon
because
we
had
to
find
alternative
accommodation.
If
you
read
other
reviews
here,
you
will
find
a
similar
theme
of
reservations
going
missing
and
bookings
not
being
honored.
This
is
not
an
isolated
experience.
This
hotel
is
disheveled
and
disorganized.
An
awful
experience,
best
avoided.
