Ok for the price. Nice staff but the bathroom smell was terrible.

Scam places. It used to be good but now it is completely degrading. Dirty, expensive and scammy: no shared kitchen, 10 euro/day extra to work in the living room and no towels. I don't see any reason to stay there.

The pictures on the website are deceiving. The room was small and the bathroom was dirty. The shower on the first floor doesn't have a door, so the water leaks out all over the floor. Someone had left their gross tube of toothpaste that was turning brown and nothing was done about it. They play loud music and party until late in the night. The saving grace for this hostel is that the staff are great and the location is perfect. Great place to party, bad place to live.

It’s not the same as years back!be aware of that!we just happen to meet a bartender who used to work there .I don’t really like to say but being honest the worst hostel I have ever been (among 20 probably ,or more):the coworking area is the only place quite good we’re you can’t actually stay for free!its just a scam, cause no one will say to you,no kitchen area and you will risk to injure your head in the rooms:it’s not ok .No words about the bathroom,do they actually know you should clean it once in a while ??? My friends were really disappointed about it,so was I :/

This hostel was pretty nice. The gentleman that works the desk at night was so nice and helped me pay for my taxi when the driver was being so rude to me and would not let me pay with my card. The beds are pretty nice as well however the pillows are rather flat. Its 7euro to do laundry here and it took a day and a half for them to finish my laundry which they insisted on doing themselves. The breakfast is not complimentary and nor is the dinner. It clearly states that the breakfast complimentary however does not with the dinner which is rather misleading. The lady that works the front during the day always seems angry at something and could improve in her customers service skills. I extended my booking because of the laundry and was able to get a Large room with just me and one other person for the sake price. I am not entirely sure how to rate this hostel because it had its bad things about it and good. If it wasn't for the friendly staff (except the lady that works during the day) it would be a 3 star however the staff moves it up to 4.

While the location was great, the private room was somewhat disappointing. There was an AC that I could not figure out how to operate, and the stairs were annoying when I had to drag all my luggage up. Not a deal breaker, but to be considered by future patrons. I did like the tasteful decor and spaciousness, however.

If you like party type hostels, you will probably like this one. Location as well as offer of common events is good. Unfortunately, I found room to be quite claustrophobic and limited bathrooms needing renovation and surely some cleaning. Still, crew is nice and helpful.

It's not dirty like the other reviews say but there are quite a few down sides. I paid extra for a room with a safe and then the safes weren't useable. To check out before 9am you have to call someone to come so plan ahead if you have to leave early to get a flight or bus.. Also, I booked this because its meant to be a coworking hostel so I thought I could work while staying here but the other guests are pretty loud and I couldn't work well at all. The wifi and location are good.

I had a good night without any type of luxury. The room was very old and had a neglected appearance. They didn't seem dirty to me. The worst thing was that I left my backpack in the storage room and they stole my glasses because the zipper is open. I understand that it is my responsibility to leave it there but a little supervision would have been nice. Just bummed about it.

A very beautiful place! The kitchen is functional. For the dormitories it's OK, it was quiet. Since it was raining I didn't really know where to go especially after 10am because the dining room of the small grocery store and the kitchen were closed so I went to "chill" in my bed haha!!

this hostel is just magical. The atmosphere is conducive to meetings, there is a very good atmosphere, the bar is really good for very good prices. Every evening Mariana the chef cook prepares the meals herself, for 5 euros you have dish and dessert. The taste is just divine she has a lot of talent! The team of the hostel is very welcoming and warm. Thanks to Lucas for us to discover Lisbon at night, it was memorable. the only downside of this hostel would be the lack of bathroom.

You get what you pay for, which isn't much in this case. Old bathroom, hot water didn't always work. Still, everything was clean, the staff was friendly and the hostel is in a great place to start exploring Lissabon. I can recommend it if you're just looking for a place to sleep and shower. You should look for your breakfast somewhere else.

Oasis in Lisbon is one of the best hostels I've been to. The place is clean and super pretty, staff is really fun and friendly. The parties are great, and it's on every night. If you don't like parties you should at least request to not be placed in the main building as noise levels can be high. But this is one thing that makes this hostel awesome, that you're allowed to have fun, and this is why you'd come here in the first place. Meals are paid for but they are definitely worth it. If you like to meet people and have fun I don't think there is a better spot in Lisbon!

I do not recommend it!!! The photos don't look anything like the real thing. I had the worst experience, I was stuck in the elevator for about 1 hour and the employees thought it was normal. Fortunately I received a refund because I did not want to spend the night there.

Had a great time Here for 4 days. Breakfast was great and we could sleep in silence. You can chill inside and outside while planning your day or drinking a beer. The Hostel is 10 minutes from the centre where bars and restaurants are.

I booked my accomodation in the 10beds room, i was very glad to find a lovely balcony pointed towards the coast, a powerfull shower, a costant fresh breeze (top floor) and a private kitchen with stove, fridge and freezer (small tip, provide a sponge or a paper roll in order to keep it clean). On top of it the staff was very friendly, and big thank you to Nadia at the desk! Very good staff, place was clean, bbq night was tasty!

Bad hostel. It didn't have safe lockers, installations weren't clean. Not good experience.

Be prepared to be locked out of your room. Locks don't work.

Amazing place, bartender was the sweetest. Avoid bar park though. Awful.

Staff are very kind and helpful. Bathrooms aren't very clean often. Many like minded guests (young travelers) from all over the world. Great location near many places. The Mill coffee shop is a good close visit from here too. Enjoyed my stay here. Don't forget earplugs! As some people snore :)

I would recommend a stay in this place 100%! The hostel has a cute little homey atmosphere, the common area is a very cosy place to read, play board games and chat to people. They have a lovely backyard and the location is perfect. Not to mention the loveliest staff and the fun dinners! Also very cheap drinks at the bar; a must!

I’ve already started to miss this place. The first day in Lisbon I was so tired, and thought things were not as cheap as I’d imagined. Then the DJ played some good music, and all the lovely people went out at night together... You’ll get to know why Europeans praise Lisbon and this hostel is definitely part of it. Plus, it’s cheap!

The hostel is very cool! The staff is amazing! One of the best experiences in Lisbon!

The hostel was nice. It was a great place to meet people. However, the beds were not cleaned well. After one night I woke up with a head of lice and my friend had found an earwig on his ear. Disappointed to have that be the start of our Portugal experience. On top of that, at 1 AM the front desk worker turns on all the lights in the room to show the room to the group of men that were staying in that room. Lights were turned on and they were talking in a loud normal voice. I understand if I was taking a nap that this could happen, but at 1 in the morning that is absolutely ridiculous.
