We found this lovely little restaurant by chance. Whilst none of us are Vegan or Veggie or Gluten-free we ate the specials and it was all delicious. We had specials Vegan Lasagne, Mushroom Moquequa with Banana and red rice along with Quinoa and Kale Salad and Hummus - then desserts of Lime Cheesecake, chocolate cake and Carrot cake. All excellent and washed down with homemade juices and ice teas.

Magnificent vegan food and friendly staff. Hidden gem in this small street of Aljezur. We had a hummus sandwich and vegan sushi which were a piece of art

Was very pleased to find this place, great service, they are passionate about being vegetarians, and the menu was good. The place itself with an upper floor is nice and cosy.

Very nice and cozy vegetarian restaurant in the middle of nowhere - just found accidently on a driving way. On of Algarve's gems

Mo Vegan Bistro is hidden away in a small street in the old town of Aljezur. It is a characterful restaurant/lunchroom housed in old mill. The service is pure and very friendly. Everything is simple but nicely decorated. The menu has tasty vegan dishes like tempeh burger (14.10), lasagne with vegan mozzarella(11.80) and sandwich with pesto and vegan feta (7.50). There are also many gluten-free options. So if you want to eat delicious vegan food (once) in a special setting, this is a must! Opening hours: 12:00–22:00 Closed on Monday

Me an my girlfriend were in Aljezur for three nights and we came here to have dinner those three nights. The dish of the day is simply amazing. The mix of the flavours are super tasty. Do not forget to ask for the desert, you will not regret. Also the decoration of the space is fantastic. Looking forward to come back.

Beautiful restaurant with great ambience and warm service! We loved everything about this place, except that some of the dishes we had chosen were already sold out. However, it must be mentioned that we were quite late for dinner and this also speaks for the restaurant and its food. Local food, most vegan and also possible to mention if you have intolerances. The waitress welcomed and served us nicely. We were happy as could be. The chocolate cake with coconut base is highly recommended!!!

Great atmosphere, great food and very friendly staff. We came back a few times because we liked the place so much. Lots of great options and the daily special was good as well.

I can't recommend this place enough. Even though Aljezur seems like a small sleepy city, it's cute and with those narrow streets just a secret tipp. We found that restaurant just by surprise and were surprised indeed. The weekly special with Terijaki Tofu and smashed sweet potato were soooo good!! The staff is super friendly and the old barn that was turned into this lovely restaurant, is just super cute. Whenever I'm here, I'll come again!!

The food, the service, the ambiance, the portions, everything was spot on! My husband and I each had a veggie burger and shared the grounded salad with a side of olives, a fresh juice, kombucha and a slice each of banana bread for dessert! It was DELICIOUS. All of it. And we can’t wait to return and do it all over again 😊

My boyfriend and I had a good time here while having dinner. Chill out place with authentic organic tasty and flavory food. The chef's proposal of the day was delicious, and don't miss the potato wedges, they are typical from Algarve and very well prepared.

We found this place on our way to Saleema from Lisbon. What a wonderful discovery of a vegan place. The food was delicious, specially the malai kofta . The tacos with jackfruit were very flavorful. The server, Augustus was very helpful in explaining the menu and the kids had a great time playing bod games while waiting for food. The chocolate cheesecake was delectable.O e a very good vegan experience and highly recommended. You HAVE to make a pit stop here for the food!!

"Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honour to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."

We just had the surprise salad and the dish of the day accompanied with some delicious juice of the day. The composition of ingredients were outstanding. Fair prices, excellent taste and very wholesome staff. When you are around aljezur a must visit (especially if love the vegan cuisine). Would recommend 100% anytime. Thanks 😊

Best vegan dishes we had so far. All the staff was very kind and thoughtful. Make sure to ask for the soup and meal of the day. We had soup, meal and drink for less than 20€ and so delicious. Highly recommend. Thank you for the evening!

The green smoothie is very tasty and the cappuccino was also solid. Sadly the banana bread was very dry, the quinoa salad hasn’t seen any seasoning and just tasted like oil and some greens. The jackfruit sandwich just tasted like sour cabbage, but the bread was very good! 3 stars because it’s vegan, but I honestly would try different dishes or just eat somewhere else next time… The food looks like heaven, but misses its taste.

Bit odd really. We went due to the reviews. The menu was given with no explanation or telling us the specials. We worked it out from googling the menu specials whilst in the restaurant!! The menu is limited but food arrived quickly. The lasagne was Sloppy and too much tomato without herbs or structure. Grated cheese on top but not grilled or crisp. The quinoa salad was pretty dull and sooo oily. No flavour just texture. So pretty disappointing as we cook great vegetarian and expected inspiration. The service was functional and not proud of the food or selling it. 😕
