Affordable place to get local Portuguese food. There’s mostly locals here. I had their steak with fries and egg and it was satisfying but not mindblowingly delicious. The chocolate mousse dessert was really good though. One problem I had was with ordering. They only have a Portuguese menu and a “cheat sheet” of Portuguese words with English translation, but you’ll not find 50% of the menu on that cheat sheet. The waiter also wasn’t that good at English, or else he wasn’t keen on helping me out (I can’t tell which). Thankfully I was seated next to a very friendly local who helped explain the menu and recommend what to order.

Stumbled on this little gem in Portugal and boy was I not disappointed, small cozy familiar place , super service traditional local food and really tasty aswell , we went for octopus and a good steak 🥩 and was on point delicious , I stopped taking pictures after cause the wine was too good but we needed up having desserts ( chocolate mousse) and some cheese which both were delicious and ended up on some local aged grapa . Really good ! If you are looking for traditional Portuguese place , in Lisbon? Probably the best!

We chose this place because of the high ratings. Food is good but nothing special. Very small place and cash only.

One of the best meal we had in Lisbon. It’s a local restaurant. It’s very small. We got there 5 minutes before it opened. It got packed real quick. I can see why. The food was outstanding. Everything was delicious. Service was very good. I highly recommend this place. FYI, CASH ONLY!!!

Leckeres Essen, was frisch zubereitet wird. Gute Englisch Sprachkenntnisse vorhanden.

Very small, family run restaurant. We were lucky to arrive when it just opened. Almost all other seats were reserved or taken within minutes. Mostly locals there. Service helped us with the Portuguese menu. Had bread and cheese and olives (amazing!) for starters and steak with egg and fries (many locals ordered that, very jucy) and a fresh grilled fish. We only spent around 35 EUR incl starters wine and beer. Great price for very delicious food. Highly recommended (reservation)

Excelente dinner. It's a small restaurant, but it compensates for that by having excellent and delicious dishes and very attentive and nice employees. Recommended!

If you want to eat like the locals, then you have to visit Estrela d’Ouro. Fresh fish and meat, the best red wine!

Tiny place. Excellent food. Took the mixture plate of meat and sausage. Typical Portuguese dishes, all made well. Even the vegetables were great.

Really small restaurant with one of the best "home made food" I ever tasted outside. If you want to get there please make a reservation in advance. Typical "tasca do bairro". Deeply recommend!

A very traditional place with genuine food. It is not top notch, but still tasty. However, you would go there more for the experience, since this place is far from the touristic routed and is full of Portuguese people who enjoy a meal there. Finally, price wise it is really fair.

For many years I didn't want to leave a review for fear it will contribute to becoming touristic. It's still the best Portuguese tasca I know. Family run, great service, great atmosphere and fine traditional Portuguese food.

This is a charming hole-in-the-wall little restaurant just off the 28E tram and 734 bus. Between the 4 of us, we split 2 enormous filet mignon meals and a sea bream. Both were fantastic! The owner was very welcoming. We got a table at 7pm without a reservation, but by 7:05, all the tables had been taken. Our bike tour guide said it was the best food in Lisbon, and we can't disagree.... Highly recommend!

This is the best place I know in Lisbon, or at least my favorite. The owner Nuno is a stand-up guy with a big heart, always cordial and demure. His mother runs the kitchen. You kight can glimpse a little of her magic from the cozy dining area. The food is superb. Simple Portuguese dishes caracterize this tasca. The patrons are half people from the neighborhood and increasingly foreign tourist lured in by the fame and quality of the food. Be sure to try everything! But be mindful of the space and people. Also be aware that the tables are often is booked out.

Had a great traditional meal here. Would make a reservation or show up on the early side since it's small, they stopped taking walk-ins soon after I got there since they already had other reservations.

Brilliant. Friendly. Lovely home-cooked food (starters, carafes of white wine, cuttlefish stew, grilled sole, rice pudding, crème brulée, espresso) an absolute joy just round the corner from our Air BnB, after getting to, fannying around at, Heathrow, a late flight etc. A local gem.

This restaurant was simply the best restaurant that we dined in, in Lisbon. Totally authentic Portuguese food, absolutely fantastic host, and very good price. If it is the last thing you do in Lisbon, you have to search this place out and enjoy a meal there. It is small and the locals love it, so book. You will not regret it.

WONDERFUL! We took a bike tour of the city, and our guide recommended this place. Delicious, fresh food and lovely staff! Highly recommend! Authentic dishes at low prices, away from the tourist areas. We ate with 5 people and had starters, mains, desserts and wine and the total bill was less than $110 euros.

By coincidence we saw this little cute tasca and went inside as it looks very cute, authentic and welcoming. The service was top-notch, warm and efficient. The food really has a high quality, specially the little appetizers. The pastel de bacalhau is the best one I’ve ever eaten. I’ll be back for sure, muito obrigada ❤️

One of the best restaurants I know in Lisbon, goof food, friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere (good balance between locals and tourists), for dinner giy should book as it's popular among locals in Graça (and now also among tourists).
