Asian Lab

Restaurant

🫤 Interesting concept but takes way too long. 20 minutes average for street food is just not acceptable. Other stands are faster without compromising on quality. Feel it wasn't worth the wait... The chow mein looked very good but underwhelming. The octopus pancakes were very good. People often mention chicken, Thai, dishes, tasty, thai, Time, Asian, good, curry, market,

Ordered the vegan and chicken pad thai. Dishes well presented, but unfortunately, we found the dishes were a bit too salty, especially the chicken pad thai that we were unable to finish. Perhaps, may try other dishes and/or request reduced sodium.

Food served with poor attitude by lady at the bar. Wouldnt change ingredients in the limited menu. Poor vegan options. The “pad thai” was sweet, dry, tasteless. Big chunks of tomatoes? In a pad thai? Disgusting. If you dont like catering dont work in catering. Do something else.

Decided to visit the Time Out Market for dinner. Very busy venue, with lots of different vendors, but not many vegetarian options. Asian Lab was (I believe) the only place offering a couple of vegetarian dishes. I ordered the Vegetarian Jungle Curry - which was basically a Green Thai Curry. I didn’t have to wait too long for my food to be ready, but I was somewhat underwhelmed by the curry. I mean it was ok, but to be honest I’ve had better microwaveable ready meals! It’s a thumbs down from me and sadly I won’t be returning.

Got the brisket and shrimp baos. The brisket was nice and savory with a good balance of ingredients. The shrimp had a unique blend of flavors. However, the service was inefficient and the line moved very slowly.

One of the many eateries in the Time Out Market. We ordered the Jungle Curry and the Pad Thai (with chicken). I'm not sure what the negative reviews were about, but I found our dishes to be great. The ingredients were fresh and both dishes we had were full of flavour without being over-salted. Perhaps there is an issue of consistency? Regardless, my family of four all enjoyed these dishes. We have eaten similar dishes at many other places and this compares favourably.

The vegetable jungle curry I had at Asian lab at the Time Out market was very tasty. The flavours were incredible and the rice was delicious. Questionable vegetables in the curry though, carrot, tomatoes and some sort of chewy black thing which I think was a type of mushroom? Perhaps its traditional but who knows! The atmosphere at Time Out market is bustling and finding a seat was hard, but it was a tasty meal in an interesting place.

Every dish we tried had a burst of flavors and textures. We especially loved the pork belly hi curry with rice and the shrimp bow. The Korean burger was tasty but could add another kick of chili spice. overall excellent and highly recommend Asian lab!

Only Asian eatery in Time Out Market so no competition. All 3 dishes were too salty (brisket bao, vegetable curry & chicken pad Thai)

Food was ok, not wow. Had pad thai chicken which actually was a dissapointment. The hot chicken wings made up for the pad thai, it was was very tasty.

Slimy horrible Pad Thai tasted like out of a can from a supermarket. Dumplings tasted ok but 7€ for 4 little tiny piece of medium quality is just a rip off. Definitely a no go. The food looks really nice and delicious but tastes nothing like to Asian Cousine just slimy and horrible

After walking around the market twice I decided to order from Asian Lab. Hot Chicken Wings and Chicken Pad Thai. Both extremely good. Fresh, tasty and filling. Quite possibly the best Pad Thai I have ever eaten……

Everything was delicious and cooked to order. The kebab was unusual - served on a rich buttery bread - very very tasty. The pork noodles were spicy and fresh tasting. The pad Thai noodles were a bit gluey but overall it was still tasty.

I've asked for a very well-cooked meat. Got almost raw one, inedible

Solid food, great flavor and good quality ingredients. I had the jungle curry with chicken. The brisket boa is the best!

I honestly can't understand the negative reviews. Yes the price could be bit better for the amount of food, but the taste is absolutely out of this world. I have already eaten a lot of takoyakis and baos, and I can say those were def on top of my list. The meat was so moist and the mix in your mouth is superb.

Really good Pad Thai! Although they didn’t have the veggie dumplings, so that reduced my options (since I’m veggie). The whole atmosphere in the market is great and I love that we could all have whatever we fancy. Tables are easy to find, even though it doesn’t seem like, although the neatness was not the best.

Asian lab is another spot in Time Out Market, that has a queue all the time. We tried it even though the rates on Google way not really promising. We ordered Pad Thai shrimp and Curry Chicken. Both were quite flavourful and tasty. It is visit worthy place in TOM.

We tried all the food in the photos. The bun was 6/10, the vegan dumplings were 5/10, the wings were 3/10, the satay chicken was 5/10 and the pad thai was -100/10. It was so horrible we could not eat it. It smelled like wet dog and tasted rotten. Overall, we could not comprehend why this restaurant is at the timeout market we had to buy other food cause we were left hungry.
