    - Location. This is a fantastic location that is next to many attractions and places to eat/shop. - Clean and comfortable - windows open to allow in fresh air - safe, walkable area I didn’t dislike anything, but these are some things to note as they could potentially impact your stay here. - This is a historic building. The single rooms are quite small. If you want more space, upgrade to a double room. These had room to walk around and nice balconies. - The shower in the single rooms is quite small. If you need more shower space, I’d again recommend the double room over the single room.

I really loved my stay here. Ruben is great at het service during breakfast. The breakfast is also wonderfull. All you need. The staff is very kind in general. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated, modern yet with class. The rooms are also clean and modern, although my room was very small. It was hard to manouvre around the bed and in the bathroom. I did not mind to much because the room size is not that important when visiting a city. The location is wonderfull aswell. Close to the river and therefore in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere from here.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Soundproofed windows, blinds, noiseless AC, clean and comfortable rooms. The receptionist was kind and helpful.

Writing this for the lovely staff member we worked with. I think her name was Ieña, I didn't quite catch it. However! She was fabulous! She gave us the best recommendations and took the time to explain the city to us. Then later on she continued to check in and make sure we were having a great trip. Rooms were nice and our view was sick once you stuck your head out of the window

Hotel is well located with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was small but clean, and the shutters blocked out any noise from the street. Air conditioning was good. The bathroom was clean and the products were nice. No towel rail, only 4 pegs on the wall to hang up a hand towel and two bath towels. There is a good breakfast selection (hot & cold) and friendly staff. The coffee that we helped ourselves to from the machine was not hot enough and tasted like it was instant. However, on request the staff brought over nicer coffee from the machine at the bar.

Fantastic location, steps from main attractions. The room has high ceilings and space to store your stuff. Interior rooms are quiet. Good water pressure in the shower, nice toiletries. Personable service. Cons: the room above 201 had squeaky floors so we could hear people walking. No hair conditioner but that was our experience almost everywhere. Cheap toilet paper. Hard mattress.

This hotel is in the heart of the tourist area, which is walking distance to a lot of the sites. The free wifi was strong and great. I booked a double room, but was not prepared for how tiny the room and bathroom were. You can fit two people, but it's extremely tight and there's barely any room to put your bags and travel items. The shower was too skinny for my partner. When we arrived the shower door was broken and we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to fix it. It squeaked and wasn't all the way fixed for the next two days. The bathroom walls were all scuffed up and were not clean. Highly recommend verifying which room you booked to ensure you have enough space in case you want to upgrade to the larger room options (if there are any). You may want to avoid having a car while staying here.

The hotel has a good location near the 'Praça do Comércio.' The staff were friendly. However, the room was a bit small, making it difficult to move around the bed without hitting the TV screen. I appreciated having a coffee machine in the bedroom. Breakfast was okay, but I regretted the absence of fresh orange juice.

Very central location. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. The room was small, but to be expected for a city centre hotel. Great to have international tv stations and Rituals hand soap/shower gels in the room. The bathroom was a little grubby and outdated. We had to get maintenance to fix our shower door, but never worked properly. There was also a strange smell from the air con that you could smell in the room and hallway every so often. Like a sewage smell.

I cannot put into words how helpful this hotel was! Our apartment hotel ‘Dream Chiado’ messed up our booking and left us with no hotel for our last night in Lisbon. My Story hotel turned our day completely around with their friendly and helpful service! We got served by Fernando to begin with, he was so apologetic for the other hotels actions and had such a friendly personality overall! When we checked in we were served by Rafael and a trainee called Denise. They were both so lovely and cannot fault their service! The room was also so lovely! We had a beautiful balcony view and the rooms were so beautiful and modern! If I ever come back to Lisbon i am 100% returning to this hotel!

Just stop over for 15€ Breakfast with all what you need except salami and salmon. Pineapple was already dark brown and tasted like alcohol as strawberry yoghurt was too old or too long outside the fridge and then again inside and outside the fridge so in as long as someone ate it for breakfast. I was the lucky one and taste the bad ... The staff is friendly but not really awake up. Do not see missing glasses to replace at the table, deliver a crushed fried egg instead of an omelette but secondary delivered after complain a perfect one. Surprise... They can ... That's why just 3 from 5. I am too strict?

This is a review of the restaurant only. The people were nice and the bathrooms were clean, but that doesn't compensate for the fact the food had such poor quality for its prices. The drinks were just ridiculously expensive. One shot of rum €12. One virgin mojito €8. But the main reason my review is low is because, before leaving, I came to point out my opinion about our experience and the manager laughed on my face and wanted to interrupt me with excuses. That, for me, threw away the positive point that was 'service'. It doesn't seem like they would like to improve their food or prices, and why would they? They are in the center of Lisbon where many others will stop to eat unaware of this. But my honest advice: Please do the extra effort and go to Bairro Alto, where you will find so many hidden gems.

The location was perfectly central and easy to access by public transportation to and from the airport. The room was a cozy size and the bathroom had everything we needed. We appreciated that the windows cancelled any noise coming from the street. The staff checking us in were great. One note would be that our room wasn’t cleaned during our two night stay which would have been appreciated. Not sure if that has to be specifically requested. Otherwise a perfect place to stay in Lisbon and I would recommend.

The most incredible experience and hospitality. Inez, one of the front desk staff members was so helpful, courteous, and kind. We experienced some unfortunate travel problems and Inez was there to help us and ensure we enjoyed our time in Lisbon and at the hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and overlooked the lovely streets of Lisbon!

The food is terrible, I usually don’t like leaving reviews, but this place phased me. The prices are high and the food is flavourless. We ordered salmon in kimchi sauce, but it tasted nothing like kimchi. It tasted as if it was just salmon dipped into lemon juice . The sushi we ordered arrived on a hint platter with only 5 pieces of sushi, it just looked SAD! The rice was undercooked and the sushi had a pour taste. The wasabi arrived in a small packet that I’m pretty sure they bought in a cheap corner store. The ginger had no colour and looked like blended shrimp. It had no flavour. I wasted 30 euros in this place and it ruined my night.

The hotel is charming, walking distance from major attractions. The rooms look good, spacious and clean! There is a restaurant in the main floor for breakfast/ dinner and the food was excellent! Service is great! There is an amazing smell throughout the hotel! I stayed on this hotel during my birthday and they sent me a bottle of sparkling wine as complements! Really great!

Small, clean rooms, right in the heart of Lisbon. The staff was great, breakfast was okay (a larger buffet would of been appreciated, but quality was very good). I would recommend it and I would have no problem staying again.

INCREDIBLE location, attentive and kind staff, adorable rooms. You don't need to keep scrolling to make a decision on where to stay in Lisbon-- it really doesn't get any better than this. The location of this hotel is in the heart of the city where it's hustling and safe well into the night. I had an excellent view of the Arco da Rua Augusta and Rua Augusta from my balcony (yes, there are balconies!) and the hotel staff were so nice and always went above in beyond in answering all the excessive questions (about attractions, culture, language, transportation, etc) I asked every time I entered the hotel. During my stay, I got an email from the Portugal rail system in Portuguese about service disruption and the gentlemen at the front desk carefully read the notice and patiently translated the email to me! The kindness of the people you meet when you travel truly make a huge difference in your experience, and the kindness that MyStory Augusta staff shared with me has made that difference. Highly recommend, and to MyStory staff- muito obrigada!

Room was beautifully decorated to write ✍️ your own story' As a Muslim visitor, this is absolutely not recommended. But the Front Office staff Ms. Ines is highly professional, fully understands my values. Very empathetic by nature. She was just oozing kindness

We originally booked at My Story Hotel Ouro. But when we arrived they told us they moved us to My Story Charming Hotel Augusta without warning. When we got to check in the put us on the first floor in the tiniest room. If you are any bigger then average or below average size it would be extremely uncomfortable to stay. It was our honeymoon and we let them know in advance. I believe the room we booked at the original hotel was larger so we were upset they put us in a room smaller then a college dorm. They did leave us champagne, desert and flower petals on our bed which was very sweet. The bathroom is extremely tiny it’s hard to close the door. And we are both very skinny people. Location is great though. They also give only one room key card that needs to be used to get on the elevator, in the room, and control the electric. So we couldn’t separate and so different things or even run to the store while one stayed inside. Lastly do not use the coffee machine in the room. My husband had a cup and put the creamer that given with the pods in his coffee and ended up violently Ill within 45 min of drinking it and it ruined the end of our trip. If we were to come back to Lisbon we would definitely not stay here.

Lovely spot to stay for a city break with really accommodating staff. Location is ideal for a a trip anywhere in the city. The staff could not do more for us and we really enjoyed the complimentary drink. Really lovely room with comfy bed. Extremely friendly staff at check in. Rituals cosmetics in the room was a lovely extra! Could not recommend more!
