A wonderful experience! This hotel/apartment was such a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities made this place feel like home for me and my family. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They blew balloons up for my children and gave us excellent directions and recommendations for places to see and eat at around the city. The location was a quick and easy walk from the main train station and it was easy to get to the city center from here. I can't emphasize how pleasant our stay was. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay right near the heart of the city.

Nice room however our room had no toiletries and then on two occasions we were left without towels. Also advice given to us by the staff on getting around was not very accurate.

The only negative thing about apartment is the floor needed a good wash. Other than that everything immaculate and staff are very pleasant and seem pleased to welcome us for our recent visit. Streets are narrow but a few minutes from water front and train station. Decent supermarket in station.

Location, Location, Location - Almaria is located in Baixa between Praça Comércio (the main Praça of Lisboa) and the Time Out Cafe (a wonderful mercado with gourmet cafes). It is also located near Cais de Sodre (the train station) and Corpo Santo (the bus transfer station). It is surrounded by great restaurants and grocery markets like Pingo Doce and Mini Preco. So, like I said, great location. But, maybe more important was the friendly and professional service from Carolina and João - the front desk receptionists who patiently answered our questions and gave recommendations for places of interest. We will never forget our time in Lisboa and the wonderful time we had at Almaria.

Such nice apartments, very cute with everything you would need and the location is absolutely perfect and amazing people at the desk. Really great breakfast benefits and we used it for lunch sometimes too.

Lovely apartment situated in a very convenient location. Clean, spacious, secure, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was central and allowed for easy access to taxis, public transportation and walking to most neighborhoods. Highly recommend!

Super congested area... Very old building renovated to look new, walls and rooms talk back to you. Parking a major issue in the area and not cheap. I would look for new and better options on my next visit to the city, and there are several.... Nothing is far, it's all in walkable distance 5 to 30 mins max, nice comfortable walk.

Hugeee arpartment with lots of windows to look outside. Wasn't too old and looked as if maintained regularly. Staff were kind and provided breakfast everytime they cleaned. Bread was served in the morning, and was silent, to not disturb late-sleepers. Staff noticed our concerns about washing machines and immediatly offered a new room. They also noticed we didn't drink sparkling water, which made the stay quite close and personal.

Room is fully air-conditioned and the room is bit tiny, but okay to use. Just the problem was the bed mattress. It seems that really cheap one was used (it feels like a cheap Ikea mattress), and entire family experienced the back pain. Even I could not sleep at all on the first night. Other than this, was not a bad option.

Almaria by far exceeded our expectations! Such good taste surrounds this beautiful hotel. Great location in Chiado. Simplicity in the most elegant way. Our room was spacious, the kitchen fully equipped and spotless, so much fun and curiosity waiting for the surprise bread and pastries every morning. Best bed I’ve ever slept in any hotel. But the most important….THE STAFF. Joao and crew took care of us from beginning to end with infinite grace! Convenient WhatsApp communication at all times. From the comfort, food, and amenities we enjoyed in the apartment to the excellent location close to public transit, restaurants, shopping and sights; but the amazing staff is what truly made our stay phenomenal. A clean, lovely hotel with a modern vibe. Nice front desk staff. Loved the code system to enter both the hotel and the room (no key to lose). Appreciated the bread left on the door handle overnight. Small kitchen with coffee capsule machine. Perfect location very close to Time Out Lisbon Food Hall. Reliable wifi, despite the thick stone walls. The only negative I can think of what that the free wifi system demands your email address a couple of times a day. A very minor irritation in a lovely stay.
