I chose Dobairro Suites for the location and it is an extremely convenient location. This place is ideal for younger folks and for adventurous older folks alike. Room was clean with plenty of amenities-air conditioning was fixed temp (16c) but perfect for me. Bed comfortable and clean. Shower fine, bathroom clean but could use a little attention to detail-lamp above sink not working. Their is laundry on site-very nice amenity! Check-in and out very smooth, no issues. Now-to these nasty reviews about noise….yes it is very noisy street-this street is party central. However, the windows muffle about 75-80% of the noise. I came equipped with ear plugs and slept very comfortably. To be fair-you need to do your homework and understand what part of town this is and understand that every night is like a holiday here-that’s not the owner’s fault. I would return here for a stay because i feel i got a good value for my money and love the convenience of the location.

A winning location in the heart of Barrio-alto. Great apartment in the beautiful Bairro Alto neighborhood. We took the studio (not too big but very good a couple) with a very nice balcony facing the street. Apartment is well equipped and very clean. Filipa and Mauro (the host) were very nice and did their best efforts to give us the apartment 2H head of time. Also, we received notification with exact instructions on the place prior to our arrival. Unlike some of the reviews, we hardly heard noises from the outside as the apartment has a double glazing glass but take into consideration that this part of the city is not for those who seek quite, this is alive and kicking neighborhood. One thing on the negative side is the noise from the nearby apartment (walls are probably thin) but the owners can not anticipate each guests behavior

I recently stayed at "Do Bairro" in Lisbon and had a mixed experience. The room was spacious with a small kitchen and bathroom, and the early check-in option was convenient. The hosts were easily accessible, and the check-in process went smoothly. However, it's important to note that the noise levels in the area were incredibly high, especially during the night. The walls seemed to shake from the noise, making it not possible to sleep before 3 am. It was hell. The bathroom had some cracks and appeared unclean, requiring the use of flip-flops for a comfortable shower. The hotel staff could be loud and the open office door added to the noise. Furthermore, the aftermath of the nearby nightlife was unpleasant, with a lack of cleanliness in the surrounding area. If you value peace and quiet, I recommend considering these factors before booking "Do Bairro" in Lisbon.

We had a very comfortable 4 nights at DoBairrosuites. Fantastic central location, walking distance to main attractions otherwise just a short walk to the tram line or train station. Apartment was very clean, spacious, had laundry facilities downstairs and wifi was great. However can be noisy late at night up until 1 or 2am due to all the bars downstairs. Although this didn't bother us at all as the apartment does a satisfactory job blocking out most the sound from the street. If you're a really light sleeper you may have issues. Otherwise would definitely recommend!

Overall good location and room. The nightlife on the street is pretty loud until 2am even on weekdays. Great spot if you want to stay up and party.

Very good location, but not suitable for families as the night life is crazy, full of parties, very very noisy and you'll have a chance to fall asleep after 2:00pm.. Amazing for youngsters and you are exactly in the heart of Lisbon ❤🥂

Great place to stay in Lisbon. Especially our apartment nr 30 (third floor) with the balcony was perfect! Because of the double glazed windows we had no problems with any noise from the lively streets below. Apartment was very clean and everything we needed was there. The owner and staff were very friendly and cooperative.
