Not a very well equiped station, dividing the neighborhood with a wall, with a system of long and confusing corridors, travelators and stairs, with insuficient protection from rain and bad weather. On some transportation maps, it shows that there is a connection to the subway stations of Roma and Areeiro, forming a transportation hub. This is only partially true: both subway stations are equally distanced to the train station, but there is no direct connection and one has to walk along and cross streets to get to them. It is, nevertheless, a convenient station along a circular rail line that connects eastern (Oriente) and southern (Alcantara) Lisbon quickly. Not accessible to wheelchairs.

With very little in the way of resting areas or cover from rain or cold Not all lines are easily accessible by escalator and expect escalators to be stopped regularly Elevator access exist to cover mobility access Don't expect to have anyone at the ticket booths as the station is not regularly staffed - you will need to use the automated sellers Visit exclusively to get on/off a train, plan ahead as delays may occur Maybe pre-purchase the ticket

Train station, with two entries: one up from Av. De Roma and the other underground, near areeiro. In both there's a board with the line and time for all trains. Those take you to Sintra or Oriente, and to Margem sul (the other side of the river)

Well, Roma-Areeiro is a train station which is situated in the city of Lisbon. Honestly, it is very accessible. It is usual to see lot's of passengers here. We can easily purchase tickets. We can pay by cash and card!! I like to travel here. 🙏

My mom taught me that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. Only star is from the ticket sales people who actually speak English. This place is dead at 7 pm. Nothing and nobody to help you. No public bathrooms which cost money even when they happen to be open. The elevators are a disgrace. If you can avoid it, don't go there. Sorry mum.

The trains are not always on time. Thus, its difficult to find staff to ask questions and the ticket shop has a bad schedule.

Needs better signage, and could do with a complete overhaul/ pressure cleaning. Seems like all the stations in Lisbon have gone downhill badly ( dirty-rundown- escalators out of action) lift your game Lisbon!!!!!

Horrible station! Most of the the time the train to Sintra doesn’t even come and there are no posted signs or announcements despite google saying normal schedule. Staff could care less Station is dirty, not enough benches to sit on and no one seems to care. Totally ghetto I would avoid Same train frim Rossio and it actually comes.

Bad maintenance. Ticket machine Fertargus most of the time not working or super slow. And they have only one! machine! It happens many you can't buy a ticket for the Fertargus train! The Fertargus ticket box is closed. CP vending machine are not that much better... There are 2 of them.. But if one is working of then you're lucky. At least CP ticket box is still operational (business hours). Information screens on the platform almost impossible to read or not working. And in general too many strikes... So no train will show up at all.

The location is in between two metro stations. Very inconvenient. You in the risk of losing your train (if it arrives at all) as the walkways to the station are very long. Dirty and badly maintained (as the rest of the CP stations in Lisbon area )

It's a busy train station that offers travel options towards Sintra, Almada and Azambuja.

You can count on the escalators never working outside 9 to 17 or so and on the station agents to level false accusations on customers. Specifically, to the tall CP agent with the buttcut hair and long sideburns in all gray: you shouldn't level false accusations against customers, wag your finger and shout 'liar'. You are flat wrong. Fix your machines or get a new job.

Not easy access, elevators and escalators don't run, they say they are saving energy? Bathrooms are not sanitary. Smells of human feces

This is a typical train station. The metro Arriero is 7-9 minutes walking distance from here.

Bathrooms should be open to the public and always have someone nearby to maintain hygiene!
