Very friendly staff, lots of retro style. Floor / ceiling noise can come through. Room facing the main street can be noisy at night. Excellent showers, great breakfast.

Really The best hotel in Lisbon, very nice spaces, large space to spend time, fresh breakfast and friendly service :)) anddd so good localization! Unfortunately, two small cons: no vegetables at breakfast and the second, a little larger for the lack of the ability to pick up keys in the night - unfortunately, we do not affect the time of arrival of aircraft. ours additionally had 2 hours of delay so at 4 am we landed in Lisbon ..... a pity, a pity. But... for sure WE COME BACK HERE :)

The location is Excellent, across from the sea, with lovely, helpful staff—clean, spotless rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast is available self serve, full fridge and fresh fruits. What a cute and well decorated Hostel. Yes there was construction going next door but with the windows closed the noise was reduced. My concern was the area has some rundown buildings and graffiti. When we checked in, and late at night, the entire alley stunk like urine up to the front entrance! The smell carried through the entrance up to the second floor of the building. I loved the stay here, great please but the stinknis unacceptable. Not the hostels fault. Too bad! I would hose off the entrance at least 2 times a day!

Very friendly staff. They helped me with a lot of details about Lisbon, including sitting with me to go through surf live cams. :) They accommodated an error in booking agent so well, even before I had to ask. The common area is very spacious, the rooms are simple but neat and the shared bathrooms are clean and plenty. They have a cat in residence. Be prepared for some street noise, also the rooms have poor sound insulation. There was a mixed group of other residents, backpackers, couples of various ages. The location is very good.

Lost Lisbon::Cais House is located in a spot that makes enjoying Lisbon so easy. Just minutes from the water, the Time Out Market, and the Cais do Sodre metro/ferry/train station. Each room is named after a Lisbon neighborhood, and I stayed in the Mouraria room, which was lovely. It has a large bedroom and another good-sized sitting room, and is near the three shared bathrooms. I never had a problem with the shared bathrooms, always available. The window is on a main street, which would occasionally be loud in the wee hours with summer revelry. The floor had some lovely common areas, as does the main reception and dining area. The breakfast options are delightful, fresh bread and fruit, meat and cheese, a selection of cereals, and coffee, tea, and water. I would stay here again.

Great located, nice host, very charming. I guess reasonable prized but not really rooms with bathroom available. The cheapest room had nothing but a bed, a table and some hangers... And wasn't actually that cheap.. Charming breakfast and that all day long. But the living room was always very cold..

The room was very nice and large, the staff is very nice and they waited for me because I had problems with my flight. You can have breakfast until late in the common area that is very cosy. Great position and next to the train station if you want to visit Cascais.

Nice hostel. We stayed there twice during our visit to Portugal. The common area is very nice and the breakfast is great. The staff are very friendly and the bathroom is good.

I went to Lost Lisbon to attend Creative Morning and I can say that it felt so homey and comfortable there. I didn't see the bedrooms, but the main "living room" was nice. It's in and old and renovated building.

Elevated hostel experience at best for the price of a hotel Pros: large room, might have a glimpse of the ocean, quiet, decent location (near Time Out Market but far from city center), daily housekeeping, good water pressure Cons: no air conditioning, bathroom is private but detached (separated by common hallway), breakfast is a joke (have to cook your own eggs, fruits are not pre-cut, no one to serve/cook hot food), toiletries include hand and body soap (no shampoo or conditioner), lots of stairs to climb and no elevator

It’s a cross between a hotel and a bed and breakfast. It’s not an upgraded hostel. There’s a common area like a hotel has a sitting room or a breakfast area. It’s just more welcoming and people talk more to each other. It’s decorated by artists. Rooms have a minimalist feel. Good pillows! I find it perfect. If it were a bit cheaper, I’d come to place like this to stay a couple weeks. Rooms and bathroom are large, very clean. Some possible negatives (just not for me) is it’s 2 floors up by stairs (many of them), no A/C (a fan) and no TV. The host/manager is nice and accessible. Great location.
