I'm a fan of IPA and I'm German. This place had two surprises for me. They definitely have one of the world-wide best IPAs I ever tasted. Hence, I had to drink more than one... And then... they also served authentic pretzels far far away from my home country which I never ran into all across the world. What a great pleasure to enjoy this place. Summary: If you like IPA and pretzels, this is a must-visit place. PS: IPA life hack: Tastes even better the more you drink :-)

Great microbrewery that has some good beer and provides samples before committing a full glass. Seating is on picnic benches right outside on the sidewalk and when we went on a Saturday night it was a nice mix of locals with some foreigners such as ourselves. Really enjoyed the Most Wanted IPA that was hoppy without being too bitter.

I found AMO on Google maps. I was getting nervous after asking a couple of local people if they new about AMO. They had not heard of the brewery. Fortunately, on our last night in Lisbon we stopped by. It was a very nice experience.

They have great beer! I’m from Portland, Oregon, where we are known for IPA’s, AMO is great and their IPA’s are great! My partner had a different light style beer, which is also very delicious. I’m sure all the other beers are amazing.! They speak English, which is also super helpful. Are the staff are Rad! Thanks!

Awesome beer, very good price for the quality of the drinks, and there's something to try for every taste. The staff is kind and welcoming. It's a small place at the corner of a block, not suitable for a group of more than 6-8 people, but perfect for an evening with a few close friends.

Cool spot, very small. If you are a crafted Beer person, check it off your list while you are in Lisbon, but limited seating and all the smoking may keep you from staying long. The beer ea was good though.

Looking for a proper beer in Lisbon that isn't Super Bock or Sagres? AMO might be small but the beer is absolutely great and the staff are very welcoming. Lots of choice from sours to IPA's / DIPA. Even have fresh pretzels if you get hungry! A great experience in a great location, worth a walk from the center of Lisbon.

Love this place, great beer (them or Lince is my favorite in Portugal I think), nice folks, cool spot. Like Lince, their beers are delicious and creative but balanced and not fad chasing. Nice mix of styles. They’ve also got some good craft cider available and wine too. A few seats inside but most of the seating is on picnic tables on the sidewalk. Very casual atmosphere Really nice staff, English always spoken I think… crowd is usually 50/50 tourists/expats and locals… most of a young, hip sort. they also make breads and pretzels!

AMO is a wonderful craft brewery serving excellent beers made on site. Perfect location for a small group to meet.

What an amazing place, beer and people. Thank you for the most wonderful evening drinking fantastic beer. Our particular favourites were the pale ale and the porter. The staff and locals are so friendly. We had a real night to remember that will stay with us forever.

Fantastic micro brewery, delicious beer and lovely staff. Great range of beers for all tastes, really impressed with the creativity and how balanced the beers are. Even if you don’t make it to the brewery, keep an eye out for AMO beer in Lisbon and try some. Highly recommend for anyone who likes a great beer!!
