Avoid Lisboa Card unless you are a museum or tram freak. Ask for alternative routes to the places you want to go because they keep saying the same things to every tourist which has the result to overcrowd places like trams... Taxis in Lisboa are really cheap clean and fast. I wasted three days in the overcrowded busses... No need

Nice town to explore

Opinion concerning this pretty Portuguese city that is Lisboa! The tourist office… we don’t care! Personally, I remember the picturesque side of this city. And a certain art of living. Which is certainly evolving (not necessarily in the right direction), with this forced march in a Europe in perpetual motion...

Awful . 0 stars if I could . Bored people who send seem like they are trying to as little as possible . They were almost offended when we asked them where we could purchase tickets for Fado. Pointed us in a random direction and told us they were not the tourism office! Incredulous.

They close at 6pm, too. Not 7pm. Please change the opening hours. Too lazy just like Ask me Lisboa.

The staff said sao jorge castle open on 12/31. so I bought lisbon card and went, BUT it's closed! I wanna get refund...

We went to 3 different tourist information centers because the first one no longer exists, the second one was closed, and only the 3rd one was occupied and gave information

My first impression of Lisboa was a very unfriendly public transport inspector, my second impression was an equally unfriendly toilet attendant. In retrospect, I can understand it well, because this is where I became aware of the term overtourism and its consequences. Unfortunately, the negative events continued - but for me this is only a snapshot in this wonderful country.

2 counters open out of 6. Waiting time much too long to simply buy a Lisboncard! 45 minute wait! A word of advice come 15/20 minutes before opening to be the first 😁

The place was closed when we got there. The tourist information at Santa Appolonia station was closed, but had a sign saying that this one would be open until 20:00. Wrong.

No one spoke French and not friendly at all. Our English is beginner so..... Disappointed by the welcome especially at this time (March 20) when there are not too many people. Fortunately, the people who drive the TOUC TOUC and who speak French gave us information even if we didn't take a tour with them. A big thank you to these people. 👏👍

We bought the Lisbon card for almost €100 and received neither a proper explanation nor a travel guide. The saleswoman wasn't particularly polite either.

No disabled access and not even a map of the local transport network

I entered and just as quickly left, nothing to do with the welcome of the Portuguese. This office is chilling and not at all modern and inviting. Go your way.

Not as helpful as we thought they would be .

No one able to provide correct information We asked for the opening hours of the decorative arts museum and the conditions for visiting the workshops. The opening dates provided were not the correct ones and she told us that we should not book for workshop visits. Result 2 trip for nothing and the third time not having reserved the workshop visit no access. And what's more, no effort to speak French

Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Google does a better job of making recommendations.

Please tell foreigners who ask you about taxis that to MAKE SURE TO CHECK IF TAXI TURNS THE TAXIMETER ON before your ride!!! Most helpful piece of info tourists need!!!
