The restaurant is definitely a good tip if you enjoy Indian food. It even offers some typical foods that are normal not found in Europe. It has a good selection of vegetarian options. Pricing is more than fair, and the service is very friendly. The space is small, so on weekends, a reservation makes sense. There are a lot of public parking spaces as this is a residential area. But it can be reached by underground or bus with a 5min walk.

The garbanzo bean curry was really good, but I found it boring as it was a single dish with no garnish and no small complements at all, so I put the salad that came with the kids' menu, Naan and rice on my plate. The chicken on the kids' menu was sprinkled with chili peppers and my child stopped eating after one bite. I told this to the female waitress, who went to the kitchen to check and came back and told me, "It seems the person who cooked it did not change the spoon from the dish before it, so it got mixed up." And then she left. They did not bring a new dish. So i had to remove the red chili from the food. I will never go back to this restaurant again.

Had the Malaee Kofta and it was delicious. Very creamy, light and smooth, but the balls could be a bit more savory and pronounced. Still very nice, though. The rice was also great. I had a samosa and it was also very nice but I think that it could pair very well with Naan. Their mango lassi is superb. Small place, but comfy and warm atmosphere for couples or trios.

Really delicious food and excellent service. The service personal is fluently in English and has a great knowledge. The food is the perfect combination of spices and you can really taste, that the chef knows, what he’s doing!! I can really recommend this place to anyone!

The food here is amazing and reasonably priced! It's a small restaurant with a nice ambience. Customer service is very good too and the waiters ask you how spicy (or not) you want your food. Would highly recommend.

This small, but very cute and comfortable restaurant is a real treasure in the streets of Lisbon! We were here today and will definitely come back. Best Indian I've tried in Lisbon! The butter chicken was very tasty, the chicken samosa had a great flavor and of course the cheese garlic Naan is to die for!! Definitely recommend.

Quaint restaurant serving South Asian fare - highly recommend for anyone visiting. Great selection of curries, breads and rice's. Would recommend the lamb karahi and eating it with your hands (it's just not the same with a knife and fork!). Appreciated the standalone sink at the back to wash hands before eating Friendly, efficient staff and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend

Nice Indian restaurant. I bet many could say that it’s not that authentic, but it doesn’t matter when food is tasty. Prawn Karai was really good, though would be nice to have more prawns there, so dont expect these big portions that usually Indian restaurants have. Naan bread was also good. Overall it’s nice to have such restaurant near your home. And remember it’s always at least a little spicy even when you are asking for not spicy!

This place was such a nice surprise. The place is immaculate. The staff is excellent. The food is great!! If you ask for spice, they really deliver. I had the Chana masala and it was superb. My husband had the lamb biryani, and it was a bit unexpected with a crunchy topping and raisins scattered around-really elevated flavor profile. We had a wonderful masala tea to close off the meal. We would come back here time and time.

On a cold rainy night, the hot chai hit the spot. The food was fine, but not spicy enough, even though we ordered the hottest things on the menu -- definitely not aimed at an Indian palate. Flavors were good, balanced masalas and nice ginger accent. The portion sizes were just right. Kitchen was quick.

Less busy at 2:40 pm when I walked in for lunch. Prawn Curry, Jeera Rice and added the Port Wine just to taste. Under €20 and a light but wholesome meal. Good Nepalese restaurant to try in Lisbon if you’re visiting.

The food tasted amazing and the service was immaculate as always. Great and quiet place to have a romantic meal or a small group of friends. The prices are fair for the quality of the food and service but be ready to pay 15€-20€ per person (it can be more if you go crazy on the appetizers, desserts or drinks). We payed 40€ for two main dishes, one plain rice, one bread (naan), two special drinks (mango lassi) and an expresso. Definitely a price worth paying 🥰 However if you book it through TheFork App you might be able to get a 30% discount. Take the opportunity 😌

Cute little indian restaurant in a tiny little side street. The food was aaaamazing. I have quite high standards and have cooked with a friend from india on occasion, and this place really felt authentic When I saw they had pickle on the menu I just had to try it. What can I say: it was the real deal! Great Naan (garlic!) and Roti too. Not to forget about the main course: Chicken Shaslik. Super yummy. Especially the veggies. In summary, too much, too good food!

We were looking for a good place to eat in the surroundings of our hotel. Gurkha provided a great experience of Indian cuisine at a very reasonable price! Moreover, the waitress helped us to choose suitable meals for lactose intolerance. Much recommended!

Delicious food - at a very good price. My Chicken Chili was delicious, and my friends were very happy with their Paneer Tikka Massala & Chicken Tikka Massala. Very good Naan as well.

We were greeted warmly by the staff who served us with a smile. The food was outstanding and the portion sizes are just right. Highly recommended for great Indian food. Try the chicken Karai.

Actually a little disappointed with our overall experience here. We ordered take out and had it delivered. While the delivery was on time (not fast or slow), where we disappointed with what we were delivered. We had ordered over 130 Euro worth of dishes from the restaurant in order to feed a large family. When the curries (Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken) arrived, they were more like a soup with very few bits of chicken in them. The flavours were great, so with the sauce we were able to pour it over the abundant rice we had, but we found this a very disappointing experience that will leave us reconsidering this restaurant as a viable option for a good meal.

In all aspects this restaurant hit the mark, the food was amazing both in terms of taste and quality(so good we came back after one day!) Can't fault the service (which was professional and friendly) or value either. One of the best dining experiences I've had the pleasure to have. If you're in Lisbon and are interested in Nepalese/Indian cuisine it's a must

Great place and everybody knows it. Come to dinner early to get a seat. It was packed when we arrived. Also, it’s a bit tight, so wouldn’t be my first choice for a date. I can recommend the Mango lassi, Prawn Karai. The naan was made of a strange dough (pizza?), still good but not authentic. Very good and polite service.

Really delicious Indian food in Lisbon! This seemed like a very local place, with great food and service. They were helpful when asking questions about allergies and double checked everything. The food was so good, we forgot to take any pictures!

We have eaten Indian food all over Portugal and the US and this is some of the best Indian food we have ever had. Our compliments to the chef!

Everything we ate here was so delicious! Especially the tikka masala and samosas. Our servers were great and the prices are fair. It was a long meal but considering it was a Friday night and the food came steadily, it was quite alright

This is the second time to this restaurant. We concluded that this is one of the best Indian restaurant in Lisbon. We ordered a prawn banana and chicken sarai. The prawn banana was so fresh with a lot of banana odor while the chicken sarai was full of different kind to flavour (onion, tomato, spice etc). The dinner time was full house. Thefork offers 30pct discount on the main menu👍🏻

Wonderful restaurant. Service was prompt and very pleasant. Great suggestion on the chicken jalfrezi; it was spicy but not overpowering. Delicious garlic naan and samosa. Here on a 3 day trip and may make it back for round 2.

Food was absolutely delicious. The best Indian I've had in a while. Only thing is temperature could be lower inside. I was sweating! Otherwise tasty food and very courteous staff.

Very good space, Plenty of space between aisles, enough open boxes, cleanliness for now good+ I hope it stays that way. I recommend. It's still the same, always full and they've improved a lot in cleaning, excellent!

The food was just AMAZING 🤩 We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Dhal Makhani, Saag Paneer, 2 garlic naans and a rice. Magical experience!! If we lived in Lisbon we would be there at least once a week 🤣 The people serving us were also very nice… Fantástico

Fantastic! We ate here twice. Friendly, welcoming staff. Food came quickly. Clean premises. Great garlic naan bread. Tandoori mixed grill was sizzling and delicious. It turned heads when the server brought it out. The curries tasted fresh, and the raita complimented everything. Too bad were leaving Lisbon soon, or we'd eat here again. Highly recommended!
