I've left shoes here for resoling with the promise of two week delivery. I've been warned by friends that they have consistently had to wait for their shoes longer than one month and, sure enough, I've now been waiting one month too. Please consider being more honest about turnaround times. Even if the average is two weeks, which sounds unlikely given these reports, consider giving more clarity about the frequency and duration of delays one might expect!

Yupik has an excellent selection of outdoor gear for most activities. Great for shoes and outdoor wear as well as equipment for climbing, hiking etc. Unfortunately not a full range of shoes, but some top brands and models. No shoes in larger men's sizes. Poor customer awareness, no hellos, good days or can I help you. The staff of three seem to be in their own world huddled around the cashier's desk. The store is located outside of Lisbon centre, so a commitment to travel there.

We have been searching for outdoor camping gear throughout Spain and Portugal! This place was by far the best! The man was lovely and the stock was high quality. Definitely recommend.

Attended a private outdoor climbing session at Sintra. The instructer was skilled and knowledgeable not only on climbing but on tourism and the natural environment. Thus, all of his talks were interesting and helped me to get to know about the area. His instructions were also very well constructed. He showed me around the area when we got to the climbing spot and let me try out from the ones with just the right difficulty. He gave advice at just the right timing and with just the right amount, which left me the fun to figure out how to climb a problem by myself but not be too frustrated. I was able to try many boulders and finished the session very satisfied. In total, highly recommended to those climbing around Lisbon.

Probably the only outdoor store in Portugal where you can find a compression bag. I could not find a compression bag in Porto and Lisbon, people did not know what it is until I went to Yupik. Strongly recommend, they are well equiped with good material.

A great outdoors shop with helpful service. The man working there assisted us in many ways and gave us plenty of time to try things out and explain things in English. We were shopping for air mattresses and we even got a discount off the prices in the story which matched the website.

They should improve their expectation management. I was told the delivery time for the service of resoling my climbing shoes would be only 2 weeks. It took a little longer, but while I was waiting for it, I got really frustrated by being left in the dark. Add on top of that the experience of lots of acquaintances that had massive delays and you get a very unsatisfied customer while you could only be managing better their expectations.

Very honest people there, got some outdoor equipment and had great help with finding the right stuff for me. They have a great variation in comparison to their small shop

Excellent shop with a lot of climbing gear, basicly all you need. But on top to the well equiped shop, the staff is amazing an helpfull, giving tips an places to go!!! They even ordered gear which was not on stock and we recevied it 2 days later, big thanks to the yupikteam and specialy to carlos! Go and ceck it out! We ended up to go on a guided daytrip (learn and improve lead climbing) with them, "kimie kon" & "carlos" , super guides, happy people, incredible climbers...if you have the chance, do it! 1000 stars thx guy....🙏

A different store, where you feel the outdoor athmosphere and adventure for all kind of sports.I found very interesting sportswear and gadgets for hiking, from shoes to hats, for varied climates and mountain. Worth a visit!!!!

Bad service, super disappointing. We were looking for one hour at the shoe selection and no one came to offer help. The two ladies at the cash desk were too busy with their phones. Unfortunately not recommended and next time we rather shop directly online. Going to a shop is because we need help and service. But if there is no service, we can also shop online for even better prices. Hopefully our experience was just a bad day and other customers are more happy.

This review is for the outdoor rock climbing session. Overall the experience was fantastic and I highly recommend! Arriving in Portugal, I started my trip in Sagres looking forward to climbing the cliffs. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and I was unable to climb in Algarve. AGA recommended I climb through YUPIK or Sintra Climbing when I head up to Lisbon. Sintra Climbing was on holiday and unable to accommodate, but YUPIK was available and I'm glad. I was in a bit of difficult situation as I was on my way to Cascais, but the ideal climbing was in Arrabida. I asked if they could meet me on the cliffs of Cascais and they obliged. Upon arriving for my session, my instructor Joao Santos had already surveyed the conditions. It would be impossible to climb here. The sea water was crashing on the rock, the winds blowing inland and the rock was wet. Undeterred he said we should drive an hour to Arrabida to accomplish what we set out for. Upon arriving to Arrabida, he took me to a wonderful crag that apparently appeared after the Great Lisbon Earthquake of 1755. It had split this amazing limestone into two faces that created a canyon; a great place for an outdoor beginner, such as myself with stunning views. I asked that I be taught some basic lead climbing techniques while also doing some challenging climbing and that is exactly what we did. I didn't send the 6a+ but I did have a wonderful time thanks to Joao Santos and YUPIK. I would consider it a success, since after the climbing Joao and I grabbed a beer in his neighborhood.
