Impressive and unusual collection of international art across centuries presented in a cool setting and with a pleasant cantine as well. Museums can be boring or over specialised or too intellectual - this one strikes a great balance of providing and overview and focusing on some extraordinary styles and eras. I particularly liked the spacious presentation of ceramics and carpets which is not so common.

Even if you don't want to visit the museum or arts centre, it is definitely worthwhile to pass by the building and its iconic gardens. It is a nice place to cool down during the hot summer days

Their classical music concerts tend to be worth it. They have various rooms, with gorgeous views for the garden. Thoughtful interior design, with warm colors, and comfortable sittings. If one has the time, would also recommend going for a walk in their garden.

A gem of a museum! Anyone who loves artifacts and art should not miss this jewel when visiting Lisbon! The grounds are beautiful and the museum restaurant is quite good and very reasonable.

Nice Muséum. Very few pictures cos it's apparently forbidden?!?!!? Reason why the 4 stars only. Art and culture need to be displayed and shared to be more widely spread. When the curators of the old Ary world understand this, they will be in a much better situation.

The park is very beautiful and very scenic. The cleanliness of the park seems perfect. Cozy and quiet environments for spending time can be found in this park. The experience of seeing beautiful ducks, especially when they pass by the chickens, is very eye-catching and lovely. The designer and builder of this park has created a beautiful and memorable work of his own. Be sure to try walking and sitting in a cozy and secluded corner in this park in the evening or early morning. This park gives you freshness and newness.Visiting the museum in this park will also make your visit more productive.

Beautiful place, with a nice garden accessible for free even if you don't go to the museum. The permanent collection is very wide. But in order to access to the temporary expositions is better to go very early cause there is the risk to get in a 2 hours queue.

Three lines on a page is not art. A stick protruding from the floor is not art. Two stones on the floor is not art. Stacked chairs is not art.

The brutalist building is contrasted by one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve seen. The way they landscaped the trees and plants make you feel like every corner is a “secret garden.” Great place to visit and escape a bit from the city noise.

Lovely art gallery with a gorgeous garden. Really lively to sit and read or have a picnic in after you wander around the museum. Fantastic collection.

Fantastic architecture. It may feel quant to some since it is in the 1950ies modern style. But the whole place has a fantastic atmosphere and is done so well that one cannot help but like it. The exhibit spaces are very nice - spacious and welcoming. The temporary exhibit - themed on mirrors in art - was well curated. The permanent exhibit has objects and arts from the etruscans to 20th century but two Rembrandts and two Turners make it all worth while.

Spectacular but easy to navigate and very accessible museum. The story of the founder and donor (and also collector) is remarkable and if you enjoy museums, art and history (including, but not limited to, Rembrandt, Money, Manet, Rubens and John Singer Sargent, among others,) the Gulbenkian is not to be missed.

A complex dedicated to culture and art. The construction is a work of art, of which we usually only get a glimpse, as most of it is below ground level. Despite its age, it continues to surprise. I leave unusual images. Visit!

Located not far from our hotel in a beautiful park. The pictures and sculptures on display are really worth seeing! The entry price was okay, we got a discount because we had the Lisbon ticket, you should take a look and spend some time in the cafe at the park.

I went there for the Herge exhibition. It was really good! They have the original storyboards made by Herge of Tintin! All of them are original work. A small fee of €5 for entry. Short film of herge (interview) worth the visit !

Excellent foundation pro science and auditorium. They have helped the deveploment of Portugal science and research with more than money and influence. Their museum is amazing and offera a myriad of attractive and informative displays for kids and adults. The auditorium is huge and capable of allocating well over 1000 people. Music plays well and protection screen adds to the boke effect.

The garden, the museum, the auditorio, but above all the legacy of the Gulbenkian space in favor of the words, arts and freedom of speech. This concrete buildings are balanced with the and for the environment, it's an old and unique space in Portugal.

Amazing foundation with beautiful gardens and a great museum. I attended a conference here and the facilities were qute good. Some of the conference rooms have great massive glass walls looking out into the gardens (which is very nice - sometimes a little distracting when kids are playing in the gardens -maybe I need to learn to concentrate more.)

One of the most amazing museum i have visited in my life. Fantastic collection, from antiquity to 21st century. BUt what really amazed me the most is the way these objects are displayed in a simple and harmonious way. In some museums it is very easy to be overwhelmed by the number of displayed objects where as here, you can just appreciate each one of the pieces displayed.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. We spent a wonderful time there, roaming from place to place, from Asia to Manet, from Persia to Burne-Jones and Eropean furniture to Lalique. More explanation would be interesting but the sheer quality of the selected objects and their diversity was enough to fill me with a wonder I only felt in NY's Met - the human scale allowing to span the whole place in two densely packed hours. A must-see.
