Twenty minutes later he opens the door and called me in - still no mask!!! It turns out he's French and doesn't speak Portuguese(!), and only a certain level of English. Since this was a follow up appointment for me, I was presenting the results of some tests that were in Portuguese, which obviously he wasn't able to help with. I wasted a brief 30 minutes of my life with this. I believe some of the other doctors at this clinic are good, but if you get assigned to this Dr. Langin, I suggest you choose another clinic.

Bad experience - first of all, the doctor was 2 hours late, with the circumstances that i told them i'm not feeling well. At first they said to wait for 45 minutes, than for another 30, then another. If i knew at first i would have find a different clinic. - the lady at the reception, Ana, has been acting very arrogant and rude the entire time. - lastly, Google Ad adverties it as "walk in gynecologist, emergency" which is nowhere near the truth. There's no such thing you need to wait for a normal appointment. We got appointed to q generalist instead. Poor experience for a private clinic which has a very surprising 5 star rating here. Update after the owner's reply: As I said, i was not a walk-in patient, but had an appointment at 11 a.m. I totally understand if a doctor is late, anyone can have unexpected issues, but the way Ana handled the situation with a continous arrogance was definetely not right. I saw the doctor at 12 45 pm.

They are just after your money and don't care how much discomfort they cause by giving you necessary tests to get that money. I booked in for a test my doctor in australia advised I needed. I couldn't get it done in australia as I was leaving, so I booked it here as soon as I moved to Portugal. I told them exactly what I needed and they told me they could do it. I had this conversation with the receptionist AND the doctor. During my visit, the test didn't seem to be what I asked for, so I asked to double check and she advised that it was definitely the right test. A week later, after I paid quite a bit of money, I got an email and was advised I needed to go to the public hospital for the test I actually asked for as they don't do it there. When I confronted them and said that I felt like they had scammed me, they sent me a generic email saying they will "investigate it". This three months ago. Needless to say, I never heard back from them despite all my following up. Being scammed is never nice, but in this particular occasion it was particularly stressful as in order for them to scam me out of my money, I had to undergo an unnecessary, very uncomfortable test. Very unethical.

Once the presentations have been made, as a preamble the Dr asks us about my son's vaccination schedule, in particular to find out whether or not he has received a vaccine against the papillomavirus. Knowing the number and severity of the side effects of this vaccine, I told him that I am not in favor of it, especially to treat a female problem which, moreover, is not related to health. public for girls (in fact, cervical cancer is classified as a rare disease which can be detected simply by smear and therefore easily treated preventively) and even less so for boys! Dr. Abada notes my objection but continues his argument by listing the risks for girls and boys of not getting vaccinated against the papillomavirus. I can't say enough wonderful things about this clinic. My husband and I were traveling through Portugal when I became ill with what I believed to be a very bad sinus infection. I decided I needed to seek medical attention before we headed to The Algarve because I thought I needed an antibiotic. We were able to book and appointment online for the next morning. We were greeted promptly and after we checked in at the front desk waited a few minutes to see the doctor. The doctor was very thorough and suggested we run a Covid test which came back positive and promptly passed out masks to everyone in the office. At no time did she make me feel bad or ashamed for walking around Lisbon with Covid. They also tested my husband who tested negative. I was given a prescription for pain (Paracetamol) and an antihistamine. I was also given documentation to provide to my travel insurance. All for €90!! A few weeks later my travel insurance requested the doctor complete a Physicians Statement which I forwarded to the clinic. I will admit that I did not expect the clinic to complete the document at all but they completed the form and sent it to the insurance company in less than 48 business hours. Getting sick on vacation is difficult but if you are in Lisbon and need a doctor I would not hesitate to head over to Alegria Medical Centre!!

I received the best care at Alegria clinic. I delevoped a very bad infection on a new tattoo. Initially, i met with Dr. Azevedo, who prescribed the antibiotics i needed, then i was passed on to Sofie D. Over the course of a week (5 visits), Sofie diligently cleaned and removed the infection. She was very thorough, yet gentle at the same time and over the 5 visits, was friendly and caring. I highly recommend this clinic. And if you happen to require Sofie's care, you will be in excellent hands.

Went here for a consultation I booked at 5pm. Unfortunately, due to my job I couldn't be there at 5pm I reached around 5.15 to 5.20 pm. Upon reaching the medical center and speaking to the receptionist we were asked to wait. There were other people who came in and the receptionist kept sending them. I do understand that everyone has booked an appointment and also they pay the same amount of money as I do. We waited nearly an hour and left the center when we were leaving my husband approached the Receptionist and said that he wishes to cancel the appointment only then the lady was like I'm sorry sir it because you were late... Well, it would cost nothing for her to empathise with us to come to us and tell that we have to wait a little longer as they had to work out other appointments. We do understand and respect other people's appointments but never been treated this way at any clinic in Lisbon. We have been to different clinics where we were once delayed a few minutes but the staff made sure to send us in after one of the appointments which was booked after us. Its truly dissapointing as it seemed to us like they were treating us differently mostly people who are visiting here are French so I guess they give priority to them over others!!!!! And now the admins will come here replying saying that it was our fault and that's how they work but is that's what they have to say I'd say that you are truly dissapointing this is not how the medical industry works. You never know why someone can be late for an appointment so don't treat people differently just because they were late. I've been down with fever for 3 days which is why I had to approach your medical center and now im left waiting for another hospital. It was a waste of my time and also physically tiring while being sick.

I had been sick with ear, throat, chest pain, cough and congestion . I went to see a doctor and I was not completely satisfied with my check up but I thought, it is just a different doctor you are used too. He prescribed something in case I had a fever, allergy pill and nose spray, I asked for the cough and he said what he prescribed was enough. (I never had a fever). He said in 3 days I should we an improved,. I went to see him on Thursday, by next Tuesday my symptoms were worse , I was not improving and called in and said that doctor was not in the office.
