What is totally wrong coz all time you are there and just stay in waiting room and nobody called. They just sent away ppl with covid, without any help or checking. It's a shame

    Worst emergency department, wait for 9 hours in bad condition with high blood pressure and headache. Just started feeling worse while waiting for my turn. Will never come there again and don’t recommend to anybody!

    I had to vidit yhis hospital because if covid symptoms that I had. My situation was not serious and did not visit different section if this hospital but my experience was like this: there are parking place around and inside hospital. You may find the reception easly and I need yo appreciate the way they help the patients. After check in, I had to visit a doctor, she decided fir my condition us it need immediate attention or I can wait for my turn. I got a green bracelet on my hand which mean I am not emergency case. I arrived to hospital around 1.30 pm and by 2 pm I had My bracelet, then I had to wait almost 2.5 hours for my turn. I think just 4 people were infront me and this waiting time was so long. However , I need to appreciate the quality of staff and doctors service. Thank you for your great work.

    Felipe Garcia that works in Triagem is a very rude and disrespectful person. Treat patients without any compassion and care. Awful treatment. I bet people arriving in prison receive better treatment than what we got from this guy.

    I went to the emergency room here. I was seen by the triage nurse within 10 minutes of registering and by the doctor within 20 minutes after that. My whole time there was still close to 5 hours but that's because they had to draw blood and do the blood tests and get the results to do something. So I think that's actually pretty fast. And everyone i dealt with from the doctor to the nurse to the receptionists some English and we very polite and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the public hospital experience in Lisbon.

    The staff did everything they could to help, but there were no rooms so I had to spend 4 days with a broken leg on the corridor before I could go elsewhere for the surgery. The toilet was filthy and there was no running water to wash my hands, which is inexcusable. Whoever is responsible for this hospital needs to reconsider how they treat the people that they are supposed to be helping. Also covid patients were being transported between other patients that were sleeping in the corridor, so it was extremely lucky that I did not catch anything. I hope I never have to come back here. It was a living nightmare.

Para mais esclarecimentos deve contactar o seu médico de família." Deram-me esta resposta descartando totalmente qualquer responsabilidade seja do que for! Porque motivo a minha consulta foi recusada? O hospital não tem serviços administrativos para informar os utentes? Ou estão à espera que aconteça algo trágico? No meu caso bastava informarem-me para ser vista em outro sítio! Esta consulta é extremamente urgente. Tentei saber mais informações pela colaboradora que me respondeu e a mesma só soube dizer que não sabia e não sabia. Médicos bons (sem dúvida), serviços administrativos para lá do péssimo. PS: Não atendem as chamadas, e quando atendem deixam-nos a falar sozinhos ou desligam.

    I had to go to the emergency room for a sudden medical need. Very polite, professional and courteous staff, with most people speaking English. From start to finish, it took four hours, but it was very efficient and I ended up getting the medicine I needed when I left. They also explained the follow-up procedure. I did not have to pay anything (although I am a Portuguese resident).

    Avoid this hospital. My 90 year old mother was taken in by ambulance with chest pains. She surfers form Alzheimer’s. They gave her the green band and did not allow family to wait with her in spite of us telling them she has Alzheimer’s and doesn’t know what is happening to her. 8 hours later we managed to get in to see her and she was tired to her bed by her hands and feet. She was agitated and had still not been seen too. These doctors and nurses have no empathy. This kind of treatment to a 90 year old Alzheimer’s patient with chest pains is DEPLORABLE!!!

    A hospital experience from hell. I spent 14 hours at this hospital to get some basic examinations done due to covid. Unfortunately the only way to get any support from the staff was making a scene. The worst part: I wasn't even provided delegação de presença / any documentation about my visit.     I am so thankful to the team at this hospital. I had severe headaches for WEEKS. I mean, headaches in the morning, noon, and night, during sleep, sport, and everything else. I went in, and got served thoroughly. I had blood tests, urine tests, EKGs, two CT scans, the works. By the end, I had completed every test on the docket. I consulted with general practitioners, nurses, and neurologists. Everyone did a great job at using English, and trying to make sure I understood as much as possible. Yes, the wait times between tests could be up to two hours. Yes, I spent two 10-hour days there. But, that's what social, public healthcare is like. That is the fault of the system. Here, the hospital, and the staff, are doing the best they can. And their best really helped me.

    Went to emergency on Sun (lunchtime). Receptionist, nurse and doctor spoke English, were kind and professional. Overall it took around 1,5h to get care. Facilities are quite worn off but ok overall. Considering the circumstances, I'm quite happy with the experience.

    Yesterday I went to the obstetrics emergency room at this hospital, referred by health24, as I am pregnant and feeling very ill, and my health center refuses to see me. The triage nurse was very friendly, gave me a yellow bracelet and asked me to wait while the doctor would call me. I waited some time (not long) and was called by Dr Madalena, very friendly and humane, she listened to all my concerns and complaints, did an ultrasound to see if my baby was ok and asked if I wanted to take the medication there or she would pass it and and I could go home. I chose to leave and I'm taking the medication and feeling much better. The doctor herself said that the NHS is a disgrace and advised me to file a complaint because the health center has to treat me without excuses!

Such a good care of mother and a baby. Never seen such polite and cooperative nurse and doctors in my life.Every single person in this hospital are excellent.Luckily we were referred to this hospital. They leave no stone unturned.     The doctors attitude was excellent, despite I was only able to communicate in English. From the reception to doctor every one spoke English fluently and without making me ashamed of not speaking Portuguese (Well in Lisbon almost everyone speak good English, this is why I love Lisbon). I think doctors were super supportive and they provided me full details about each step. So nothing was happening in a black box. The only problem was time. It took almost whole night and a half day. I was not able to find any cafeteria near by so I spend whole night on some snacks, available through a food machine. Thumbs up for doctors and nurses who were working really hard despite the COVID situation and were willing to treat people.
