😠 Horrible waiting time , very expensive for an horrible service. We wait for 3hours, and we kept waiting for the doctor to arrive (its seems he wasnt in the building).     They are the cheater ,I want to check for the emergency and I meet to the doctor for 10 min with out doing nothing they charge me 90 euro ,so I suggest to all don't go this hospital 😡😡😡

    Situado na Rua Gabela, nos Olivais-Sul, este Hospital dista poucos metros da minha casa Até dá para ir a pé. Tenho recorrido vastas vezes aos serviços desta Instituição Hospitalar. Os tempos de triagem e atendimento têm sido rápidos. Nesta última ida aos serviços, o tempo de espera entre a triagem e a consulta demorou no máximo 30 minutos. O atendimento, quer pelos serviços administrativos, quer pelos auxiliares, enfermeiros e médicos, tem sido digno de louvor! A afabilidade, o profissionalismo, dedicação que "ofertam "aos pacientes, são um lenitivo e incentivo para que tudo corra pelo melhor! Pelo menos, a parte psicológica, através desta amabilidade e bom tracto, é meio caminho andado para a cura De salientar que está Unidade Hospitalar está bem equipada tecnologicamente. Já realizei exames, além dos rotineiros, como análises e eletrocardiogramas, -TAC, colonoscopia e endoscopia e a celeridade dos resultados foi satisfatória. Recomendo vivamente a ida ao SAMS dos Olivais-Sul

    My wife arrived to the emergency with massive pain in the belly. They basically said they had no Ginecology emergency and refused to even give her a pain killer.

    I recently started going to the Hospital to do my exams and decided to make some appointments too. The hospital is clean and organized with staff who are mostly polite and helpful. But I unfortunately come to report something that happened yesterday, February 24th. I made an appointment in Nutrition and my appointment was scheduled for 11:30am, unfortunately when I left home and put the GPS on Google Maps and it indicated the route to another Sams unit (the one on Rua Gabela) because of that I was late and I only managed to get to the correct address at 11:50am (time printed on my Hospital Check-in). I waited at counter 02 to be called and at reception I was told that my insurance does not cover this consultation, so I decided to go private anyway. I paid and spent exactly 1 hour and 5 minutes waiting to be called, the place had a high turnover of people as it is also waiting for general medicine, endocrine and others. But the specialty of Nutrition, based on the calls, did not seem to be in great demand. When I decided to enter the reception queue again to question the waiting time, I was called to the office via the screen. When I arrived, the doctor said: Good afternoon, I'll let you know that this appointment will be brief as I have an appointment. I went in and said sorry I didn't understand. She then said that I was late and she can't change her life and commitments because of that (she said it exactly like that). Well then I told him that the delay was because I had gone to the wrong unit and even so I arrived at 11:50am and I had been waiting for an hour to be seen, that this could have been said before I waited so long.     Hospital to avoid, emergency situation, with tonsillitis, and after being seen by a doctor in a hurry and with a meaningless conversation, she orders me to administer corticosteroids and hantistamines into my veins.     Cheguei de madrugada ao hospital cheia de dores e fui rapidamente atendida. A médica pediu analises e um TAC. Fui sempre acompanhada por uma auxiliar 5 estrelas, muito prestável. Entretanto fui tirar sangue para análises e fui medicada... A enfermeira que me "picou" foi super impecável também. A médica não dava muito à simpatia, mas também não está lá para ser simpática e sim para ser profissional e foi. Desde miúda que sou paciente do sams, já tive as minhas desilusões com o hospital e clinica e já falei mal quando tal aconteceu, mas também devemos falar bem quando as coisas correm bem. Infelizmente não sei o nome da auxiliar e da enfermeira que me acompanharam, mas estavam de serviço na madrugada de sábado, dia 26/8. Estimem bem essas profissionais porque são elas que fazem diferença ❤

    Deveria dar 5 estrelas apenas por conta do enfermeiro Carlos Costa*, e ALGUMAS das enfermeiras que estavam com ele. Mas o resto foi tão ruim, que por isso será uma estrela. Cheguei no hospital no dia 6/9/23 as 20h morrendo de dor, não conseguia colocar o pé no chão, estava me arrastando, mancando, (por conta do joelho) e o "porteiro/segurança" me disse que as urgências eram do outro lado, que eu teria que sair do hospital e dar a volta para entrar nas urgências. Questionei: "vou ter que andar tudo isso? Nessas condições?" Ele perguntou: "vc veio sozinha?" Respondi que vivo sozinha. Ele replicou: "temos pena, não posso fazer nada🤷🏿" Olhei pra 3 cadeiras de rodas que haviam ali paradas, e perguntei se podia facilitar meu caminho, ou até mesmo canadianas para emprestar ele respondeu rude que não. Sem nem olhar pra mim, ele disse que não podia fazer nada, que é responsabilidade minha por não ter levado acompanhante, e me ignorou completamente! Super estúpido. Enquanto chego nas urgências, um outro "porteiro/segurança" vem todo disponível me sentando numa cadeira quando me vê! A jovem recepcionista do turno também não estava num bom dia. Felizmente as 22h ela foi embora e entrou uma simpática e prestativa. A médica Fernanda Mexia também foi mau, ui.. parecia que tinha raiva dos pacientes. Tratava todos com indelicadeza e grosseria, sem um pingo de empatia. O enfermeiro Carlos foi incrível comigo e com todos dali. Mas infelizmente só ele não é o suficiente pra me fazer voltar. Péssima experiência!

    A few months ago, a patient was hospitalized for 15 days for surgery and when she came out she had a bedsore. Only when she arrived at the place where she was going to do the recovery did the daughter find out that her mother had a bedsore because no one at SAMS informed her. Because of this bedsore, you remain hospitalized and have even had to undergo surgery. At this point, due to another complication, she had to return to the SAMS hospital and had to stay there. What is his surprise when a nurse appears and, when questioned by the lady, responds that he only speaks English!!!! So in my country, to get healthcare I have to know how to speak English???? It's inconceivable!!! To work there it should be mandatory to speak Portuguese!!! Not to mention lost letters and rude staff... Very bad!!! I really don't recommend anything!!

    A equipe da madrugada de hoje, das 02:30 às 04:30, médico e enfermeiro da triagem, dotados de um péssimo profissionalismo. Fizeram chacota com o quadro clinico da minha filha, enquanto lhe era administrada medicação endovenosa. É inadmissível a postura e atitude. Pena foi ter tomado conhecimento só a caminho de casa e não ter tido a oportunidade de os confrontar em sede própria.

    I called yesterday and the service was closed before 6pm. I've been trying to make a phone call for over 20m and only automatic recordings, whose options are not consistent with the services they mention and after touching "n" time the call hangs up!     If I could give this hospital 10 stars, I would! I found myself on a return trip from the United States and when I arrived in Lisbon, I had a severe diabetic emergency that required immediate attention. Thanks to a paramedic at the Lisbon airport he said that this hospital was the closest. Upon arrival I was immediately taken in the emergency room and admitted. Although some of it was a blur, I do remember the excellent care that I received in the first couple days. Not to mention how the staff, helped my husband as he was in shock not anticipating this emergency. And explained all of what was happening along the way. I want to thank the admitting staff, whom recognized my urgent need. And the TEAM of doctors, nurses and other supporting staff that took amazing care of me. The staff that taught me Portuguese and the wonderful Massages. They existed as my guardian angels. Eu nunca vou te esquecer e obrigada!

    This hospital is a shame, I went with my wife for a certain reason, she was called for triage and then went to the waiting room. 1 hour later we went to ask why they didn't call and the reason was because they had been discharged right after the screening. She was then called into the office and the doctor's justification for my wife's symptoms was because she was carrying our son too much. A completely stupid and ignorant response, coming from someone who doesn't want to work.     Já estive lá internado 4 vezes para cirurgias e fui tratado sempre com muita competencia tanto pelo pessoal médico e de enfermagem como pelos auxiliares e administrativos e isto sem contar com as inumeras consultas de ambulatório que regularmente lá faço.     Bom dia. Ontem a noite, dia 19 de Março de 2023 estive neste hospital com o meu marido nas urgências, onde antes de saimos , por volta das 23:00 fui atendida por uma senhora , que me encheu o coração. Super simpática, humana, e de uma gentileza extraordinária. O atendimento ao publico não é facil, e eu faço atendimento a 23 anos. E sei que sempre de damos um sorriso e somos gentis com alguém podemos fazer a diferença na vida dessa pessoa nem que seja por alguns momentos. E ontem sem dúvida que esta senhora marcou o meu dia e fez diferença. Obrigada❤

As 16.40h a dita sra. veio chamar me, que me apressasse porque o Dr. já estava no bloco, à minha espera!!!! segui atrás dela, ate um quarto onde me foi dito por uma enfermeira que, aquele quarto nao seria o meu e portanto que nao tirasse os meus pertences do saco, porque tinha que me despachar para ir para o bloco (como se eu e que estivesse atrasada), vesti a bata que me deram e segui para o bloco, tudo em menos de 10m..De referir que toda a espera e toda a situação em si foi de grande carga nervosa para mim e completamente escusada se, o Hospital tivesse organizado o internamento adequadamente, como seria de esperar de um hospital privado, ainda por cima sendo uma cirurgia programada e não de urgência! De referir contudo que a cirurgia correu dentro da normalidade e sem (mais) sobressaltos (valha me ao menos isso)! Não voltei ao hospital depois disso e hoje, dia em que relato este triste episódio posso dizer que estou à exactamente 29.35m a aguardar que me atendam uma chamada, para saber se o resultado da minha anatomia patológica esta pronta! Em tom de conclusão, serviços presenciais péssimos, atendimento telefónico nulo!! Não voltarei a este hospital e farei com que os meus familiares/amigos e conhecidos também não vos procurem.     I had a great opinion about the SAMS Olivais hospital. I was well taken care of.
