I recently had a tumescent liposuction at the clinic Atlanta. 18 days following the surgery, several worried calls, messages and an extra appointment to show the surgeon the hard, red and painful bump I had on my leg, he finally admitted that I had an infection and sent me back home with some oral antibiotics. As the situation worsened I went to the emergency services where I was hospitalised due to an infection with the bacteria staphylococcus aureus. Within 2 weeks, I had 2 surgeries and intravenous injections of antibiotics every 4h, followed by 2 weeks off work.
