Dr. Filipe Vieira is an exceptionally talented, kind, and master in dentistry. I had broken my two front teeth in an accident on Monday evening, the hospital couldn’t do anything as it was the holidays, they didn’t have an on site dentist, and suggested to see a dentist. I went to the Institute of Implantology on Tuesday morning and Dr. Vieira saw me almost right away. He carefully accessed the damage, took an X-ray, and asked many questions to determine the best next course of action. First he stabilised the situation as my teeth was still bleeding from the night before. He took so much care, always asking if I was feeling alright or in any pain. To recreate my teeth to be as similar as before, he also took a mould of my teeth, recent pictures of me smiling, in order to do the patch work the next day. The whole procedure took 2-3 hours. Upon leaving he even gave me recommendation on what toothbrush to use, to continue taking the medicine prescribed by the hospital. He even gave advice on how to fix my injured fingers. The next day, the first thing Dr. Filipe Vieira asked was how I was feeling - concerned about my well-being since the accident was shocking. Then he proceeded to explain the steps he was taking for the day. He took every effort to make sure I was comfortable during the 3 hours of recreating my two front teeth. Always explaining what I would feel, apologising for any pain, asking me how I’m feeling. The most caring and kind doctor. His work is exceptional. Although the patch work on my two front teeth was going to be temporary, he wanted to take the time to make sure he did it well so I would feel good about my teeth and smile.
