Joáo - thank you for the amazing tour. Rich in history, culture and the arts as well as the more recent political context for what we today call Portugal. Had such a wonderful time and would reccomend this to anyone ti better understand the city and its distinct neighborhoods and microenvironments.

Ines is a great tour guide, her enthusiasm makes the walk amazing even when you have to go up many stairs in Alfama. We had the opportunity to try lots of local food and drinks from small local shops/people along the way and didn’t see the time pass!

Wonderful tour. Our guide Beatriz was engaging and very informative (and her restaurant recommendations were great); the 3 hours we spent on the walking tour sped by, and it was the perfect introduction to the city of Lisbon. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

Best walking tour of a city I have ever been on! Bruno was a passionate and natural story teller. Gave an amazing account of the history of Lisbon that was moving, inspiring and entertaining! We spent the rest of our trip quoting him! Thank you Bruno :)

A great experience. A great tour with Rita. She provides a lot of information and background about the sites and the history, but in a fun and light way, with a lot of humor. She managed the group well. Answering all questions and provides additional tips and ideas

This was the second country in which I’ve done one of these tours and I struck gold both times. My one in Toronto was so culturally competent and all encompassing. The one I recently did in Lisbon was neighborly and intimate; made all the better that it happened on a holiday. Ines intertwined her only family history around the day’s events, and gave us tips and tricks on how to take part in the remaining festivities as tourists.

The tour with Bruno was above our expectations. We've walked quite some tours all around Europe, Bruno is an outstanding guide and personality. Not only did he give us the history in an interactive and involving manner, but also cared about the physical well-being of the group members. He made sure there was an alternation between serious and fun facts as well as between walking, standing and sitting. Bruno's tour was a cherry on the cake of our Lisbon visit. Thank you!

Went on a tour with Crespo where you really feel like you’re being taken on a walk by a local friend — his humor was great and his storytelling was very informative and engaging. A great walking tour of the heart of Lisbon, the new and the old, ending in Alfama. Highly recommend!

Exceeded my expectations. If you're lucky enough to get paired with the beautiful guide, Rita, then you're in for a treat! The tour was fun, energetic, and informative, with sprinkled humor that made it one to remember. It is absolutely worth booking if you want to see the many neighborhoods of Lisbon and learn a bit about the history and try some of the local treats along the way.

Had a fantastic walking tour with our guide, Maria :) she was very knowledgeable, friendly and I can feel that she’s truly passionate with her work. At the end of the tour, she also gave us a list of her recommendations for restaurants, fado restaurants & interesting sightseeings. Definitely recommend this tour when you’re in Lisbon! Abrigada Maria ;)

We were lucky enough to join Telma's group on Thursday for the historical and cultural tour. The tour itself was amazing, visiting all areas we wanted to see during our time in Lisbon, free taster was a plus too, and Telma was a perfect guide. We particularly enjoyed her fado singing and had an amazing night at O Corrido after she recommended it. We also received a list of recommendations from her which was so useful and she was also kind enough talk me through how best to travel to Sintra. Thank you!!

This was our first trip to Lisbon so we decided to do a tour to get a better understanding of the local history and geography. Crespo was our guide and he was fantastic- great stories, learnt a lot about the Portuguese, wars, alliances, foes, got to taste a delicious Portuguese tart and the walking was easy- no steep hills and only a few steps. His love for his city and culture rubbed off on us and we took his advice and visited a couple of locations not normally advertised to tourists. Highly recommended!!!

We were so lucky to sign up for Free-Tour with Bruno! What an enthusiastic person who loves what he does! He is smart, funny, and very considerate of everyone in the group. All the stories and historical facts he was telling us in such a passionate way that the only reaction of all of us in the group was “please, tell us more”. I think if Bruno would say he will continue explaining for a couple of hours more, everyone would say “YAAAS, please”. I am so happy that I am leaving Lisbon with a better knowledge of local history, and culture and that I found an outstanding tour guide I will always remember and recommend to anyone who visits Lisbon. Thank you.

We did a tour with Sebastiao who was not only super professional but super sweet and kind. He surprised us with his profound knowledge of the history and contemporary culture of Lisbon and Portugal in general. I have to say first we did not want to do a tour and kind of stumbled into it thinking we would leave after a few stops, but he did the tour so interesting and nice that we stayed for the whole tour. I cannot say anything about the other guides but with Sebastiao this was the best guided city tour I ever did around the world. Therefore I would definitely recommend joining one of their tours.

This was a great tour. I’m a expat local and have been all over Lisbon and I still saw many new places and familiar places through new eyes. Fraga is very knowledgeable about both Lisbon and Portuguese history, he gives enough to make it interesting but not so much that you’re standing still for long periods. I definitely recommend it.

Had a great tour with Joana! She was very knowledgeable and humorous. The free tasting of egg tarts was an extra bonus to what was already an excellent tour:) Highly recommended

Rita was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing! A very comprehensive tour. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and soak in the city of Lisboa.

Very good tour. despite the rain and comfy moment with custard tarts tasting. Joana was definitely a great guide showing us the best spots and some hidden passages we would never have discovered by ourselves. Many tips and recommandations to discover the best of Lisbon. Joana answered all our questions with precision and humour; I strongly recommend this tour!

No regrets going on this walking tour at all! Beatriz was really engaging and fun throughout the entire tour. Her love and knowledge for Lisboa really came through as she spoke to the group on the 3 hour tour. The tour is ideal even for individuals who want to know more about this amazing place. Bring comfy shoes, an open mind, water and smiles!

Jorge Grespo Was our tour guide for Lisbon Essential History, Fun Facts and Free Tastings and it was a fantastic experience and amazing tour. We recommend taking the tour with Jorge in the first day you are getting to Lisbon. All of his recommendations will make the rest of the trip enjoyable and more productive. Jorge is a story teller what make the walk very interesting, it also help us to remember more information then we usually do. Jorge is very knowledgeable - we visited main areas as well as hidden gems. We have taken free walking tours in many cities over the years - Jorge's tour is one of the best!! Highly recommended!!!

I did this free tour and was the best decision. It lasted for about 3.5 to 4 hours. The guide throughout the tour was always very enthusiastic and passionate about history and Portugal. He was very knowledgeable, funny and interactive. I had no idea about the history of Portugal and i learnt a lot. Definitely recommend.

Francisco is passionate about history, culture, food and viewpoints in Lisbon and Portugal. Definitely we have become a Lettuce after being on a walking tour with him. His tours are totally a must and you will enjoy his explanations and the sound effects on his historical facts. BTW you earn special points if you answer correctly to his questions.

Such a great way to see the city! Definitely put on some good walking shoes with grip—the cobblestones up and downhill can be slippery. Overall, I wouldn’t want to see the city any other way. Beatriz was our guide and did an AMAZING job—she’s super knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and passionate about Lisbon and it’s history. The entire tour was very engaging and I learned a lot about a beautiful city ❤️

We had a super fun and lively tour with Fraga! You can really tell he's passionate about being a guide :) Learned a lot of things about Lisbon, tried the famous Pastéis de Nata and got some insider tipps.

Guide Sergio did 3 hour tour in Porto. He was very informative and I learned quite a few new things about the city. I just wish he didn't walk so fast. Most people on the tour could not keep up with him. Sergio was very patient with us and!waited till we all gathered around him to listen to the next part of the tour.

I went to a tour 3 days ago in Spanish with Sebastião because some friends were visiting. Myself I have been living in Lisbon for some years now and the experience with Sebastião was amazing. He is from Lisbon and has great knowledge of History, stories to tell, hidden gems to show and restaurants and food to recommend. Things I didn't know even though I live here for some time now. Completely recommend it. Thank you for all, for helping with the baby trolls and the restaurant reservation. My friends were delighted with the experience!

We booked the Free Tour of Lisbon: Essential History & Fun Facts - Free Tastings and had an amazing time. Our guide Fraga was humorous, could answer all of our questions and showed us interesting spots in Lisbon. We also tasted delicious Nata and enjoyed a stunning view! All in all a success - I’d highly recommend the tour.

Bea was one of the best tour guides I've ever had! Not only did she know a lot of interesting facts about Lisbon, but also made each minute of the three-hour long tour pass by so fast that I wish it had lasted longer! And the fact that it was a two person group was also surprisingly cool :) I'll be back for the 12th of June 💃

Tours of my life follows the correct filosophy of tourism. certifications, passion, based historical information and the willing to make Lisbon visitors fall in love with the city and their folks just as tours of my life - guides do!

One of the best free walking tours I've ever done (and I've done a lot!). Beatriz was so friendly, knowledgeable, answered all our questions and gave us recommendations for anything we asked for including sending us a link to a list of her favourite restaurants around Lisbon. She had great energy and spoke about the history in a fun and interesting way. The route was perfect and covered all the main spots. Don't miss this walking tour!!

We loved the free walking tour of Lisbon with our fantastic guide Rita. Without a doubt the of best walking tours I've been on. It was much longer than other tours I've had and I was impressed with how Rita kept it fun and dynamic for so long, keeping everyone entertained and very well informed about a range of information about the history and culture of the city as well as useful facts for our time here.

Hey, we visit Lisbon this year and Francisco happened to be our guide. We had a lot of fun as he merge his acting skills with storytelling which was always entertaining and interesting. Plus he has great personality and in between guide points he always was chatting with people and answering all side questions. I would highly recommend this tour and this guide for anyone who wants to taste of Portugal history and know Lisbon like own city. Francisco had been great for us!
