If you are a Instagrammer then this is the place for you to take beautiful reels. If you are a nature lover, find a sport on the balcony and you can enjoy this view for hours. Must visit when in Lisbon. Do try the pineapple juice when you are here. I would recommend taking Tram 28 to reach here as the path leading to the point is uphill. On a sunny day which is possible for 300 days in a year in Lisbon you get to see a nice sun rise from here.

Nice viewpoint over a bit of lisbon and the river. I recommend going there in the evening. It looks beautiful. There are often other people there, but they don't bother. There is also a kiosk near by I think if you need something to drink

Another one of the best place to view the entire Lisbon city. It is not only a place to watch the city but also a very beautiful garden. I like it😊. Coming at early morning you will find it more special. Quiet and the light is so good for photography 😊

Miradouro de Santa Luzia offers breathtaking views of Lisbon's colorful rooftops and the Tagus River. Entrance is free of charge. A great location to spend some time while enjoying the Lisbon's beauty. A must-visit spot to soak in the city's beauty and enjoy a peaceful moment. Don't miss it!

Take Trolley #28 up here, and then you can jump back on the next one or it's not too bad of a walk down. It's a pretty view of the lower part of Lisbon, worth getting in line for the trolley to see.

Top of the city view and lots of tourists too. Can get crowded. Although situated on top of the hill. Different modes of transportation are available. A good number of restaurants are available throughout and if you need a guided tour it's available too. Local shops and local businesses are available. Can spend almost a whole day exploring the area. Went during mid July and the weather did not disappoint. Definitely a place to visit. Disability friendly.

Nice spot to hang out! Also all around there, there are other great spots! You can really see a lot from up there! Would recommend to go there by the tram 28E as it is going right past this point!

5 stars a fab hotel to visit. Staff lovely food & drinks lovely and views are amazing. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar, and all the eye could see. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Lovely place to see the sunset! And also you get a beautiful view of the city and buildings. Also if you are lucky you get to see the cruise ships docked there!! Highly recommend this place. There are many rooftop cafes there which is ideal to grab a coffee or a drink!

Beautiful spot to have a great overview of the city and the ocean. Both during the early hours and during sunset, you will have a magnificent view here. It’s mostly quite crowded but you can always find a spot to take some photos and enjoy the view. If you want to see the sunset for real though you should move to the other side of the city since the sun won’t go down directly in this direction. Still beautiful though.

We went to eat at Timeout enjoy our dinner and drink here. Come out and saw Tuk Tuk we had no plan to take this ride but got convinced that this will be good ride. We took this ride was amazed. If you ever come to town here this is a must ride. This was our highlight of the city. Time was evening and that was best time too.

Very cute, but didn’t meet my expectations. It’s crowded but not that much and you can’t see the sunset from there (someone will say “obviously”).. Overall I recommend for the view and the wind over there, but also the square above, following the street upwards, it’s quite recommendable if not better.

Incredible vantage point to see some of Lisbon and take in the view and music and get some photos. I came middle of day and it was busy but not too crowded you couldn’t take a photo. Compared to some other scenic points this one is easier to and not as far up the hills.

Highly recommended! Beautiful area, breathtaking views, perfect for great pictures. There’s lots of local restaurants nearby, and I was able to find this place thanks to a free walking tour, I’m so glad I did, we had to go back a second time.

Really a nice place to take in the views. Several street musicians normally a playing here and you can watch the sunset here for some nice night views as well. Be mindful of you wallet in this area. I liked that there was a lot of terrace space so many people can enjoy the view at the same time.

Great viewpoint for sunrise or just views of the city during the day. The terrace is covered in bougainvillea and decorated with azulejo tiles. Look for terracotta rooftops, the National Pantheon, the Tagus River’s south bank, and giant cruise ships. It can get pretty busy here so be aware of possible pick-pockets.

We took some lovely photos up here. A great viewpoint. Next to places to eat and drink. A nice, but sometimes steep walk from the cruise terminal.

Nice view point of the city. There was a man singing a song with a guitar, which made the atmosphere more wonderful. Highly recommended!

Stunning place if you are willing to come here early in the morning to see the sunrise and avoid people! We didn't have the chance to try at sunset, but let me tell you it is worth a visit. Oh, yeah, there was a lot of trash.. which was a piety. We tried to clean the mess a bit, but it was just too much..

It was a cool overlooking viewpoint of Lisboa! It's completely free. However, it was very busy especially when you're waiting for the sunset! It's best to visit this spot early in the morning as we reached it mid-afternoon. There was a singer/musician playing which was entertaining and lovely to speak to! There's a cute sitting area to relax at. It was quite of a walk to get to this place, so wear comfy shoes! Otherwise, Trams, electric scooters and mopeds are accessible to get to the top. Overall, it was a nice spot to see the city of Lisboa!

Schöner Ausblick. Es gibt meistens Livemusik und andere Künstler. Vor allem Abends kann man hier gut entspannen und den Tag bei einem Drink ausklingen lassen. Zu Stoßzeiten kann es voll werden

Nice view of the Tagus River and of Lisbon rooftops. There’s a few spots along here to look out over the horizon & I found the better view to be just before the main miradouro. There’s a cute spot to get a bite to eat and a drink (& big umbrellas to shield us from the on & off rain) and other vendors next to the main viewpoint. There’s also a small garden/courtyard with stairs that lead up to a rooftop restaurant. We went on a week day, end of February, later in the afternoon, and it was busy. Harder to get a nice shot of the view and of the tile work (not to mention the vines were not in bloom when we went) but still a good stop along the way!

One of the many viewpoints in Lisbon that provides a picturesque view of the city and the Tagus river. Some tip for people who loves to take pictures, go here early in the morning as the place gets packed in the afternoon. Lovely atmosphere and it’s nice to see the colours of Lisbon as it blends with the sky and the river from this view.

Beautiful viewpoint just opposite a bus/tram station so it's easily reachable. Views are really nice, as were the historical tile depictions in the garden.

Great scenic views. There were a couple gentlemen playing live music when we got there. The views were great from this area. It's worth stopping by.

Lisbon is also known as the City of Seven Hills. There are many viewpoints to appreciate the wonderful scenery all around. Of course, I have my favorite - Miradouro de Santa Luzia.

Visited years ago, now via cruise. Enjoyed old tram. However disappointed at the level of litter, poor condition foot paths graffiti. Compared with the Azores Punta Delgada and Madeira, they're in far better shape. I suppose being a large city makes the difference.

  • 4/5 Paige A. 2 years ago on Google
Busy, but beautiful and found in so many instagram photos and you can clearly see why. Reasons it’s popular are: the views of the well-known red rooftops, the azulejos, the occasional musician playing in the background, and the fact it’s in Alfama. *It’s an excellent spot for photos!*

If you're in Lisbon, make sure you get here - especially if the day is beautiful (which shouldn't be too difficult given 300 days of sunshine a year on average). Romantic, charming, lovely, and historic.

  • 5/5 Jake J. 2 years ago on Google
Very beautiful and well kept mirador. A nice corner to visit in your walk in Alfama.

  • 5/5 Nirmal M. 2 years ago on Google
This is perhaps the most spectacular and astounding platforms in Lisbon because it allows the eye to discern between the calm and serenity of the Tagus River and the vibrant vibes of the Portuguese culture.

  • 5/5 Romie 2 years ago on Google
Lovely view here with lovely azulejos. Definitely instagram worthy place

  • 5/5 A Stint A. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful view from one of Lisbon's prettiest viewpoints. We came here twice during our trip and had drinks at the bar. There's a small garden onsite and a fresco on the wall. Sometimes you'll also get a street artist playing a melody or two. Definitely worth a visit.

  • 5/5 Robert M. 5 months ago on Google
Really nice place. Climbing up to get to it also allows you to see some beautiful, narrow Lisbon streets. Definitely recommend getting a coffee and some cake on the top!

Definitely worth the walk up there...

Great and very picturesque place. Many tourists and quite crowded. Best to visit in a day time. Has many strange people around, so you may need to watch out for your bag and personal belongings.

  • 4/5 Paul D. 6 months ago on Google
Beautiful views of Lisbon coastline. Take some food and wine, relax, take your time and enjoy the view. Best to go early in the morning, as there is fewer people.

This was my favorite Miradouro in Lisbon, Portugal. It is so pretty. I went 2 mornings in a row for the sunrises. In early morning, it is not so busy but it gets extremely busy during the day. It is free to visit. Tram 28 passes right in front of this Miradouro.

  • 3/5 Silvy C. 2 years ago on Google
Nice view, but pretty crowded. There is this super cool compressed history if Lisbon cartoon style, just down the stairs. At the public restroom. Unfortunately half of it covered by graffiti. And not in a good way.

  • 5/5 Vince T. 2 years ago on Google
A must visit in Portugal, The Miradouro de #Santa Luzia is one's of famous miradouros (look out points) in #Alfama #Lisbon #Portugal. Situated on a hilltop in the city's old downtown area, the miradouro offers beautiful panoramic views over Alfama and the Tagus river.

  • 5/5 Shraddha R. 1 year ago on Google
we went to lots of miradouros, and apart from the S Jorge castle (which isn't free), this was easily the best. beautiful gardens and balcony view, places to sit, and buskers singing / playing guitar. very much a vibe

  • 5/5 Sara B. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely overlook to be a prelude to dinner somewhere close. We rode the tram and it was a great experience even if it isn’t the famous tram 11. There was a musician playing soft jazz while we were there and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the view. Such a peaceful environment. If you chose to go to an overlook, then I recommend this one.

  • 4/5 Emilio Di R. 1 year ago on Google
Best Lisboa miradouro. Better than Santa Catarina. Amazing view of city and river. A must view point. Mu advice is to reach it with tram (28E) because the road is uphill.

  • 5/5 Phatty A. 10 months ago on Google
Top of my list for a beautiful park and bored if Lisbon. Perfect for photo taking and IG ready... Brilliant colors in the flowering trees and vines. Highly recommend a visit.

  • 4/5 August J. 11 months ago on Google
One of the viewing platforms in Lisbon, we went there uphill on the slab stone road for about 10 minutes along the road, or take a tram. The platform is not big, you can see the sea view, cruise ships docked and red brick houses. If you went there at night, a stunning sea view with moonlight you can't miss!

  • 5/5 Julia I. 1 year ago on Google
Very hilly and do encounter some very steep streets here. Took transport via tuktuk for the tour around city centre. We'll Worth the money as the guide was very helpful in showing us around places we would not normally get to on foot. Enjoyed the trip.

  • 5/5 Donna F. 1 year ago on Google
Great spot to sit and enjoy views over Lisbon. Busy but no problem to get table and have a beer in sunshine.
