Beautiful view of Lisbon's downtown and perfect to see Sunrise/Sunset on the city. Very calm. Good food around. It's located between Príncepe Real and Baixa-Chiado (downtown)

My wife and I wonder around after taking the elevator Santa Justa and found this park with a beautiful view of the hill in Lisbon. They quite some pop-up cafes and snack shops in it Sat evening. It's a great place to hang out and chill after sunset to get away from the heat.

It's a good place to have a panoramic view of Lisbon city from the top including the sea. It can be accessed by the road, steps or by tram. Best time to visit this place is in the evenings. The setting sun gives a golden color to the colorful buildings. The place turns into a party ground in the evening, with music and dance. Must visit place in Lisbon.

One of the best Miradouros (Viewpoints) in Lisbon. It has a fountain, few restaurants, but the most important is the panoramic views of the city. From here you can see the Miradouro Senhora do Monte with its iconic tree, the Castle of Saint George and few areas of the city of Lisbon.

Place with a good view of Lisbon. There is an old tram going on a steep hill - a Lisbon icon. The garden is a nice place for getting away from the city and relax and enjoy the sun. A nice place for self reflection while overlooking Lisbon and the waters.

One of the best terraces (miraduoros) in Lisbon. It's a long climb of stairs from Baixa, Chaido, and Bairro Alto, so be ready, but there are some cafes on any route up to rest, and it'll be worth the trouble.

Great outdoor space offering stunning views of the city. There is market stalls here that are open through the day and night serving drinks and different kind of foods. The pina colada cocktail served in a fresh pineapple is an absolute must. There is many different sandwiches to try made with cured meats and cheeses. There is a stage here also which has live bands and DJs on throughout the day and night. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful and romantic viewpoint that invites you to linger, both during the day and at night. You can also beautifully observe the sunrise from here. On the adjacent street, there are very good restaurants to round off the evening.

We were just walking slowly the narrow streets of Bairro Alto when suddenly a spectacular view of the city opened up. Great terrace. From the other side you can take the funicular or climb up (nine minutes slow walk).

Beautiful place, worth the visit! In Christmas time, they have decorations and a mini market on the square. In busy week days, it may be hard to find places to park.

The funicular wasn't running when we got here, so we walked up and took some snaps and walked back down, by this time the funicular was running and we beat it coming down. The hill is pretty steep though! Good view of the city from the top.

Nice view point to look over the old part of the city. It also has a small snack bar to sit down for a few minutes and enjoy some coffee. The tram ride up there is also a funny experience.

This popular spot in the city of Lisbon felt for me like the physical condensation of the city itself. People gathering in the sun, talking, chilling and playing music with no care and no stress, just having a break to a great view and sunset. Try it yourself.

This is a fun nightlife spot. There are outside vendors that serve food and drinks. There was a very large energetic crowd singing and dancing and having a good time. I recommend the experience. You get panoramic views of the city. There are beautiful fountains and sculptures in the park. Not only is it good for nightlife but it's a good family activity also.

Great views of the city, went there at night and the city looked beautiful with the night lights. There was also an event happening here so a lot of food trucks and a stage had been propped up. Overall, a fun place to be in or discover during your walking tour of the city. Also the tram stop next to it is very cute.

A two tiered viewpoint looking East to the castle and South to the river. Not for sunsets which are due west behind the buildings backing the park. Live music, food and drink stalls and lots of people on the upper level. The lower level is quieter with benches and flowerbeds.

Breathtaking view with a panel of you like knowing what buildings you are looking at. Truly at a height which requires some serious (stairs) walking, unless you take a little car going there. There's lots and you will know when you see them! Not much to take other than a coffee when you reach the top, and no bathrooms either!

Such a lovely terrace with an on site outdoor cafe and stunning panoramic views of the city. There are two layers to wander around and there are plenty of benches to sit on and take in your surroundings. Situated on the lower level is a stunning water fountain.

Nice views and a little cafe that you can get snacks and drinks at. I wouldn't say it's the best views in Lisbon but it's worth stopping by if you're near.

Stunning views of the city center with benches and a large garden / yard downstairs. There is a lovely cafe there. The viewpoint is actually the northern end of the cool Bairro alto neighborhood. Getting there can be done through the Telecabine. Cost of 3.80 euros round trip. Short but steep driving distance

It is a nice view point to see Lisbon from the high point. You can walk there or you can take the funicular that cost €3.80 or simply use your Viva Viagem card that is only €6.60 for 24 hours covers metro, bus, tram and funicular.

Amazing viewpoint over the city, place full of music, people and joy. Little chioscs selling drinks and finger food. Funicular line right next to it.

Another nice view point in Lisboa! Lisboa is amazing I love this city! Peaceful spot that you can sit there and enjoy the sunshine~ And it’s interesting how the fog came suddenly and covered everything.

Nice viewpoint of Lisbon - we had to walk by here a lot to go to other areas & it’s a nice place to take a break and see the city from above. There’s a fountain, a restaurant, some gardens, large trees, & a man who feeds the stray cats in the far corner! Be prepared, we found it very windy!

I do not think that this place offered some really great views of Lisbon. Yes, you can see many things from there, but other view points are better. However, the park there is nice, and a fountain.

Beautiful views over the city. I would recommend this as a high point. It never came up on the 'must-see' recommendations, but I'm glad we saw this following one of the tourist bus routes.

  • 5/5 Kai’ula 7 months ago on Google
Great views. Nice park overlooking the city. The water fountain provides a nice place to relax. Food and drink options available. Take the cable car up. The walk down can be tricky. There’s the option to take the cable car back down.

Incredible view of Lisbon! It was quite the hike as well, I don't think I have ever seen such a steep road in my life!! However, I would like to shout out to an incredible local artist that is there, her name is Anne Laidam. She does unique Lisbon landscape canvasses. It was very interesting seeing how she creates her art! She is super friendly and her prints are not expensive either.

An impressive terrace (one of a network of such spots) offering great view of Lisbon, the city spread across seven hills facing the Tagus River. These points are called "miradouros" (viewpoints) and they're usually located at the highest points of each hill. Apart from the great view of the city, you can find cafés serving snacks and refreshments, local artshops, and picturesque restaurants. To have an even more original feeling of the city, choose to go up the hill in the famous yellow tram wagons. Recommended!

  • 5/5 Derek T. 5 months ago on Google
Great public square with both take away drinks and sit down options. Good view back over the city to the castle. There are many such squares in Lisboa. If you are close to this well worth the walk up the hill, if not you can certainly find similar spots near to where you are.

Lovely viewpoint to relax. Spacious park where people relaxed with the evening breeze. Lots of places to sit. Some sat with a drink. Highly recommend to see in the evening.

An incredibly breathtaking and beautiful view of Lisbon. I recommend going up to Parque Eduardo and walking down towards the Plaza de Commercio and stopping by this view point in between. We sat there just processing the view of the city with nice music in the background.

Sitting on a park bench in a miradoura while the musicians perform is an experience in itself. Add box wine, a little nosh and a date (friend or otherwise) and you have a special memory in the making.

Super amazing view a nice place which you can reach it with the historic Tram 🚋

  • 5/5 Giuseppe D. 10 months ago on Google
Nice view over the city of Lisbon, close to the tram/elevator for some nice pictures of one of Lisbon's symbols. The gardens are nice and well maintained but for the view I would recommend other viewpoints such as the one at the castle or in general in that area so you can see the bridge behind the city.

  • 4/5 Mortis (. 2 years ago on Google
A really nice place to impress your friends that are visiting the city. It is a great place to hangout, enjoy the shade (when you have it) and take beautiful panoramic pictures of Lisbon and its surroundings. If the sky is clear you can even get a glimpse of the other side of the river. A really good place to stop and take pictures before you move on to visit other places.

  • 5/5 Yasmin Z. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing view of the city, you can see the river from here. Perfect spot for a picture or just to read

  • 5/5 D R. 1 year ago on Google
I always like Lisbon. It’s a great place to visit, with a vibrant centre, as many restaurants to choose from as you can think of, catering for every cuisine of the world. The old town is exceptional. I’d recommend a tram ride, especially the funicular up the steep slopes to Jardim de São Pedro de Alcântara. Take a Tuk tuk from the park around the old town. Usually about €60 per hour., but see what you can get for your money!

  • 4/5 Julia 1 year ago on Google
Great place for a beautiful view, with food and drinks on the upper level. There are also benches and tables to sit at while you grab a drink and some food.

  • 5/5 Samad G. 1 year ago on Google
Extremely beautiful scenery. Much quieter than the other Miradouros. Mostly locals. There are lots of trees with shadows and benches to sit on. There is a telescope for a closer view of the city. The place has two corridors. At each level a shop from which drinks and snack could be bought. There is a nice white marble fountain which is quite refreshing. The only negative is that there is no wc.

  • 5/5 Ross B. 1 year ago on Google
Great view of the city but the best part was having a man try to beg a cigarette from me (I don't smoke) and then chatting and drinking with him for more than an hour. You never know who you're going to meet so embrace these chance encounters.

  • 5/5 Ivan R. 1 year ago on Google
Very pretty views and cool city vibes. Has a few cafes and restaurants. The area around this place is probably the best area in town.

  • 5/5 David B. 1 year ago on Google
These beautiful views are spanning probably most of the city. It is a joy to visit both during the day and the evening. There is a place to sit and enjoy this fantastic view with your partner. There are many fantastic restaurants a short walk from the place. You can also find a few snacks and traditional Jinjia drinks in a chocolate cupAre also there.

  • 5/5 Papipu p. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a nice place to see Lisbon city. But at night time, it was not so beautiful like picture. I recommend to visit in the daytime or sunset.

  • 3/5 Gino K. 2 years ago on Google
Overrated, the trams are full of Graffiti, normally I would love that, but this was not the best art work. Next to the tram a line of semi-pro photographers, getting their snap. Watched one leave and one arrive at the spot, but the ones in San Francisco are nicer!

  • 5/5 Robin C. 11 months ago on Google
Great views of Lisbon from this spot. There are benches to sit on and a number of places to buy food and drink. There was music playing from one stall when we were there, but you couldn't hear it from further along, so it wasn't intrusive.

  • 5/5 Amber N. 11 months ago on Google
Great viewpoint place to get lunch and drinks. There’s live music and a guy that does massive bubbles for the kiddos. Found that very cute and fun to watch. The views are incredible of the city. Beautiful foundation as well. Recommend going! You can take the trolly up the hill for €3.50.
