A street art tour by itself is nice but a street art tour in Lisbon is truly something special! Controversy, conflict, communities, gentrification, old vs new, locals vs tourists vs expats vs immigrants..This tour is an invitation to admire, think and discuss. Our guide had more than enough knowledge and passion to give us a memorable ride! Let this tour be joined by as many people as there are colorful tiles in Lisbon ;)

I ran across this tour while walking through Lisbon. The tour guide seemed really nice and made me wish I'd a few more days in Lisbon to take the street art tour with them.

This was a remarkable tour that gets 5stars (4 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale). The guide, Miguel, had a deep knowledge of the street art scene and knew many of the artist. This walk is a true learning experience that will brought depth and recognition of the street art genre. Miguel English was excellent and it was easy to follow his discourse as he led us through the evolution of street art in Lisbon. The one caveat I would suggest is that you need to be in good shape because there are a lot of steps snd hills in the tour. Overall, we recommend this walk highly.

We had the most amazing experience! The tour was a perfect blend of history, getting familiar with street art and graffiti, exploring Lisbon on foot with a fantastic guide and interactive participation. Highly recommend!

My partner and I had a wonderful time learning about Lisbon as well as the graffiti and street art community. The tour took us around the city and helped me understand the prominent voices and what they were saying. It was beautiful and meaningful and the days afterwards, we kept spotting artists and tried to decipher the meaning of new pieces we came across. I think that it will be something we take with us to other cities to enjoy street art everywhere. It was longer than advertised though, well over 4 hours. Bang for your buck but also we didn't bring adequate water, sunscreen or food so we had to duck out to get lunch before everything closed.

The pleasure of a treasure hunt in Lisbon. Sometimes came across certain graffiti by chance. Walk for miles, but it's a beautiful city so it was a pleasure

We had a great tour with VĆ©ro and Diogo! Very informative about art and city history and dynamics. Time passed quickly as we moved from one spot to the other, learning about the different projects and taking pictures and enjoying a beautiful walk. Super friendly and enjoyable! Thank you, Monika! Now we know almost everything about Lisbon. As a matter of course, she jumped through dates, facts and years. ... we rode hidden elevators and visited the center from all sides. Great!

Loved my street art tour with VĆ©ro! She opened my mind about the history and community value of street art. She is very passionate and has a vast knowledge in this subject! Youā€™ll discover more about Lisbonā€™s history, soul and people through the messages behind the art.

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of group tours, but Vero was great. Being an anthropologist, she managed to combine the enthusiasm needed to lead such a tour with the quality of the information. Lisbon's urban art is remarkable and goes far beyond that seen on this walk, but as a starter this tour is very suitable.

I cannot recommend the Lisbon Street Art Tours enough! My friend Alicia and I participated in this incredible tour in April 2023, and it was one of the top highlights of our entire visit to Lisbon. Led by the amazing VĆ©ro, the tour was a fascinating exploration of the city's vibrant street art scene. What impressed us the most was VĆ©ro's in-depth knowledge of the street art world. She knew everything about the artists, their techniques, their messages. Her passion for the subject was infectious. We walked for a few hours, exploring hidden corners of the city that we would have never discovered on our own, and time flew by because it was all so fascinating. Not only was the tour a great way to experience Lisbon on foot, but it also completely changed our perspective on street art. We now see it in a different light and appreciate it so much more. Thank you, VĆ©ro, for an unforgettable experience!

HIGHLY recommend - this was a top highlight of my trip to Lisbon. With an amazing guide, you'll learn the fascinating stories of diverse street art, the city, and local arts/social/political culture. Walk through beautiful streets and see wonderful art that you'd otherwise likely miss.

Epic tour! We loved it. Had a great time as a family with 2 young children. it's a bit of a walk, but all worth it. Our guide was a total insider to the art world, and I can't appreciate this enough. Thanks for the experience!

We had a lovely street art tour. Vero knows the topic well. She is a lovely tour guide with a warm and friendly personality. We all learned a lot and were able to view amazing art !! I had a fabulous Sunday morning. We all bonded over our street art project and had some Sangria together after the tour. Vero brings along the most adorable canine mascot who is adorable . What a great day!

We did a private tour with my parents up on the hills of Mouraria and GraƧa. The tour was led by the wonderful VƩro, an anthopologist passionate about street art. She explained us very thoroughly the context, the history and the unknown world of street artists. She showed us legal pieces as well as illegal pieces, explaining the differences. Thank you so much VƩro for this wonderful experience, I vividly recommend to anyone that is interested in street art. Plus, you get to know two lovely neighborhoods of Lisbon!

We had a fabulous tour with Vero (and her cute dog). She is so knowledgeable about the street art scene in Lisbon and will take you to areas of the city which you probably wouldn't find or venture to on your own. She spent an extra hour showing us around and it was so interesting to hear about the history of street art in the city as well as the motivations of different artists. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience and great way to see new parts of Lisboa as well as receive incredible history. This was my second time to the city and I saw parts I'd never seen while in other places learned history that I passed by last trip. Each tour can provide new discoveries as art is ever forming in the streets. Zizi was our guide. She was kind, light-hearted and very knowledgeable. She also has her own piece on the tour. The last experience on this tour is making a take-away tote. Very cool. Lastly and if I heard correctly, this is a women's collective and that alone is awesome and well deserved of support.

I strongly recommend this street art tour. Our guide was friendly, passionate and very well-informed! She also had a lovely dog with her! This was a great experience! Being able to practice tagging was great too!

An excellent way to spend your time in Lisbon. The tour highlights some very striking street art through several neighborhoods. The guides do an excellent job of explaining the meanings and background of the pieces as well as offering a crash course into the culture of street artists. At the end of the tour there is a fun activity which involves your own spray paint art. It is also a great way to see several neighborhoods outside of the main tourist areas. Wear good walking shoes and eat a big breakfast.

This is such an amazing way to see Lisbon! The route we took through the city was packed with street art and we were given great information all the way round. I can't recommend this tour enough, it was professionally run and the tour guide was clearly passionate, which made the experience really fun. Book it now!

An absolutely amazing journey of discovery. Both street art and the actual streets of Lisbon. I highly recommend this tour as it provides a much deeper cultural viewpoint to the purpose of street art and how it represents and has impacted Portuguese society. Extremely informative. And...this tour is part of a collective supporting artists. So it's a win win win!!

What a great way to experience the city! VĆ©ro was an excellent guide, her calm presence allowed me to lose myself in the moment as we meandered through the streets. I was engaged by the stories and history of the neighborhoods and the rich culture of street art. We saw amazing pieces by up-and-coming artists created through the efforts of the local art collective as well as pieces by well known street artists and graffiti. This tour is exactly what the modern tourist is looking for, a deep authentic experience led by a local.

About 2.5 hours tour in beautiful locations in Lisbon. Our tour guide was awesome and showed us many pieces, while explaining their history and significance to the communities they are in. We were a somewhat large group of 12-15 from all over Europe and to my experience, everyone felt welcome and had their questions answered.

We booked a street art tour as part of our company away day and were split into 2 groups to view funky street art. Our guides were fun, knowledgeable and passionate about the art. We then had a workshop to create our very own bit of street art on a tote bag. We were greeted with shots of Ginjinha, given some pointers and let off to be our creative selves. I would definitely recommend this experience to small and larger groups alike. We got to see a different part of the city, learn new things and have fun all at once! Thank you team!

A great way to 'get under the skin' of Lisbon and understand the place as a living city. Jotta, our guide, was incredibly experienced and skilled at bringing both the street art and the history around it to life. Whether you're here for a short time or for weeks, go on this tour - you'll understand the capital in a unique and powerful way.

This was such a unique way to experience Lisbon, the culture, and to see some truly wonderful public art pieces. I am someone who does not want to do what everyone else does, and I love art in all forms, so this was the perfect way to spend a few hours. Ana was knowledgeable, informative, charming and gracious. I will definitely do another one of Lisbon Street Art Tours experiences on my next trip.

These are the best kinds of tours to take, since you get to learn about the history of the city and how it affects the current residents of the area. We did one in Berlin years ago, but I preferred this one in Lisbon. The walk is beautiful, with two excellent viewpoints. The architecture is cool and the pieces we get to see are gorgeous.

We love taking street art tours when we travel. Our guide Diogo from the Lisbon Artist Collective had a great perspective of both the city and the art he showed us. He and the collective are passionate about bringing innovative art to the city. As he grew up in the area, he was able to share his experience through the decades. We learned about the city and how the art scene has grown. We got to see and hear about different styles of work. Some of the pieces spoke about what has been going on in our world while others created a feeling of neighborhood and community. What a great way to see the city. We recommend this tour highly
