The guide (Mariana) was knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic about Lisbon. We definitely saw and learned things that we otherwise would have missed on our own. The walking tours are also good value.

Absolutely amazing expereince with Vox City Walks!! It was my first time in Lisbon, and with the Alfama + Downtown tours I was able to learn about the city's rich history in such a fun and interactive way! Our tour guide was so personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his job - the kind of energy you want when traveling! The Vox app is also super useful, especially if you want to hop off the guided tour and have more time for yourself at a particular location. They have made the platform so comprehensive yet so easy to navigate! Highly recommend booking tours with them!

Our tour with Giovanna wasn't very informative. We got a lot more from a free tour in Porto than from this tour that we actually paid in advance for.

Our tour guide, Barbara was really friendly and knowledgeable. She took us around the old alfama neighborhood and answered all our questions. We were the only couple on a Monday morning for the tour, so we were glad to get a private tour experience. Will definitely recommend tours with Vox City tours! :)

What a great experience! A good way to discover the historical city centre. Me and my wife, we did 2 guided tours, and also a self-guided tour in Belém. The tour guide was very friendly and interesting, also content in Belém was really relevant. We think that it's the best activity to discover the city given the low price.

If you are in Lisbon for a day and want to see the outlying areas of this amazing city as well as get a good grounding in the history of the place then this walking tour is for you.

A great way to discover the city! We were accompanied by Tomas for the visit to Baixa-Chiado then Alfama which allowed me to discover more about the city of Lisbon. Being on foot, we have time to take photos and chat with the guide, I recommend!

Arrived in the port of Lisbon last week with half a day to kill due to the early arrival of our cruise ship and we were just going to take a wander around what we could see. Luckily there was on our exit a very polite young lady whose name I did not get selling walking tours. We purchased the 2 hour Alfama neighbourhood and Dowtown tour, what a good choice and bargain. We set of with Numo and visited the Fado Museum (outside only) were he explained to us the type of music it was and had become. We then walked around the narrow old atmosperic streets of the District visiting St. Miguel Church once again outside only and on through to the Downtown area of the city via the Cathederal stopping at several places to be informed of their place in the history of Lisbon. We then went to a cafe bar for a quick shot of Ginjinha which I have to say rather nice. We then went on into Rissio Square for yet more interesting facts and knowledge, on into Rua Augusta for a very tasty pastel de nata. We then walked down to the old Commercial Squre having been informed about the Santa Justa lift (elevator). All in all a very interesting well paced walk and talk by Numo and as always my yardstick is would I do it again with the same company YES! Apologies if you feel the review is a little long but it was worth it

Lisbon was a fantastic experience and the free tours app made it even better! We were able to see all the main attractions, learn about the history of the city and have a great time doing it. It's a wonderful way to get to know Lisbon, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone staying for a few days!
