I joined a pelagic birdwatching tour on January 15, 2022 and had a great experience. We had close encounters with various species of seabirds as well as dolphins. The weather conditions and sea state was a bit challenging but the skilled crew onboard handled everything with ease. You can tell that the organisers and skippers are experienced and has good knowledge of the area. I highly recommend SeaEO Tours!

Amazing tour! The first tour after the long-tough-boring-terrible pandemic lockdown. They're very nice and professional. I saw a big group of dolphins and even the baby dolphin! So cute.... Love love love. This kind of dolphins are very curious and seem to enjoy getting close to our boat. Best view and weather. Thanks to the SeaEO guys. If you want to get rid of your worries and go see the sea and the dolphins, just contact them! It's highly recommended!

It was a really great morning. We saw lot’s of dolphins and the guides were very enthousiastic. They explained a lot about the behaviour of the dolphins and told a few stories about Lisbon as well. Great experience!

We went on this tour at the end of April and it was great: we saw 2 pods of dolphins. One sighting was quite far off but the other we got quite close and had quite a bit of time with them. and got fairly close to one of them. Would definitely recommend!

The boat tour was really great. We really enjoyed the speed of the boat and when the boat jumped into the waves. After 1 hour we found a dolphin population. In the beginning they were shy but later on they made the show, they were swimming under the boat, jumping and there were dolphins everywhere around us. Great experience, the guides were kind and funny. I would like to go back. :)

Since the start the skipper has been very professional with the safety briefing and explaining the procedures, the actions and what to expect. The well trained crew and the well maintained boat are perceived since the beginning like the swift maneuvering in close quarters. The marine biology background of the Skipper come to noticed when detecting the dolphins and the explanations about the different groups and species. Hoping from one group to another we were presented with a spectacle of more than 40 minutes of dolphin watch. The trip has already fulfill the objectives, but the skipper had taken the time to show and explained the history of the monuments seen. A note also for the marine conservation consciousness in the way of the respect for the dolphins, never intruding the activities or the space and also for litter recovering. Excellent experience.

Wonderful excursion. Sid and Ray are awesome, kind, welcoming, authentic and warm. Lot of fun and we saw dolphins two times. Lot of sightseeing and useful info on this wonderful three hours excursion in the ocean, sailing through the shore. It is definitely worth and made our stay in Lisbon exceptional 👏🏻 Thanks so much guys

Very exciting tour on the speedboat. The team's respectful treatment of the wonderful animals should be emphasized. Our host, a marine biologist, was magical and told us lots of interesting facts about the way dolphins live.

I can absolutely recommend this tour! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We saw a lot of different dolphins and ended up in the middle of a cluster of at least 30 dolphins. The sightseeing at the end was very nice too. Thank you for this amazing experience and tour ❤️

After having done quite a bit of tours in other places and countries I know what to expect and therefor what I’m looking for in a company. There usually isn’t a big difference in what companies offer in places like Lisbon that see a lot of tourism, and therefor I always do my research before booking my tours. Respect for the animals as well as for their environment is at the top of my list, always. If I suspect this is not up to my liking, no matter how much I might wanna go out and be on the water, I will not book a tour. With all that being said, I have done two trips so far with SeaEO tours and I am so happy that I did. Sid is an amazing guide that puts his heart and soul into his company. The team is highly respectful to the animals and their environment. (Multiple times they pulled plastic items out of the water that are deadly and destructive to our wildlife) Keeping a safe distance, checking their speed and angle in which they approach the animals, not overstaying their welcome when the animals seem to say they had enough. All of these points might seem like small things, but to keep both sides safe and happy with the encounter, it is from upmost importance to keep them in mind and stick to these rules. And in adhering to these points I can say I had two amazing trips with dolphins coming close to the boat, seeming just as curious to see us as we were to get a glimpse of them. With having done some trips and knowing a bit about the animals and such, I was very happy with how knowledgeable Sid was. He supplied a lot of information I barely ever heard mentioned on other trips and I found that he has a way of pulling you in with his enthusiasm and seems to love interacting with his clients. But next to getting an amazing experience with the sea and its wildlife, this tour offers some amazing sights of the Lisbon coastline as well. Seeing the sights from a different viewpoint is a very nice experience and with all the facts and stories Sid will supply you with, you’re guaranteed to have a good time. Off course these days we also have to wonder some other important things as well, is it safe now with covid? This is for everyone themselves to judge naturally. But I can tell you that Sid and his team do everything they can to keep up with the safety regulations. Hands need to be disinfected before boarding and masks need to be worn on the boat at all times. I will definitely be going out with them again and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who would like the chance to go out on the water and see what it is to encounter dolphins in their natural habitat for themselves! 10/10 would recommend!

The tour to the dolphins was great! Our two guides were very friendly and explained a lot to us about the animals. We were also able to see three different species. I thought it was really good that the animals were not fed and that they were treated with respect. The general rubber boat ride across the sea was also a lot of fun. Don't forget your jacket, sunglasses and hat.

Luckily for us, our boat was accompanied by some pilot whales! We were allowed to observe the animals for a while and questions were answered patiently. The crew was careful both not to disturb the dolphins and to delight the passengers. We felt safe - despite the relatively strong wind and waves - and were happy to be infected by the staff's euphoria. Even without encountering the fascinating sea creatures, we would have had a lot of fun on the tour.

My son and I could not have had a more perfect experience than the one we had on March 6, 2024. Sid and Diego were phenomenal. Not only are they biologists, but also fabulous boat guides as well! Within the first three minutes of leaving the harbor, we encountered several dolphins that were showing off for us! Upon our return from the Atlantic, we were lucky enough to discover the rare harbor dolphins that took our breath away! We finished the tour with the Moscatel toast, and each one of us could not have been more in our glory! Bravo! 🐬

Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. We can highly recommend SeaEO Tours. We were lucky and were able to spot three different species of dolphin yesterday. One dolphin species swam very close to the boat. Many thanks also to the boat driver and our guide, who told us a lot about the different dolphins! They were both super friendly! It was a lot of fun!

Brilliant! We were in Lisbon for my fiance's birthday, we booked the tour on spur the of the moment while walking through town. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The team are great with real knowledgeable of the sea life and local area. The boats carry 12 people so you can get good views all round and don't feel like your packed in for maximum turnover. Within 10 mins the team found the first pod of dolphins, we got close enough with respecting the animals and stayed with them for 5 mins before letting the next boat have a look. After this the team took us out into the sea where we must have been surrounded by at least 20 dolphins, we just floated with them for at least 15 mins while the dolphins approached the boat then finally left. Definitely worth the cost, my fiancé is still talking about it 4 days later!

What an exciting and fun trip. Watching the city fade away as we go deeper and deeper into the ocean with the wind blowing in our face was an unforgettable experience. Exploring for dolphins in their natural environment and finding them put smiles on all of our faces. Thank you very much!

Amazing tour! I usually get sea sick on boats but not on a zodiac like this one. We saw so many dolphins and they were really close to the boat. Great family activity. Our guide was very knowledgeable on marine life and the sites in Lisbon 💛

We had a great tour. We saw so many dolphins who were interested in checking out our boat. We also saw a Portuguese man-of-war, birds, and giant jelly fish. Our guide was very knowledgeable about marine life and offered plenty of expertise about the local habitat as well as the history of the area. He also explained how they are able to view the dolphins without disturbing them. Thankfully, dolphins are naturally curious so I’d guess 20 of them came in small groups at any given time to check out the boat for 2-3 minutes before moving on. It was stunning to see them jumping and swimming all around us. I definitely recommend this tour.

Sid and his crew made this trip absolutely memorable for us - it will be the one to remember for the rest of our lives! They were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Wild dolphins were so amazing of course, but the view of the Atlantic and the scenery of coastline of Lisbon from the boat were also breathtaking. Thanks for this most amazing experience! We would love to do this again.

This was an incredible experience. The SeaEO team are so knowledgable and caring about the sea wildlife and the environment, as well as really good fun. We spotted a large pod of dolphins almost immediately and followed them quietly for a long while as they swam around us. They even had several babies! We then had plenty of time to sightsee along the coast back to Lisbon. This was the highlight of our trip and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Just back from a fabulous trip, quite possibly the best we've done as a family! We saw dolphins in the estuary and then continued out to sea on the rib. Sensitive to the marine biology, informative and lots of fun too. An essential addition to anyone's visit to Lisbon (we were a family of 4 with 2 teenagers)

It was a great tour, our guide Sid was awesome, told us a lot about dolphins and wildlife in general. We were driving for about 5 minutes when we saw a big group of dolphins. We watched them swimming around our boat and doing jumps for about 30 minutes. Was worth every cent!

Had the best time ever on the dolphin tour. It was breathtaking and incredible how close we were to the dolphins and got the chance to see sharks too! The team on board were so knowledgeable and passionate about marine biology. The trip was very ethical and keeping the animals safe was their main priority. Would definitely do this tour again if I were to come back to Lisbon and will 110% recommend to friends who are coming!! Thank you so much for an incredible morning

The view of Lisbon from the Tagus is beautiful, and the dolphins put on a wonderful show. The crew gave several explanations about why they returned to the river, the importance of conservation projects in the country, and were careful not to stress the animals (not getting close, not staying too long, etc.). Afterwards we went for a walk on the high seas in search of another group but nothing came of it. We went to enjoy the view of Boca do Inferno at dusk.

Unforgettable experience! The team at SeaEO was very responsive to our emails and queries when making the booking. Despite the weather, Sid our guide knew exactly where to look for the dolphins. I have never seen them from so close. This put a big smile on my face. We came across 2 pods during the tour and were able to observe their behaviours in their natural habitat. Sid is very knowledgable and gave us a detailed explanation on the different dolphin species. I fully recommend booking this tour, you will not regret it =) The moscatel (Portuguese licor) served at the end, was a nice gesture.

This was an incredible experience. This was our last morning in Lisbon and it was a perfect way to end our trip. We left promptly in the morning and not much later, we were surrounded by dolphins. The excursion was led by passionate and knowledgeable people and we would highly recommend. This will definitely be on our list when we return to Lisbon. What a great morning! Thank you guys!

This was honestly the most fabulous experience. I was initially a bit dubious about taking my 5 year old as I thought she might be a bit too little but it was the highlight of her holiday! She loved every minute. We saw so many dolphins in the wild where they should be and Sid was so knowledgeable we both learnt a lot!

This tour was a highlight of our Portugal trip! Especially our teenagers had extreme fun on the speedboat. And the joy was of course also great when we could watch several dolphins over a longer time. In addition, it's great to see the beautiful city of Lisbon from a different angle. The guides were extremely friendly and were able to answer all questions competently. Thank you again for this great experience!

A perfect start to a Saturday morning in Lisbon. Great staff, very knowledgeable about the marine life and the different parts of Lisbon that you get to see on the boat. Highly recommendable to anyone who is planning to visit. It has been the best part of the holiday so far.

There's such a wonderful feeling to be this close to the wildlife of the ocean. We learned some interesting stuff about the dolphins, the guys from Sea EO are really passionate about their job and you can tell it from the moment you meet them. They explained us from the start that it might be a chance not to meet the dolphins, after all it is the nature.. you can't control it. But they really know what they are doing and after almost 2 hours of searching through the waves and fog, the sun finally showed up and also did the dolphins, swimming around our boat. I strongly recommend this experience!!!

We had a great experience. The communication was very good beforehand and everything was on time. The team was very nice and fluent in at least French, English and Portugese. We found 2 pods of dolphins and the team shared their knowledge with us so we could learn some interesting things. But even if we would not have met the dolphins, the fast boat ride itself would have been so much fun. On the way back the team showed us some of the famous landmarks. Thanks for this amazing experience! I highly recommend it!

A memorable and fun boat trip where we saw several dolphins that came right next to the boat. It was amazing to see the dolphins in their own environment, free jumping and swimming. The guide told about dolphins and other sea animals and also about the sights on the coast.

Had an amazing time during this trip. Spotted 2 groups of Dolphins. First group was around 50 dolphins. Boat was staying still around them so they get used to the boat and then came closer around us. Organization has respect for the animals. Doesn’t hunt them up or goes fast around them. So very happy with this trip!
