Wonderful experience at this famous cafe. Excellent coffee and pastries to be savoured. Kick back and watch the world go by. Don't forget to have a look inside, it's so ornate and old world beautiful. Check out the pastry display cases which are incredible. I'm going back here...

This sculpture stands in tribute to Fernando Pessoa, a Portuguese poet and writer considered one of the most significant literary figures of the Portuguese language. The monument is a larger than life bronze sculpture of Pessoa depicted seated having his regular morning coffee on this same street. There's an extra seat as part of the sculpture for the great many tourists and locals who like to have their selfie taken with the writer.

A wonderful testament to one (or four depending upon how you count) of the greatest Portuguese poets. The square is busy - live music - open air cafe's and the ubiquitous 28 trolley rolling by. A nice place to visit but a shrine for folk who love the book of disquiet.

All coffee-d out, we went for one here to simply add to the culture of the trip. It’s a historical landmark (a bronze, eater depiction of Portuguese writer and literary figure Fernando Pessoa (steps away from the oldest physical bookstore I may add).

It's a simple and bit hidden sculpture. The streets nearby are have plenty of interesting attractions.

It is a great place in crossover with contemporary and heritage decor. The foods and services are good although it is bit cosy. It is worth and not disappointed experience anyway.

Loved the statue of Pessoa, I’m a big fan of his work and this statue is a great stop in the city to pay tribute to a magnificent artist.

Their Pastéis de nata was yummy. They have other desserts options as well. Their Latte is basic. Dont attempt to order any other coffee.

Lovely Biff de Brazilia. Nice bit of steak with coffee sauce. Very interesting n fries. €25. Probably is expensive for Lisbon. Backs chado is a special little place. Music and a McDonalds in the sun 😆

Certainly a tourist attraction. Seems a passage of right that you gave your photo taken here. In the evenings this spot also gives you some live music and dancers. But be kind and do tip them as many seem not to.

Four stars for food . Five stars for the location . Four stars for the ambiance. Five for our waiter . Why one ? The line organiser, white guy with green eyes , I asked to change our table as it is direct on the edge and I have a kid who should not be that close , he refused despite there is one empty table , claimed that he CAN NOT add extra chair to that table . I accepted that , 1 minute later three white guys were given that table and an extra chair was provided . It is just disgusting Very disgusting to feel unfair. One star and I see nothing special to visit that place. Note : they dropped the sauteed mushrooms on the floor next to me that stained my clothes and jeans , but that was acciden . What was not an accident is being rude and color racist. Family with kid and safety issue yet you act ignorant.

A nice enough coffee and pastry and alcohol joint, situated in the heart of lisbon ,usually surrounded with street shows, eas ok , a little pricy in lisbon terms, great coffee

The food was really good but I found it a bit overpriced! But you're in the center of the city and there's often shows that are happening around the restaurant so you have a meal and some entertainment. The next time, I will probably just go for a coffee and pastry. The meal was too expensive for a cafe.

Everything is perfect, except for the price on that orange juice. 6 euros for a juice which isn't even amazing is just a rip-off. Other than that, everything was sublime. If you drop the price tag on that orange juice or make it nicer, then I'll give you the 5 stars. Staff were also very polite and atentious which is a bonus. Will definitely be back and recommend this place. Both the inside eating area and the outside area are great to chill and eat your food despite it getting pretty busy at times.

Just take a photo and avoid the bar , more expensive than Paris ! (Whereas Lisbonne is twice cheap than Paris)

We came as a group of three on a Monday afternoon due to a recommendation of a friend. Our cappuccino and coffees americano were really great. Rarely have I had such excellent coffee! Be aware of possible waiting time for a table outdoor. Still, it's worth waiting the 15 minutes.
