This place is amazing! A very concise museum, absolutely able to transport you to the life and work of Fernando Pessoa. It stays in the place where he last lived, is easily accessible by tram (I am sure, 28E, but there is another one too). Cheap to get into, it also has a restaurant/coffee place inside (with a very worthy menu of the day).

Wonderful place to learn about the personal life and work of this amazing literary monster. The museum was recently remodeled, and the space is amazing. You'll learn about pessoa's private correspondance, the "birth" of the heteronyms, a collection of photos and personal items, and my favorite: his personal book library! Every book was digitized together with the marginalia and the collection is available at the museum website. The personnel is extremely well informed and available to guide you and share what they know.

This place was lovely and if you're in the zone you should totally check it out. It's very small and you can see the whole museum in less than an hour and learn a bit more about one of the most famous Portuguese poets to this day.

Super well put together museum about the writer. Highlights include books from his library and and his actual apartment from the last 15 years of his life. Found it all incredibly inspiring and if you enough to think about coming here, you should. Note, the gift shop was entirely empty of... anything, so don't plan to pick up your souvenir copy of the Book of Disquiet here.

Amazing experience for book lovers. A complete and intriguing journey through Fernando Pessoa's life and his many heteronyms. Exposition put together really well. We spent an hour here, but could easily have stayed another two or three.

You have to visit it to better understand such an important cultural figure and creative mind of Portugal. This place must be an example for other writers and poets houses and Fondations, It shows how you can make tourism and culture with the opera of a great writer. I visited it years ago but it was completely renewed. Casa Fernando Pessoa received the Best Portuguese Museum Award, which distinguished the quality of the project and the ability to renew. The collection is now arranged to accompany and involve the visitor, from the first known written record of Pessoa, at the age of six; until the last sentence he wrote, on the eve of his death.

Me and my girlfriend would have loved to enter, to see the house but they wanted to charge a 1 euro for my girlfriend to store a bag in a locker and that's ridiculous. We are not gonna steal anything, not even a case of stealing, just to store a bag in a locker sounds very strange and we decide not to enter. You should not charge a 1 euro to store a bag.

A small, quiet and meaningful place! Many people visited Lisbon and took many pictures with a Pessoa’s statue at the café brasileira. However, a few people actually visited here. Good to visite!

Excelente organization of Pessoa's material life. Very disappointed with the staff. They have cancelled guided visit at last minute. No explanations given. Absolutely lack of respect with visitors.

Very informative and interesting museum on the life and works of Fernando Pessoa. It’s spread over three floors, and there is lots to see and read about if you don’t rush though it.

Went for a guided tour. Pessoa was really a genius on his time and deserve the very nice job they do in the Casa to present his work and life. I really enjoyed the Game of Disquiet exhibit.

This is the most beautiful and carefully curated museum I have ever visited. From the entry on the top floor to the final installation in Pessoa's apartment, there is no end to the wonders. It's an entirely interactive museum and you can easily spend the afternoon visiting every secret nook and cranny. The staff are extremely helpful and the space beautifully maintained. I will always remember this museum and have since my first visit have returned several times for newer exhibitions. Absolutely recommend.

The best author museum I've been to in my life. To enjoy your visit, you must already know who Fernando Pessoa is, so I wouldn't say it's for regular tourists. The staff was very pleasant. Especially the librarians helped me to get to know Pessoa's texts and told me many interesting information about him. The tickets are almost free.

I visited this museum 13 years ago, and it is currently much better. The exposition has the right amount of interaction with the public, all is presented in multiple languages and the whole visit is not very long. You can find Pessoa translated in multiple languages in the gift shop too.

small but very accurate and interesting exposition, we really loved walking through it. There's also a restaurant which seemed kinda good.

Wonderfully done. Experience the work and learn about the inner life of this unique writer and poet in a remarkably well-conceived space housed in Pessoa's own apartment. You can even sit and listen to his writing read in both Portuguese and English. The staff was also helpful and friendly. A great experience, highly recommend.

Great space with lots of information about Fernando Pessoa and his other characters, amazing personal library and personal belongings where it used to be the house he lived.

Museum that houses Fernando Pessoa's personal library in a building where it was originally his home. You can listen and read poems. House has some personal itens of Pessoa. Some information accessible in braille. 3 floors. Take elevator to the 3rd and if you are able descend the stairs. Ticket costs $5 euros adult.

Loved the exhibition! There is a poetic and modern style of loving once again Pessoa❤

Great curatorial approach, both entertaining and subtle, playful and thoughtful. It does not have anything to do with what one would expect from a typical "memorial house".

By visiting the museum/house of Pessoa you are buckling up for a ride through the wonderful, rich and varied mind of an extra-ordinary Portuguese poet. The exhibition is arranged in a way that makes you stumble upon wonder after wonder, while being provided with enough information and reading about Pessoa. Spent here a great deal longer than I expected to inititally. Recommend!

Such a wonderful exhibit. A true talent only discovered after his death. And his personal library is full of amazing classics. Definitely recommend a visit.
