The water ferry connection to other parts surrounding Lisbon. Easy walk also to the Metro and suburban and regional trains.

The important Cais do Sodré ferry terminal is located on the northern bank of the Tagus, with ferry services to the southern bank of the estuary. The two ferry routes go to Seixal and Cacilhas. After leaving Cacilhas, there is a bus to Chriti Rei Satue, or you can walk west along the banks of the Tagus to the Panoramic Elevator of Boca do Vento. There are beautiful views there.

The drive over to Cacilhas takes less than 10 minutes. The ferry was an old clunker barge, but I kind of like that sort of thing.

Simple and uncomplicated crossing if you have the right ticket. My stomach doesn't expect any luxury. You can get across the Tagus easily and safely.

A ten-minute boat ride across to Calhilas. The ticket office was very helpful. 3 euros return ticket. Not much to see when you arrive but we had lunch there. 3 ferries an hour. It was a nice addition to our trip.

Simply put it is the dock area for the ferries. It felt a bit run down as did the ferries. But. Hey. We got across the river safely....

The dermaga/ port location is just across the Cais da Sodre train station, it easy to reach out. Professional and helpful ticketing officers! It’s clean in the inside of terminal but actually quite dirty inside the fery. Bought and sailed the return ticket for €2,60 it’s worth to sightseeing the LIS.

The place where you can get on the other site of the river. For return ticket you have to pay 3 €. Nice boat expirience.

Take the ferry when you get a chance when visiting. The views are great night or day and it's about 3euro for a two way trip to and from cacilhas. It's a a quick trip across about 10min.

This ferry is included in your daily ticket but I believe the regular ticket is also cheap. Best to avoid it during rush hour as commuters use it to get to work. Boarding in nicely organised as opposed to trains and metro. Beautiful views of the city and the 25 April Bridge, though this is not an open top ferry so make sure you sit by the windows to geg the best views. Not much to do on the southern side of the bay, but there are cafes and restaurants. There is a submarine and a ship there, 5€ entrance fee - we were too late to visit but it looked interesting.

The time is 23.13 on Sunday 15th of January. It's Kevin James Birthday and Benfica and Sporting have just drawn 2-2. We are waiting for the ferry to depart. The two Ian's are drunk talking rot. Me and Jim reckon 5 stars, we'll revert back if we make it across. Over and out.

Worst public transfer compared to different other cities Edit: 2 weeks later again in Lisboa: strike metro. No information in English in the metro stations. Defect elevators, no escalators. Wider exits for people with kids and suitcases out of order... Buses and trams come after 45 minutes waiting, although they are defined all 15min. Bus overfilled so that most people cannot enter

A nice, modern ferry terminal with good information on departures to the various destinations over the Tagus. Really handy if you're traveling onward to Cristo Rei or anything across from Lisbon.

These TTSL boats have the worst smell ever! It is really the worst experience to go on them, it’s like it has never ever been cleaned

This is a big terminal as many boats dock here. Its well marked where to go and you have a seated waiting area before boarding. There is a small supermarket and many cafe/bars. There is free WiFi.

An excellent journey across the water with a 1st class view of Lisbon, as long as the cruisers don't block it too much.

Well google navigation is a joke nice that it wants to show you around complicated ways to the ferry point because of tourist points. Which you can’t assume to be interested all the time . Dear google do your homework for locals and make sure we come down straight to the point ! We don’t want to see palaces and churches we know them and are just interested in the shortest and precis way to the ferry

Cais de Sodre and the seaport adjoining it can be reached on foot from the heights of hill that makes up this part of the city. There is a tram as well as a ferry port in this location.

They don’t tell you that if you buy a 4 voyages ticket, only one person can use it, so we needed to buy another one, waisting money because we now have two voyages we wont even use sorry having my lil rage here, but we’re travelling on a budget and stuff like this is for us not only annoying we asked to get 2 voyages of the ticket transferred to another one but ofc that don’t work well meh
