TL;DR:
interesting
restaurant!
But
that’s
it.
We
tried
Terroir
after
reading
about
it
in
a
Conde
Naste
Traveler
article
and
seeing
that
it
was
Michelin
recommended,
so
just
know
that
we
came
in
with
very
very
high
expectations.
We
wanted
to
try
a
unique
dinner
tasting
menu
in
Lisbon
and
were
willing
to
drop
some
$
for
it
-
so
if
that
is
you
too,
this
review
may
help.
If
there
are
others
you
can
land
a
reservation
in,
my
pov
is
that
you
can
skip
this
one.
Pros:
The
meal
was
creative,
we
got
the
8-course
menu
without
the
wine
pairings.
To
us,
the
desserts
were
the
best
and
the
rest
of
the
meal
was
refreshingly
different/interesting
to
discuss
after
eating
a
lot
of
seafood.
Food
comes
out
fast,
like
really
surprisingly
fast
for
such
a
long
meal!
Some
good
textures
throughout
the
dishes.
Cons:
It
was
not
mind-blowing
for
a
200+
euro
meal
(for
both
of
us).
We
also
had
to
send
one
cocktail
we
did
not
like
back.
Service
is
lack
luster—they
do
not
go
above
and
beyond
to
get
you
excited
about
their
restaurant
or
the
dishes.
They
don’t
describe
the
purpose,
flavor
profiles
or
ingredients
in
great
detail
which
makes
it
less
of
an
experience
compared
to
other
really
expensive
meals
we’ve
had
the
privilege
to
try.
We
wish
there
was
more
contrast,
intentionality
and
depth
in
flavors
and
temperatures
in
the
dishes.
BTW
their
espresso
is
Nespresso
for
3
euro.
Our
whole
meal
was
over
200
euros—pretty
OK
value
for
an
8-course
tasting
menu,
4
glasses
of
wine,
1
espresso
and
1
cocktail.
However,
it
did
NOT
meet
our
expectations
in
food
quality,
atmosphere
or
service.
