One of the most beautiful art galleries in the city - it's quite small, but stunningly curated!

The best small museum in Lisbon, with Vieira da Silva masterpieces, the best portuguese painter of all the times. The public garden in front is very beautiful

The collection of paintings of these two famous contemporary artist really worth a visit. I enjoyed it and recommend it to all museum lovers. It is free on Sunday mornings before 14.They only accept cash so if you want to buy something there, make sure you have money with you. I wanted to buy a postcard but I couldn't pay with my card and unable to find an ATM around.

The gallery celebrates two famous artists, a husband and wife. Viera da Silva is Portuguese, her husband Hungarian. Their work is stunning. He painted abstract landscapes while she painted abstracts. Fantastic to see a female artist given equal attention along with her husband- her accolades are well deserved. Along with rooms full of paintings there is an immersive experience with animated projections and music. I enjoyed it. Visit the kiosk in the lovely park for coffee and cake while you’re here. I stumbled upon this art gallery while visiting the nearby Museum of Water reservoir site, also well worth a visit.

Situated in front of a beautiful park. Perfect size and beautifully curated museum. The film room makes you feel the paintings even more deeply.

Nice artwork. Not too big. Free Sunday mornings for residents of Portugal. Definitely worth visiting when it is free.

Love Vieira da Silva ever since discovering her work in Paris. BUT Disappointed with the organisation of the museum yesterday, not up to the Artist... museum closed for a refurbishment, nothing on the website to let us know so we spent precious time going to the museum just to be turned away.

Just to say that it’s a pity the person in charge (director, board…) is not able to choose properly workers. The person at the entrance (information point) killed my interest in visiting the museum with her lazy and unpleasant attitude towards us when I asked for information. With all that enormous effort to create and support a modern art collection, the whole thing can be spoiled by not taking care of the details. Maybe another day I’ll try to go again.

Amazing how they’ve created the immersive show. It simultaneously tells the story of the artist and all the stories of her work. The museum itself is calm, which allows you do totally indulge in the paintings. I would recommend reading a little on the artists in advance, since their life story surpasses the everyday hustle.

It's a small but nice museum, I just wish there were english descriptions. Worth the 2,5€ discount ticket, not sure if I would have visited it for 5.
