An honest American tourist review: For those Americans traveling to Lisbon, this place is excellent. It’s in a good location, can’t get lost finding it, as well they speak English in case you are worried about having any miscommunications. Food was superb. Here was our meal: Octopus salad - delicious, fresh; we got the two person portion and it was enough for an app Codfish - saltier than anticipated, but codfish is normally cooked this way (first night in Lisbon); slightly fried but overall, food was light with the fresh arugula on top Steak Lidia - signature dish; we ordered it medium rare, definitely was more on the rare side (I’m okay with that, just fair warning); lots of potatoes, overall, a very filling entree We ended our evening with two cappuccinos and a lime tart. All of this together was extremely delicious and we felt filled with food and love by the end. A wonderful atmosphere. The bill came out to 70 euros (oh, we got a 15 euro bottle of wine too :) and two sparkling waters). Quick note: bring vaccine card for eating inside.

I had to book a place around the area for dinner to meet some friends so we were a large group, and I saw the good reviews and decided to give it a go. It was an amazing choice!! Food was even better than expected. Tasted delicious, portions were generous, and service was fast. I particularly enjoyed the pork dish with sweet potato. The meat was extremeley tender and so flavourful. Everyone was really happy with their food and everything looked great. For the price it was great value, not expensive at all for that quality. Highly recommend this place!

This is definitely a hidden gem. High quality food for a fair price, that’s rare nowadays. We went with a big group and we managed to sit together and the service was surprisingly quick, the food arrived almost at the same time. I had the octopus and it was delicious, really soft and well seasoned. The ambience is beautiful and instagrammable. I definitely recommend the restaurant!

We, my fiance and I, went to dine little before 7 pm. They immediately got us in and seated. We chose to have appetizer split between two of us which was enough for both of us. We got our own main courses and desserts and were full. We also got several classes of wine. Everything tasted great and the service was excellent. We ate in the covered outside terrace in the end of october and the infrared heaters kept us warm an cozy. I would totally recommend this place!

This restaurant is a complete gem of a find in Lisbon. On the last night of our short trip and following a mediocre food experience in Lisbon, we checked out Google reviews and found Lidia's around the corner from our apt. Lovely setting tastefully decorated, excellent staff ( in particular Anna who was amazingly attentive, helpful, and hard working). Food was without fault. Wine delicious and well priced, relaxed dining. Highly recommended 👌

Absolutly lovely, really nice decoration and good area apart from old town..the menu is good with a lot of potential, i liked how the plates were presented. Portions are big!! Really generous!! However i was missing some flavour..the pasta that comes with the salmon was missing some punch..the lemon souce was too light. Tuna steak was ok but a bit overcooked.. dessert was nice, i would change the name to cheesecake rather than tiramisu and add crumbs instead of biscuit

Staff, food, ambience, all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - a great, great restaurant! We were here on business. So we researched the available options within walking distance. And we ended up at Lidia twice. And we had sensational service and food in a gorgeous restaurant both times. Please refer to the pictures for details. We ordered several starters, mains, desserts, and wines. They were all excellent. No exceptions. Brilliant!

We had the tune and the lemon cake. Incredibly good, nice service and a very good price. Best experience was that the waitress took the table outside just for the two of us. Highly recommend this place.

Great food and very affordable, especially recommend the dishes of the day! Nice local spot

Hamburger had no bun — but the beef patty was tasty. The sweet potato chips was icy cold, and must have been precooked, definitely not tasty. The lemon meringue was the best dish for the day. Soft, fluffy and light and great with a cappuccino. I’ll be back for some more lemon tart (lemon meringue).

Came here with a couple of friends on a trip to Lisbon. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to fit us in, and I'm glad they did: all the food was delicious! The Portuguese Octopus was fantastic, possibly the most tender I've had. Thoroughly recommended.

A good location for an outdoor dining in an urban area. Very chill. The food is ok good while still can improve a bit to enhance the taste. Many tourists visited them during our visit.

Nice cozy restaurant with great food! The atmosphere was nice and the service was quick and friendly. We ordered the cheese and meat platter, the octopus and the burger. The platter was great, albeit a lot! The octopus was very nicely cooked and quite delicious. The burger was a little bit dry, I think it could have used a bit more sauce. Overall I would recommend this place!

One of our best meals in Lisbon. Simply Delicious. In my opinion, the perfect mix of authentic, traditional and modern. Sizes are good and the prices are more than adequate. On top of that, it has a great athmosphere and a very friendly staff. 100% recommended.

Delicious food and kind staff. Even though the coffee wasn't exactly my cup of tea and they did not know what Latte is I still give 5* because the salmon and octopus was the best I have ever had.

Fantastic meal with very attentive and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and food was great. Try the lime meringue pie, it was delicious and huge portion.

The food was excellent and well priced. We stumbled on the restaurant by accident, and it turned out to be one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at in our 25 days in Portugal/Spain. I highly recommend this establishment. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very little English is spoken, but it worked out just fine. You have to remember, we are in Portugal. I will return again before we leave for USA.

Exzellent food and a very friendly Service. In love with the tuna and the citrone tarte is defenetly worth a sin :) we will be going again soon!

This was the first restaurant we ate at when we came to Lisbon on our vacation. And let me tell you, it was sooo good, that we needed to come here a second time at the end of our vacation. The staff, the concept and the food is just great. We had the salmon carpaccio and ravioli. Fully recommend. Also both times got Panna cotta and can't say anything bad about that either. The second time we sat inside and after 20 minutes some staff put on pretty loud music. That was kinda lowering the experience but still good nonetheless. 10/10 would come back

I love this place, and definitely will come there again! The best thing is that they update menu and always find the way to surprise their guests🙏Octopus and shrimps is just my weak spot, and chef cook it perfectly!

The prawn risotto was delicious ! the grilled octopus and chicken salads were nice too. This place is much better than some other places we’ve tried in Lisbon !

Good mix of cafe, bar & bistro with relaxed service, quality food with both inside and outside spaces. Had octopus cooked well i.e. was not chewy, then small grilled salmon steak and final day tuna steak; all very good (see pic of English menu Feb '23).

First meal I had in Lisbon! And it was amazing. I ordered the seafood trio, and it was worth it. Seafood were fresh and well seasoned. Recommend.

Had lunch today and it was my worst food in Lisbon. Don't order the Cod - should be a portuguese specialty however they overcook and oversalt the fish. Was like rubber. Very bad. Looks good but that's all that it is - looks.

Very nice place. Good service. The food was disappointing. Lot's of soy sauce inside the salad dish. Wasn't able to eat it.

3 Abende hintereinander dort gewesen, weil wir uns einfach wohl gefühlt haben. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. Sehr freundlicher Service, keine langen Wartezeiten.
