Where
should
I
even
begin.
In
2015
I
adopted
an
older,
overweight
dog
that
was
suffering
from
arthritis.
I
visited
her
3
times
and
they
were
very
reluctant
to
give
the
dog
to
me
even
though
she
was
in
the
shelter
for
over
3
years.
Unfortunately
the
dog
died
of
cancer
in
September
2018
so
I
came
back
go
the
shelter
in
November
2018
to
look
for
another
dog
to
save
from
the
shelter.
I
found
a
true
angel,
but
again
they
started
to
give
me
excuses
as
to
why
I
couldn't
adopt
the
dog.
I
visited
4
times
already
and
they
still
don't
want
to
give
me
the
dog
and
gave
several
excuses
"the
dog
is
shy
/
the
dog
is
uncomfortable
/
the
dog
can't
be
trusted"
they
also
told
me
I
need
to
continue
to
visit
her
on
a
daily
basis
and
if
they
feel
comfortable
I
can
maybe
have
the
dog.
The
funny
thing
is
that
on
their
website
they
say
that
they
want
this
particular
dog
to
be
adopted
her
name
is
"Minnie"
but
not
to
me
apparently.
There
are
some
very
good
people
volunteering
at
the
shelter,
but
unfortunately
there
is
one
woman
that
decides
who
can
adopt
and
she
is
uneducated,
arrogant
and
disrespectful.
The
other
volunteers
try
to
convince
her
that
we
should
be
able
to
adopt
Minnie
but
to
no
avail,
the
fact
that
I
already
adopted
a
dog
once
before
from
them,
that
I
visited
Minnie
4
times
already
doesn't
change
a
thing.
Too
bad
that
due
to
one
spiteful
woman
some
dogs
can't
get
away
from
the
shelter
to
a
warm
and
loving
home.
Luisa
Barroso
wants
people
to
give
money,
food
and
their
labor,
but
actually
adopting
a
dog
is
apparently
a
bridge
too
far.
