Music, as is said in practically every culture, is universal, and all music is wonderful. However, I might be able to offer a few things about how the concert was presented to us. I had the impression that the singers were unable to convey their emotions to the audience. They seemed to do a routine and were eager to complete their task and return home. As a musician, I listen to music with all of my ears and expect it to affect my spirit in some way but it didn’t. Also, the concert hall was rather basic. You go grab one of the chairs that were placed on the floor. If it were now, I would attend a dinner with live Fado music for a more unique experience.

Really good! As a musician myself, often highly critical of any live music. It's what we do.. These folks were great! It was a small audience and the singing performers tried their best to get the audience involved and still did! Great voices and very good musicians. Of note, the Portuguese Guitar player was very good! I need to get one of those for my arsenal, but I digress. Fado is not everyone's cup of tea, but this performance was great and just the right length to say you saw, you heard and listened. I would go again. Very good performance! Bravo!

The whole family enjoyed this musical experience. The music was very good. The seating was comfortable, but in lines for viewing only. It was pretty warm inside. Would recommend bringing a fan depending on the time of year. There was a female and a male singer and two guitarists. Beautiful music for roughly a 45 min show. Would recommend.

First experience of Fado. I could not get the most of it as I don't understand Portuguese (my fault). It's not much like Tango where the emotion and meaning comes through even without knowing the language.

First time in a Fado show it was amazing even if you understand the lyrics you can feel it. Just beautiful

Seems to be aimed at tourists. And even though I am a tourist, I have heard Fado before. This is nothing like how Fado is or should be performed. It’s also very strange having Fado performed via microphones and again, another thing that makes it artificial. If you haven’t heard Fado before, I suggest you try one of the bars nearby where you can here something more authentic and better music/voices. And if you have heard Fado before, you will be hugely let down by this show.

Amazing artists! It's a very very impressive show! No food or drinks in show but completely worth taking a break from that anyway. I would 100% recommend doing it! I feel like they really represented the music style more than I could've expected

I think this concert hall is a great alternative to the widespread mix of fado and so-so dinners in bar, where the mix is kind of satisfying, but you neither experience a good fado nor an excellent food. The show was good, professional performers that really could onboard one on the fado journey. Their interactions with the audience were really fun!

Good think to see, but some restaurants around Rossio offers Fado dinners around 20:00, which provides you with food and Fado live in the background. Going for Fado in Chiado was a nice experience, but a bit boring since they sing only in Portuguese. As I said - nice thing as a background for example for dinner, just not the main attraction.

Traditional Portugese music was wonderful, and the venue is very nice. 5 stars if the escalators were working.

What an experience! While visiting Lisbon, we decided to experience Fado music and it was an awesome decision. We purchased tickets a couple of hours before the show - online. The silly Uber driver dropped us at the wrong place. We wandered the area for a good half hour, in and out of alleys. Most restaurants and bars in that area had live Fado music. Finally, we found the theater. It was on the 3rd floor of a much larger building. The experience was amazing. Both the singers and the 2 musicians were Uber talented. A must-see experience for those visiting Lisbon for the 1st time.

Great musicians, however 19 euros for 1 hour is a bit rich. No beverage service neither. Fix the duration to 90m and beverages and it’d be a 5

The Fado show has been a truly incredible experience! We really loved it ! And will definitely recommend it to all of our friends who are coming to visit Lisbon ! This is definitely a unique experience that must be seen when in the City ! It embraces a big part of the Portuguese culture that we might had never knew if we didn't attend! Super happy that we did !!!

Chose Fado in Chiado at the recommendation of a local musician. Its a bit different presented as a short concert vs music over dinner in a local bistro. This gave us the chance to experience it with more local folks than tourists. It was worth it. The musicianship and singing was exceptional and the audience loved it.

Impressive guitarists, talented singers and all around good show. There is no food or drink, the venue is a theater. They did some sing along, so that depends on your taste.

The perfect way to finish our holiday in Lisbon. Emotional, nostalgic, culturally profound experience. The singers and guitarists were outstanding. Highly recommended. For all ages.

Very authentic and retro sweet atmosphere. Excellent voices of singers(female and male) with deo guitars( one of them is Portuguese guitar with 12 strings and it has unique melody, which gives characteristic multitonalty to Fado music

We had an amazing experience with this Fado concert. It's in a nice part of town and the performers engaged the audience both in English and Portuguese. It felt short but it was magical. To make this perfect it would be nice to have food or drinks at the same time.

Really nice performance! We didn't want to do the dinner/fado show offered at different restaurants because we were all day walking and are used to an early dinner. We found this experience the perfect solution. After dinner at 7 pm daily. Interactive show where you can join the singers here and there. We enjoyed it a lot and recommend it if you want to have a very nice evening.

Great option for those who don't want to combine dinner/drinks and fado music. Fado in Chiado is strictly a concert, with two guitar players and two singers. The venue is in the 3rd floor (the signs you follow, taking the escalator, all indicate 2nd floor due to the difference in the European and the US floor numbering system) and it is a first come first seated basis, but there are always seats available. Photography/video allowed but without flash. The show duration is about 50 minutes. Very good experience.

Great singers and amazing guitarists! If you want to listen to traditonal Portuguese music, this is highly recommended.

The artists were excellent. I search for Fados to enjoy without having to have dinner or drinking. It was not intimate, nor very emotional so I wouldn't give it 5 stars, but I would go again. It's worth it to have a live music experience as a tourist to get a taste of Portuguese culture.

I really liked the place and the Fado. However I would like to recommend perhaps some slideshow with translations or the lyrics to the songs on the back. I enjoyed it much more than my partner because I do speak Portuguese and he doesn't. If people get to understand the lyrics it will get even more precious for the public. Nonetheless a very nice show I would recommend to anyone visiting Lisboa.

Amazing experience to finish the summer night in Lisbon. Warm, genuine, skillful artistic performance. Your heart opens up to the sounds of the Portuguese guitar and the music of Fado.

Ok I understand that the show is mainly a tourist attraction but tourists should not be treated like they have never watched a show or listened to a fado or music in their lives before. The musicians' and director's intention and mood were good but the show itself wasn't satisfying (and I m not talking about the duration) and seemed kind of amateur. I think they have work to do.

Excellent show for an hour. The guitar players were skilled and wonderful and accomodations for different languages were thoughtful. I would bring my friends to this show

This place is overrated, thean at the entrence is so rude and we waited 2 hours at the que and could not get a chair inside. He said it will take ten minutes to get chair but it took 1 hour. They gave us chair after the music ends. Sangria was the worst I have ever tried

Great experience. Though I don’t know much about fado and those old days, I can feel the emotion from the music.

A really beautiful show, the performers were really good and the sitting comfortable, concluding the whole show was worthwhile even tho it must differ significantly from the original traditional fado in the taverns
