Best place on Hearth 💖 clean sand, the blue water, the amazing Sunset 🌇, plus the restaurant was refurbished recently (June 2020). Great for family with children as the beach Water forms small lagoons. WC available, parking in summer is difficult specially in the morning. You can witness and help fishermen pulling the nets full of beautiful fish... Overall, you have to go to believe.

Clean beach for vans and naturists, perfect sunset - very calm during the night.

A much calmer vibe than the beaches closer to Costa centre. With lifeguards present between June 1st to Set 30th. Restaurant/Bar with drinks, food and a big carpark. Wide and long area with gold sand. Beautiful sea suitable for surf and other sports but also calm enough for young families.

Lovely beach, we come regularly, but I was saddened (and disgusted) today by the number of cigarette butts left on the sand. The beach is not an ashtray, pick up after yourselves! I took a picture of what I casually picked up in 15 minutes, using a small plastic bag I had with me. It’s particularly bad around the restaurant, also.

Brilliant and spacious beach with lots of beach bars, great waves and surfers. Sea is active.

The beach is gorgeous and vast, water is pristine and normally calm. The bar however, although renewed is filled with kids that know nothing about service. Asked for a coffee, took 20min and 2 employees to bring it, and the bar wa's empty. The prices are tourist eaters, meaning, food is below average but way too expensive.

Nice beach and nice bar for cocktails! But the food is not as good as elsewhere in this area. The sun beds and umbrellas are charged 20€ a day.

Very pretty and calm except it’s right under the landing route for the airport! Like literally under! If you like seeing planes decent this is the beach for you, otherwise somewhere else would be better 😜

Beautiful beach! Amenities: Parking is free and available. Toilets are free also. Restaurant is there and has delicious food (not pricey at all). The beach has also lifeguards. Water is clear and waves are amazing. I would ask everyone to clean up after themselves and pick up 1 piece or rubbish that you find that does not belong to you - as a thank you to this beautiful beach.

This beach is part of a long sand stream from Trafaria in direction to CABO Espichel. A large free parking, and a recommended restaurant also ready for events. At low tide have a splendid hiking along the sea!!

Pretty place, there are sunbeds and some food places nearby. You can learn to surf as well. It can be incredibly hot during this time of the year so the sand can be scorching to walk on. Otherwise, it is a lovely stretch of a beach.

Best to come during a weekday to avoid weekend crowds. Few parking at Praia Mata. Expansive beach great for super long walks. Restaurants along beach in case you're hungry. Easy to find using Google maps.

I never imagined Portugal had such beautiful beaches! Nice wind, hot sand, direct sunlight, but cold water. So relaxing and beautiful... convenient restaurant nearby of the same name.

Loved the big waves that day. Fair prices on the sunbeds aswell. Though the food service was a mess.

Two different menus for tourists, one for locals, 25% increase on price for tourists. I wouldn't recommend. White sangria on one menu €15 White sangria on other menu €20 Like this for lots of products $$$ €10 for a chair for half a day..

Perfect services, all staff is bi or trilingual, plus there is a massage service. It's definitely the place to be when you want to chill

Beautiful but bring something that can block the wind. Also the sea is freezing cold which surprised us a bit

My favourite beach to be and to go for a swim. Simple, neat, nothing crazy going on, obmne can just relax and enjoy.
