The negative points (and this the reason only for 4 stars) are the walking you need to do from the parking until the beach and the stones on the water. The prices, 14€ for the umbrella I think is also expensive. But all this will be forgotten when you arrive to the beach. You must walk to the Praia do Monte Branco where the place is also amazing. At the end of the day there is a kind of tuk-tuk that can bring you up all the way up. The price is between 2€ and 3€ per person. I think is very expensive but it's a choice.

Super beautiful beach with refreshingly cool water in which you can escape from the sun. There is a small swimming area separated off from the main body of water to keep the swimmers safe which was nice. There are Kayaks and paddle boards for renting which I would definitely recommend as you can paddle to the rock in the water and the ln through the crack in the middle of it which was quite cool.

Not so close to Setúbal. 15 minutes by Uber. Possible to go by car, Uber, bus (not always) Anyway, really nice place. If you want to go by bus you have to take a bus in Setúbal (to the train station for example)and stop in Praia de Figureiras. There you can find a bus "special edition" that will move you until Praia do Creiro. There is a bar / restaurant on the beach (a bit expensive - 1 maindish 15euro) anyway the sea is wonderful. Water really clean and not full of people.

Wonderful beach but beware of burglars! We came here late October and it was very quiet. The beach is super nice!! The restaurants were closed but it is an easy walk to Praia do Portinho da Arrábida where restaurants were open. Unfortunately though when we returned to our rental car the rear window was smashed. Just pure vandalism I think as there was nothing in the car and they didn’t even look inside (doors still locked).

Praia do Creiro is one of the best beaches in Serra da Arrabida. To get to the beach you have to walk down the hill through a paved path, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Serra Da Arrabida and the ocean. There is a good parking lot and good structure on the beach with bars and restaurants. Definitely a gorgeous place!

Stunning beach in Setúbal. You can easily go there by public transport from Lisbon even if it might take a while (Fertagus + bus 4472). There are rocks in the sea but if you go to the left side of the beach, where there are also less people, you will avoid them while getting into the sea. There's also a bar if you'd like to eat and drink as well. Totally recommend it!

Nice beach but a vit dirty after the cyclone and nobody really took care if it anymore at the end of the season. Be aware of the parking lot scammers next to the main road before the police checkpoint! They will actively approach you in the car and charge you 4 euros before you even can consider to drive downhill to the beach. Because it's free to park downhill next to the beach!

Truly otherworldly beach! So special and so secluded. I feel so grateful to have visited. Highly recommend a visit if you’re able. Two things to consider: 1. Getting to the beach involves a somewhat strenuous walk up/down a hill. I managed to do it, but it was quite tiring. 2. If you are a tourist coming from Setúbal during off-season, it’s very tricky to get to and from this beach. My sister and I took an Uber to the beach, but our Uber driver informed us that it would be hard to book a return Uber. He was absolutely correct. We tried to book an Uber around 5:30 pm, and there were absolutely no Ubers in the area. I ended up calling a local taxi company (Taxis Setúbal), and they came to the rescue. Our driver was excellent, and the company was communicative and efficient. All this to say— make sure to plan accordingly when you visit this incredible beach! The logistical hurtles are totally worth it.
