Very nice beach with nice clean sand, a flat way into the sea and nice waves even with little wind. Ideal with kids. Parking is a nightmare though and on the weekend there is a lot of traffic towards the beaches.

Praia do Rei, located in Costa da Caparica, Portugal, is a stunning refuge on the edge of the Atlantic. With an extensive stretch of golden sand and crystal clear waters, it attracts visitors in search of tranquility and natural beauty. The waves here are perfect for surfing and bodyboarding, attracting water sports enthusiasts. In addition, the beach offers good facilities, such as bars and restaurants by the sea, where you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes. It's worth exploring the trails and dunes that surround the beach for incredible panoramic views. A true paradise waiting to be discovered.

A wonderful little restaurant by the sea. The staff are kind and patient with foreigners and the food is yummy. Try the octopus salad.

This is everything we want in a restaurant- simple fresh food. Something for everyone, even kids. We ate fresh fish most days, varying from sea bream, salmon, swordfish, and sardines, to clams and omelettes for the kids. Great gin and tonics and watching the sun set. Friendly service.

5 stars for the beachirself, 3 stars for the car access road. Terrible experience trying to get out at the end of the day taking sometimes 30 minutes just to get out of the "park"

.Atlantic ocean so water cold, nice sandy beach with dunes, quite a breeze though, so use dunes as windy brakes. A number of bars / restaurants

Amongst the 100 of beaches in the Lisbon area, this is the one we chose to visit. Every weekend, also during winter. The restaurant is one of the few that remains open all year long...

On positive side the beach was very clean beach, parking lot close by. On negative, very dusty parking lot, no place to change clothes and the water was freezing.

Not to much crowded, good parking lot. Very clean views over the full beach.
