I stayed here for two nights and I have already reserved two more visits for later in the year! All four owners are very friendly and great hosts, as are the rest of the staff. The hotel is very well thought out. If you are looking for fun, or just here to chill and relax then you will not be disappointed. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean, and the heated pool, sauna and steam room are all beautifully appointed. A good simple breakfast is included. ā€¦ā€¦.. if you get the opportunity stay for lunch. Delicious!!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!! Gary

This is one of the most special spaces for men Iā€™ve ever been to. Itā€™s welcoming, body positive, and has good energy. Whether youā€™re coming for a day pass to the pool or staying over night, their staff goes above and beyond to make you feel taken care of. It feels more like a friendly house then a hotel - but with very clean facilities and exceptional guest services. The staff knows all the guests by nameā€¦and even one night they made us fresh tea from herds from their garden. I cannot express how much this place means to me. Itā€™s a luxury that itā€™s only a short ride from Lisbon - and 10 minutes from gorgeous beaches. I highly recommend booking a multiple night stay (or at least come for the day to relax at the pool and sauna) - you donā€™t want to leave!

A fantastic gay resort, with extremely attentive staff. For this reason alone, they deserve a 5 star review. They allow day visitors which means the talent comes to you! They have a large hot tub, heated salt water pool, and dark rooms, sauna, and steam room. It can get busy at weekends, to the point all sun beds are taken, however the great thing is that day visitors are let in only after 13:00 until around 20:00. You are allowed your own guest in free of charge, in that event of finding your true love on Grindrā€¦ The rooms are clean, and all have aircon, a free large safe (my laptop fitted in), and a telephone. All the rooms are a slightly different layout, and rooms the pool the rooms have TVā€™s, whereas the garden rooms donā€™t have them. The rooms are very basic, although clean and very well maintained. I feel it would have been beneficial to have a fridge in the room for your food and drinks. The bar is very well stocked and open until midnight. They serve a lovely little continental breakfast and fresh coffee and OJ, with hot scrambled eggs on a weekend too. During the day, they have a basic offering of ham, cheese, or tuna toastie. It would have been great to have an equally easy, but more substantial meal to allow us to stay in a few of the nights. Something like like a pizza or burger with fries maybe? The venue was safe, in terms of both physical security (totally private and secure), and with ensuring ALL guests were either vaccinated or recently Covid negative. The staff wore masks indoors, as did most guests - although if you forgot it to nip in for a drink, this wasnā€™t an issue, staff were pleasant. This had a wonder mix of people. At a crude guess, 50% bear (owners and the general aim is for bears), 20% older gentlemen, 20% ā€˜ordinaryā€™ guests and 5% younger. It was clothing optional, and as a younger (chubby, but not bear) couple, we felt totally comfortable. We didnā€™t feel like we needed to ā€˜conformā€™. Locally within 10 minutes walking distance, you have a great burger place (itā€™s a cafe that does lots of modern, healthy, and wholesome food), and an amazing pizza place. Both speak great English, and have amazing food. Use Bolt or Uber to be lazy, and Uber Eats is welcome to be ordered to the resort too. The area isnā€™t touristic however, and thereā€™s nothing to see or or. Saying that, we had a hire car and Lisbon is only 25 minutes away over the bridge. Parking, by the way, is free and ample outside on the street perfectly safe. Parking inside the secure compound is ā‚¬10 a dayā€¦ but even the owner said the street was absolutely fine, safe, and has the whole quiet street to park on. Oh, and beach 19 (the gay beach) is a short drive or taxi away. Thereā€™s a lovely stretch of popular beach and the cruising area right behind it. Take wet wipesā€¦! I think thatā€™s about it. Iā€™d highly recommend this haven, and can easily be likened to the Gran Canaria gay resorts that we know and love. Thanks for an amazing stay, and for being so welcoming.

My husband and I visited Portugal for the first time for his birthday in Nov 2021. We stayed at Villa 3 for ten days. Villa 3 is paradise on earth. It is beautifully kept, centrally located and very clean. The hot tub and the heated pool were welcomed amenities after long days of exploring. Delicious breakfast was included each day of our stay. Marcos, Eddie and Fernando were very friendly, funny and attentive which made our travels more enjoyable. We also visited their Lisbon Bar called Bar 3 which was as charming and enchanting as the owners themselves. If you find yourself visiting magical Lisboa, Villa 3 is the place to be. It is safe, fun and relaxing. It will enhance your trip to the next level.

We had a very enjoyable stay here at Villa 3 Caparica, we only wish we had stayed longer! Everything about the rooms and the hotel grounds was always super clean and up-to-date and really not lacking anything. Breakfast was very yummy with the best coffee made to order. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating and pointed us in the direction of some really excellent local restaurants, many within walking distance. Very highly recommended!

I have never felt more welcomed and accommodated while traveling as I did at Villa 3 Caparica. Marcos and Eddy have created a vacation destination that provides everything you could need to escape and relax. Their property beautiful! We cannot wait for our return to Lisbon and next stay at Villa 3 Caparica.

The perfect place for relaxed holidays in Portugal, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon to really relax but close enough to dive into its nightlife or dine at awesome restaurants. Praia 19 is just a stone throw away. The owners really make you feel at home and are wonderful people. Here for the second time but definitely not the last one! And try attending one of their pool parties!

Stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't be happier. Had a great time lounging by the pool and enjoying the facilities. The hosts were extremely helpful and gave great tips on where to visit in the city. Guests were friendly and was able to start up conversations with some of them. Beach was a short taxi ride and some good food options are available within walking distance from hotel. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Sauna is 2m x 2m. Steam room bigger. Both owners were punishing me for not paying 185 euros plus tax for a room. I explained to them that was outside of my budget. Told me I could not use the gym which consisted of two cardio machines and a broken set of adjustable dumbbells. One guy who did pay that much for a room was talking to an owner who didn't even look up from his phone. They should not be in customer service. "You can't bring in water - you must buy it here". Not in every other sauna I've been to in Europe. They are not truthful and they accuse customers of lying. Two night minimum at the hotel because when people find out the most substantial food served is a ham and cheese sandwich, they want to leave. They will drop the two night minimum if asked. Located next to the highway with no bars, restaurants or grocery stores nearby - even with a car. Their cheapest room is 116 euros plus tax with no TV. I recommend getting a room downtown Lisbon and just paying 20 euros for a day pass - after eating lunch. The place is really boring after the day visitors leave.

Villa 3 completely exceeded our expectations! The owners and staff are incredible and will treat you like family! We truly enjoyed our week long stay and will be coming back soon! The rooms are beautifully done! Bathrooms are so nice. The location is perfectly sandwiched between Lisbon and the beaches of Caparica! So many options!

As soon as I arrived at Villa 3, I was made welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful, showing me to the villa I was allocated for my ten day stay. It was spotless. Everything required was at hand, and I was shown the facilities in the hotel, such as the jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool and steam room. Throughout my holiday, I was cared for by the staff and also met other guests who were helpful and supportive. The only problem with the holiday was that I had to return to the U.K.! I had a perfect, relaxing holiday, with ideal company in perfect surroundings. I cannot praise the villa enough.

The place is clean and thorough. The bartender Gustavo is great, friendly. Depending on your purpose, it is a bit remote. Not close access to the beaches, and my Uber from Lisboa city to the resort was ā‚¬12 to the property and ā‚¬27 back to Lisbon center. So add about ā‚¬40 to your estimate if you are not staying there at night. Maybe a shuttle to and from their bar and resort would be beneficial.

My husband and I celebrated our honey moon in Lisbon. We found this place. From greeting to entertaining, those guys are exceeding the expectations. They are also local and recommend local restaurant to go toā€¦ if you ask. So engage with them and they are a sister bar in Town to go to as well. I wish it would be a bit busier, but post Covid, slow startā€¦ Marcus, Ed & Fernando (I hope I get the names right) are brilliant and deserve to be busier. You can get day pass for your friends if they donā€™t stay with you. It is clean and high quality facilities. I could have done with more shelving units in the room for our clothes as we stayed 10 nightsā€¦ but this is subjective and only a wish. Does not stop me to recommend the place and those guys. Keep pushing on themed nights and dinnersā€¦ u have the spaceā€¦ BBQ pool party to connect all the residents would have been good.. good for thoughts! See you next time!

The property is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are clean and well designed. The pool and facilities are well kept and beautiful. This is a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday. The sauna, jacuzzi and pool are all well maintained and clean. The grounds are immaculate. The owners and staff are the best part. They are so friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble from any of the team. They arranged restaurant reservations, cars, and the managers were a wonderful source of information for local things to do. The bar team are not only very handsome, but exceptionally professional and attentive. Thanks so much. We will be back.

    - Easy access to highway and public transportation to go to Lisbon if you have business to do there or to go to the nearby beaches; - Clean room, with very comfortable mattress and fresh linen. They have days passes so you can meet invite in people to meet them in a nice friendly environment. - Very beautiful gardens, with a beautiful walk of white stones and succulent plants with some tables to seat and have a coffee or a beer at the end of the day; - Very relaxing poolside with many sun beds and space to go around naked without outside viewers; - All the Covid Safety measures are kept to make sure you have a safe stay; - The owners are very friendly and attentive to every detail and every guest making sure you have a splendid time while you stay there. - I 100% recommend this hotel for a quick business trip like me or I can see myself staying here for a bigger time for some vacationing.

What a wonderful surprise this place was. I went with my boyfriend for our summer holiday in August 2021, we had a fantastic time. Nice mix of busy fun weekends (they open up the place for outsiders to party) and relaxing weekdays by the pool. The owners are super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Next time we would probably go for one of the bigger rooms - we got one of the small ones and it felt a bit cramped (but we were barely in the room!)

What a delightful relaxing holiday we had at Villa 3 Caparica this week. Marcos, Eddy and Nando were fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. You can spot the attention to detail in every corner and the facilities were excellent, clean and well maintained. Will definitely revisit again, thank you for everything.

Today I tried to cancel my booking 2 weeks in advance and they wonā€™t give me my money back! Itā€™s absolutely bad business model. I had to cancel due to work schedule. I canā€™t really change the dates for a future time as I donā€™t know it yet. They wonā€™t give me back 580 ā‚¬! Not so friendly from a place that is supposed to welcome you! Please be careful when you try to book anything from this place! Itā€™s a trap!
