😐 Cute place, the food was good but we had to wait for SO LONG to have our dishes. I understand that it takes a little longer when the place is crowded but 40min is just too long for a brunch place to me. They have forgotten one of our dishes as well. People often mention good, breakfast, great, staff, nice, friendly, delicious, service, pancakes, recommend,

Had breakfast to go from here. Coffee was great, food was great, and the people were super friendly and kind. Nutella pancakes and red velvet pancakes were terrific. I highly recommend.

Another dog friendly cafe that we appreciate. The pancake is in a medium to big portion👍🏻. The sandwich is good for a light lunch. Both are in good flavour

Such a yummy spot that we went twice for breakfast here! Everything we tried was delicious. The service was sometimes not ideal, we had some issues getting water and the waiter misheard one of our orders but the quality of the food still warrants a 5 star rating

This place is purely for aesthetic everything is really poor. I ordered avo toast. Bread was practically raw & eggs were cold. Ordered filtered water and was given tap water. Waiter seemed like he didn’t want to be there as the service was terrible

No animosity here - I knew what I was in for when we decided to sit down. Basic, brunchy food with no remarkable flavours. In the words of my mother "does the job but not spectacular in any way". The staff are nice, the location is very convenient, and you're out of the sun on hot days. Was it the worst meal of my visit to Lisbon? Yes. But only because local food is so good and the other restaurants are fantastic. In sum: don't bother unless you're super hungry and out of options.

The service was really nice and the menu offered a great variety of sweet and savory dishes which made it a little hard to choose from. I went with the Falafel and thought they were very delicious. I’d come back here anytime if I lived in Lisbon. If you have the chance to try this place out - go for it!

The looks and the ambiente/atmosphere are definitely top. However the very slow service takes away a lot from the experience. The Granola with Greek Yoghurt and Fruits was really good and I would recommend this for everyone getting their breakfast there, but for some other dishes the value you get does not really match the price.

Tasty breakfast with a lot of good atmosphere and service. Located in a not so busy street but atmosphere from this and other restaurants around in great. Try

What a wonderful place. So chilled, really nice background music, superb food and friendly staff. Service was excellent too. I had french toast with yoghurt, banana and strawberries. It was superb. Wife had pancakes and strawberry jam. We loved our break here. Can't wait to return.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at this breakfast spot twice now, and both times it was exceptional. The meals are delicious, freshly prepared, and the menu offers a great variety. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive

We were seated politely but had to wait a long time until the long haired waiter took our order. He was alone so I understand him trying to cater to everyone but it isnt good enough. Anyway at least the food came didnt disappoint and we liked everything, especially the açai bowl 👌🏻 would recommend here more on an empty weekday :)

Brunch at Café Basilio in Lisbon was fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious and nicely arranged and the staff is very friendly. Plus, it's great value for money. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Great atmosphere. Attentive service with a friendly smile. The food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the pancakes with eggs and bacon. You can also get a bruch coctail for 5 EUR to complete the experience!

I came in as soon as they opened as read that it can get busy during the day. The menu has English descriptions so you know what you're ordering if you cant speak the language. My toast and smoothie came in less than 5 minutes and were absolutely delicious! The place looks beautiful too :) staff was very nice and understood that I couldn't speak Portuguese. I would highly recommend this for breakfast :) good vegan options

Great breakfast spot. Food was delicious and fresh. Staff super friendly and attentive. The food took a little bit longer than expected to arrive (about 20 minutes) but to be fair it was quite busy that morning. It seems to be a popular restaurant for brunch so expect to wait for a table.

I love Basílio since forever. It’s my go-to place whenever I need to reunite with my friends or family because despite the space being small, the food is amazing and the staff treats you just like part of family. And the aesthetic of the place is amazing - you can take some pretty amazing photos there too!

A place with a theme "never grow up" has to be something special. And it is. The food they offer is finally a bit different, and not the same repetitive dishes. Good food, great stuff.

Very nice, kinda niche, urban bistro, very close to the city centre. The interior is very nice, a lot of greens, cozy, has a great feeling! The food was excelent!

Great breakfast/brunch. The place was buzzing with a queue to get in. Lovely eggs and pancakes...simple, tasty, and well presented. Other food I got a glimpse of looked just as good. Good selection of coffees:-)

Stopped in for a great lunch early this afternoon. The menu is filled with fruits and vegetables, which are exactly what we needed after flying for 12 hours. The food was excellent and the portion sized were generous. We stopped in a few days later for drinks and ordered sangria - it was good and gave a nice buzz!

Nice place with healthy food options. We’ve been there during the happy hours and we had their promotion for drinks. Also, food tasted amazing. The waitress was friendly and quick to bring out the food.

Really friendly staff, service was on the slow side but they are signs on tables to say the food is cooked to ordered so the wait times are longer. We did not have an issue with this. We visited for breakfast. The coffee was good and food was tasty. Decor is also fabulous. Recommend, it is a nice spot!

We came here for breakfast during our weekend trip. The food was delicious and they offered a good variety of savoury and sweet options. Vegan meals were available too. The staff though was quite unfriendly and we didn't feel welcome at all. It's a pity because the place has a lot of potential and it's in a good location.

Overall experiences: very nice 😎Vibe: Very comfortable but we where freezing while it’s cold outside the open air conversation and didn’t want to close it 🤷🏻‍♂️ ☕️Coffee: good, very innovative Design : Bourbon nurban You should know: It gets very busy at 10am 🛠Suggestions: try not to frizz us

Good breakfast! The staff was not paying too much attention and sometimes forgets your order, but other than that it was a nice place. They have a lot of breakfast options!

I’m sorry but it is not okay to serve something like this to anyone. Is the fruit being washed/checked at all ? Strawberries full of black parasite eggs. I’m pregnant and I am worried now that I just ate food with parasites before noticing it. It’s a health hazard to a normal person never mind pregnant women who have to be careful about the quality and cleanliness of their food.
