I’ve been coming here almost every morning for the past month. The coffee and service are excellent. They have published from Brazil. That’s pretty darn good too. But the real show stealer is the cheesecake. I’m from the United States. So very picky with how cheesecake is made. I thought this was one of the best I’ve had. The staff are very pleasant to deal with and the service is great. Definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for a great cappuccino or other specialty coffee. One more thing worth mentioning is that you can’t use your computer on the first floor. But if you walk upstairs, they have a few spots where you can work from. Keep that in mind if you’re looking for a place to work from.

This was a favourite spot of mine. The coffee is great and the staff are friendly. But their new found war on laptops has made the place feel unwelcoming. I get that small coffee shops struggle with people sitting with a single coffee and hogging a table for 8 hours. But there is no denying that remote working has played a big part in these small coffee shops popping up everywhere in the first place. Some places have handled this well by limiting laptop use during peak hours or having laptop specific seating. You can come, chill with a coffee, and do some work, without taking over the whole coffee shop. But Brew have placed "No laptops" signs on every single table. And changing the password code to "we are not a co work" just seems needlessly aggressive. Completely cutting out a steady stream of regulars seems like a bold choice and gives the shop an air of "drink your coffee and get out." It might explain why the place is completely empty at midday on a Saturday 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fantastic service and excellent coffee. Had a great chat about the beans and the owner made us a split shot so we could try them out. A must visit for a great espresso.

Nice cozy cafe, with good coffee vibes. I had esspresso and it was good with mild flavours. They serve light breakfast as well and have a small variety of pastries. There is a gallery floor with a comfortable table to work on. There are few tables to sit outside and few small tables inside. Comfortable for very small groups, couples, or solo. The service is warm and fast. The prices of coffee are on the higher end.

The pictures are from 2022 but I have come here both 2022 and 2023 and tried both their chemex and v60 brews and a handful of foods. They have great single origin coffees and even when they suggest a bean I don’t usually drink it is always good. They just know how to brew a good cup. The food is simple but great for a light breakfast with your coffee if that’s your thing. My favorite was the yogurt bowl. It was my go to location last year and will be my go to this year! They’re always very friendly as well!

This place gives me Soho vibes! Loved the atmosphere. The ladies behind the bar are very friendly AND the coffee, probably the best in Lisbon. Not burned, very low acidity and not hot burning. Just PERFECT!

Super nice coffee place, with probably the best cappuccino I had in Lisbon until now. Also a good place to get some work done. They have wifi and enough places to sit. Normally it's not too crowded. Really can recommend that place.

V60 coffe and sourdough toasts with avocado was tasty, as well you can add more salt or paper in it as an option. Good for people who take care of the amount of salt they eat. Coffee was incredible taste. I payed 3€/cup + 1€ for beans i guess. I am ready to pay here this price instead of going to Starbucks as coffee there promising but not being good..

I was visiting Lisbon for the weekend & the place I was staying was right across the street from here. I visited 3 times in my 4 days in Lisbon. Really cute cafe, chill cafe music, I only had the cappuccinos & yogurt bowls again & again, but they were both great. I only speak English & Spanish & the staff were always really nice & spoke English with me.

Nice little place for a quiet coffee and bite to eat. The food is well prepared and nice. The service of the staff is very friendly and kind. They are attentive and ensure the tables are kept clean. Not many places if you want to work while having a bite as they have a no laptop policy (but this I understand as there are lots of people who abuse this.) Maybe they could consider a policy that says you can use the table with your laptop while eating over a certain value? Just an idea.

I'm very glad I found this spot. As someone who loves coffee and is a coffee nerd, this specialty coffee shop is very satisfying. There are a dozen brew options to choose from, multiple varieties to choose from, and excellent coffee brewing technique. Even the batch drip coffee is great quality. Don't pass up the pastries, they're made in house and are good, my favorites are the pastel nata and the cheese bread.

Nice place, great coffee and really welcoming atmosphere. Both staff members were friendly, but Thiago was especially amazing, telling me all about the coffee, and giving some really cool recommendations for the city!

Very friendly staff that speaks a variety of languages, including English. More expensive than your typical Lisbon cafe but obviously much better quality coffee. Good baked goods too. Highly recommended

Just landed in Lisbon for the first time and was craving a coffee as soon as i got to the hotel. Randomly found this place online and thought I would walk over and give it a go, and how lucky I was to stumble across this place! The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating and my mocha was 10/10. They have a pretty extensive menu of specialty brews which I look forward to sampling again while I’m here. I would definitely recommend Coffee in Brew if you are in need of a caffeine fix.

Not really cozy and friendly, they have menus on every table but nobody will serve you, which is not obvious because the place has 2 floors. Also some staff make you order from a specific spot where the toilet door and everybody pushes you in the back, because the hall is pretty narrow. The signs with anti laptop policy at every table, signs with not to bring food with don't look welcoming at all.

A great place for freshly roasted drip coffee and breakfast near the Marquês de pombal. If you are near Marquês de Pombal this is a great coffee with great service.

What an amazing find. The coffee here is superb! All the staff seem very nice and were very accommodating. They seem to really care about the coffee and want the customer to have a good time. Definitely worth a stop as it's one of the best coffees in town.

Really nice place to enjoy a good speciality coffee. The place is cozy and welcoming. The barista did a very nice brew, my coffee was full of flavors, changing a lot the temperature drop. They even provide you tasting instructions to make sure you have the best experience. This is now my new coffee spot in Lisbon. Thanks ! 🙏

Excellent service! Easy to order at the counter and found a comfy seat. Ordered a double espresso and V60 pour over. Both delivered spectacular flavors and aromatics. Yogurt parfait and chocolate croissant also delicious. Would definitely come back again to try all the other options

One of my favourite coffee places in Lisbon. The quality of the coffee is just stunning, you can taste the love and passion for a good coffee in every cup, and it doesn't matter if is's espresso, or filter. Also the staff is always super nice and radiate with a good energy!

This coffee shop is really good! Had a cappuccino with oat milk and it was heavenly. Also a tosta mista and yoghurt with fruits that was really well served. Also the place is really beautiful nice ambiance. Really recommend.

Had a hand brewed pour over and it was perfect. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions. Loved the coastal tunes. This place could easily be your local daily coffee fix.

Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of the neighborhood. Serving specialty coffees and some regular favorites, along with a small but appetizing selection of pastries and sandwiches. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich. Not sure what magic was used in the breadmaking, but even this basic sandwich came out tasting so good!

I have stayed roughly a month in Lisboa and enjoyed it here a lot! Coffee, food and atmosphere is really good. Been working on the upper level a lot (often a whole day), Wi-Fi super stable, working table really comfy. One of the best!

Wonderful coffee and service, we made a detour and went back 3 times during our stay in the city. We had a couple of cakes which were great and we loved the addition of the cards to say what we were drinking.

THE place in Lisbon to go for some real specialty coffee. Absolutely amazing coffee and great service (barista even tuned the brew method to our taste). In a nice area too.

The coffee here is nothing short of a work of art. I will be back before I return to the states to buy some beans for my family. Great coffee, tasty snacks, and a relaxing vibe. What's not to love?

Love it! There are not so many coffee places in Lisbon where you feel like at home. Patrícia, the owner of the cafe, is the best host and she really knows how to make a very special coffee. Also the place is allows you to come with your pet, which is a big advantage for me.

👍 Nice spot, cool interior, busy at all hours and with a great menu. Juices and smoothies are good, food is hit or miss. Eggs and burger weren’t perfect, but we tried other dishes and they were fine. Reservation is definitely recommended.
