This is a classic local Lisbon cafe. The owner is so friendly and can speak to you in Portuguese, English or French. It's only small but is a great place to come for delicious drinks, pastries and sandwiches. Sit and watch local life and the frequent passing by of Tram 28.

Very nice place for a quick coffee or snack. The owner is fantastic, the coffee is good, the tea is good and the pastel de Nata is tasty. Definitely worth a detour!

Oh my god the Portuguese Capuccino is excellent, the texture, the taste, the flavor left on your tongue, a big surprise on my way up to Miradouro da Graça! The owner is super friendly as well, love it

Such an amazing start to the day. For sandwiches, pastel de natas and cappuccinos it was only about 5 euros per person. The owner was so welcoming and the food was both simple and perfect. It’s a small space but very calm. We left feeling full and happy :)

I think you should come here :D My family and I came here multiple times (sometimes twice in one day) because we loved it so much. The coffee and pastries are wonderful and reasonably priced. The most wonderful part of the cafe is its owner. He is very kind, attentive, and joyful. Although the coffee and pastries are great, he is the real reason you should visit!

Wonderful place for a quick breakfast and cafe. Joseph is an amazing and kind person and very friendly to chat with. He’s owned and ran this little coffee shop for over 18 years. I visit the coffee shop every day in my two weeks in Lisbon and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

The cutest cafe! Stumbled upon this looking for coffee and it was a great choice! The owner is so friendly and helpful. There is delicious coffee, pastries, pastel de natas, sandwiches, beer, etc. We loved the cappuccinos. There are a couple small tables inside and a take away window outside. Be sure to bring cash. Really recommend visiting here!

Egg tarts and rice cakes are super delicious and taste really moist and flavourful. It is a small and quaint shop and the owner served with a lot of enthusiasm, we just had to go for seconds.

I live next to it, and it really feels like home. The owner is super helpful and aimable, and the tosta mista with rustic bread ticks all the boxes!!!

We walked past this little cafe for 7 days without entering. Finally got there on or last morning and it did not disappoint. Food coffee and service was excellent. The owner is very friendly with excellent English. Highly recommend it for a good cheap Tradional Portuguese breakfast.

We found this charming little cafe by accident last October 2022. We enjoyed stopping for a quick pick-me-up on our way to explore the city. Great coffee, very friendly owner! We enjoyed our chats. Every stop there was a pleasant experience ! Hope to stop by on our next trip to Lisbon!

You must come here! The cafe owner was very kind and put love into everything he prepared. The espresso was very fresh and delicious as were the pastries and the tosta mistas. My only regret was not coming here every morning of my trip, but I will certainly be back! Muito obrigado por o amor com que você faz o seu trabalho, até a próxima!

Found this cafe by chance as I was wandering around after finishing a day of exploring and looking to try the famous Portuguese custard tart - what a pleasant surprise! The pasteis de nata was fantastic but the owner, Jose, made the experience even better! He was closing the cafe for the day but stopped to chat with me and answer all my questions about the rich history of Portugal ❤️ would definitely recommend!

I’ve passed by here a few times around lunch and it’s usually busy - always a good sign! Today, I finally stopped in. Owner was so friendly - offered to speak English or French. Went through all of the options (sandwiches, pastries, juice and coffee). I got a toasted ham & cheese with a cappuccino. Snagged the table at the front and enjoyed my food watching the tram roll by. Very fresh and enjoyed the jazz music! Definitely recommend for a quick bite.

👍👍 One of the oldest cafe in Lisbon, founded in 1905. You can choose from huge variety of sweets, bakery and pastry right at the showcase, and they all are fresh. Interior is amazing - feels like you got into antique library. Minimum bill would be around 15€

👍👍 We are Americans visiting and really enjoyed the pastries and coffee here. As a warning to other travelers, most the staff doesn't speak English and there us a ticket system to order. 👍 Nice spot, cool interior, busy at all hours and with a great menu. Juices and smoothies are good, food is hit or miss. Eggs and burger weren’t perfect, but we tried other dishes and they were fine. Reservation is definitely recommended.
