The second rooftop restaurant I went in Lisbon. When the sun goes down, the scenery is very amazing. it deserves you spend 30-40euros here. Even though I did not expect it. I like main course and snack. The food is not bad and good looking. It deserves the five stars🙃 Compared to another good rooftop restaurant, this one is even better but easier to get a seat… A very quiet and nice place. The whole night I am busy with taking photos😅The staff are very very friendly. ( Tips: But I should say, it is better to take photos around sunset rather than late night. I missed the best time but the pictures still up to my expectation! )Definitely will come next time!

Stayed at the hotel which I also highly recommend. The food, beverages, atmosphere (chill DJ Saturday nights) and especially the exceptional staff. Felipa and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to both the hotel and restaurant.

Cafe Principe is at the bottom of the Memmo Principe Hotel. Decided to have my first dinner at this restaurant and the experience was mixed. The decor is very elegant but the customer service was poor. Arrived at 9pm and only got served my first drink at 9.45pm. The cheese and tuna board alongside the desserts were the highlight of the dining experience. The croquettes were good especially the sauce. The duck wasn't as tender as I would like but the hoisin sauce is one for the record books. I had to order some more. The accompanying noodle bowl was nicely spiced. Lamb chops were just okay, they come out of the kitchen almost medium rare so beware. Cocktails were decent and the one with the spice in it grows on you after a few sips. For dessert, guava ice cream with coconut crumble was A1. Creme brulee was okay. If the service was better, the experience would have been more enjoyable

I made a reservation but when I arrived I was told to wait to be seated. After 15 minutes and realizing that they were several unoccupied seats and tables I asked the manager if I could be seated. I was told it was busy. When I told him I had a reservation his reply was “u do?” Then proceeded to check and finally sat me in one of the 5 empty tables in their outdoor area. After 20 minutes of waiting for a glass of water I finally asked to speak with someone because the service was unacceptable. Approximately 30 minutes of waiting I finally had my order taken. As I looked around however, other people came in and was seated right away and some even received food before I was even given water. I am very displeased with the service here. I told the manager that I just want to be served like everyone else. It was very obvious that for whatever reason I was being dismissed and overlooked. I would not be dining here again. This is my first trip to Lisbon and this is my worst experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Brought a friend from out of town here as the view is stunning and it's seems like a lovely place. Sure it's beautiful, but the service is pretty shocking. Waited 30 mins for 2 beers and then another 15 for the 3rd drink ordered which by then the beers where warm. Asked about where our drinks where twice which made no difference. In fact the waiters where not at all bothered! I will unfortunately never be returning, it's not worth the view.

Food was definitely good, but given how fancy the place is, I expected a bit better. Presentation was beautiful, but the tuna was a little dry, and there were a few very minor slip-ups with the service. Had a very nice evening, but probably wouldn't come back.

Another winner in Lisbon.....tucked in behind the bustling facade of Principe Real in the Memmo Hotel. We enjoyed the wonderful view over the city as we were treated to a great experience from every aspect. The staff here were simply amazing.....as was the food. Very highly recommended.

Elegant restaurant in a hotel overlooking the hills, not river. I went on a Monday, so it was quiet which I what I wanted. The host tells me Thurs-Sunday’s it’s very busy rezzos only & they have a live DJ. Nice, competent staff. Food was ok, a little disappointed in the quality & presentation - considering it’s a high end spot. I had the croquettes appetizer, not bad but nothing special. For main I had the steak with asparagus risotto. Steak was good, came swimming in a metal bowl of port sauce. The risotto was bad: cold, crunchy, sad. Dessert was the baked cheesecake, just ok. 4 stars for the waiter. He let me try 4 wines before I picked the one I liked and comped me a champagne for the bad risotto. Go for drinks & view, then go eat elsewhere.

the view is unbeatable! we stayed at the memmo hotel and had dinner here after we checked in - we were exhausted from traveling and this was the perfect meal! the pork dish was fantastic - crispy skin and the mixture of savory sauce w the sweet potato purée was so good. we also shared the chocolate dessert with ice cream and caramel popcorn which was great. one member of our party didn’t love their fish, so knocked it down a star. overall a solid choice in Lisboa.

It’s not the first time we’ve had dinner here. It is always excellent service and very tasty food. Very friendly and polite service. Any misunderstandings are accidental and are fixed as fast as possible

Grown up fresh dining. A really fab find, the food is delicious and well presented. The staff are genuinely happy and service is fast. DJ playing some chilled out vibes on a Saturday night was an added bonus. So happy we found this place - a great place for dinner!

This stunning restaurant is a hidden gem or Lisbon. Nestled away with a beautiful view that is only topped by the wonderful varied menu and wine list. A truly special place for any occasion of size of party.

We only had desserts but they were spectacular. Since it was before dinner time, the place was tranquil and the ambiance was magnificent and romantic.

Unfortunately not Well, the view of the balcony is very nice. Also the place is well designed, warm and cozy, but at the same time modern. Concerning the Dining Experience, the answer is UNFORTUNATELY NOT. And if you ask me why, these are the reasons: 1. Understaffed. I was serving my wife the wine and the water 2. Asked to have the 5 dishes coming one by one, but it didn't happen. They all arrived in 25 minutes. 3. We were asked if we want bread because they charge it 4. We were given drinks and wine list and after 10 minutes the food list But the worst point is the quality of the raw materials 5. The oysters we were served do not represent a low category Cafe. I remind you that we are Dining in a five star hotel restaurant. The oysters were almost empty - less than a teaspoon flesh - and they served them to us. In such a restaurant you DO NOT SERVE these oysters. You apologize to the customer and suggest something else. It was a skin of oyster and not flesh. 6. We are beef carpaccio lovers. The one we had last night was among the worst concerning the quality of the meat. You had to chew it like gum to swallow it. 7. The worst experience came at the end. We asked the waiter to suggest a dessert and he suggested my wife's favorite dessert, the well-known Pavlova which as we all know has a basic ingredient the crunchy meringues. The ones that were served to us were not crunchy, but they reminded us rocks. We couldn't cut them or break them after a lot of efforts. When the waiter passed from our table we told him that we won't finish the dessert and when he asked us the reasons we told him that the meringues are too hard. He said I am sorry, he took the plate and returned in 3-4 minutes with the menu telling us something funny and provocative at the same time. " The chef told me that the meringues are the way they should be. Also he can offer you this dessert " and he pointed to a dessert with his finger. In a five star hotel restaurant the chef decides for the customer? We told me " Thanks a lot, but we won't have a dessert as we have to leave ". He returned more provocative in two minutes leaving on the table the dessert the chef decided and he charged it on the bill. P.S I asked for bottled water and I was served water full of chlorine and I was charged for it Unfortunately it needs a lot of effort. The management and the F&B manager along with the kitchen must reorganize everything. It's was one of my worst Dining experiences

It is a great place to have a drink and enjoy panorama view of the city - however on this side you won’t catch glimpse of water. The staff is nice and attending. We were very pleased with the cocktails and starters, hoping that the experience will continue. Unfortunately the main dishes were disaster and when I say disaster, disaster it was.My pasta with mushrooms and truffles was sticky and drowned in double cream. Something you may serve to 7 years old and maybe he will forgive you. Beside of poorest quality of the dish the presentation was equally repellent.Dark pasta, dark plate , imagine the rest..My companion’s turbot was only slightly better. Not drowned in anything but served with some vegetables and chaired vegetables, not very inspiring and not very good in taste. It’s big disappointment since the setting is lovely and starters were very good indeed. Perhaps they have to take out the restaurant from the name, take out main dishes from the menu and stick to the Bar and finger food. Then it would be good place to visit. In the neighbourhood you have plenty of decent restaurants anyway !

Food was good, service was great and attentive. The place itself looks amazing, with a view over the city and a pool outside !

For a fun sexy and luxurious night! I love this place. There is a gorgeous view on the pool and the city. Inside, each table has intimacy and the entire room has low lights. There is a dj to complete the athmosphere but the music is very fitting for a cosy night although sometimes he can adapt to the crowd. Everything on the menu looks amazing but I recommend the duck and the tournedos (bifteck), the mozzarella du Buffala and you must take wine ! Their wine menu is so diverse that it alone can make you dizzy. The service is spotless. Again, be sure to book, the place is crazy successful and it’s well deserved

A Saturday evening, the sun is slowly going down and you look over the city of Lisbon and the big river Tejo. Surrounded by a crown of well dressed people you take a sip of your pisco sour. This is definitely one of the nicest terrace bars in Lisbon. Yes and the cafe Príncipe real is located in Lisbon’s best boutique hotel Memmo. After the drink the confident waiter brings to your table for dinner. The restaurant looks beautiful, Perfect lightning and cosy seats. We had the Asian oysters, tuna tartar and veggie tempura. It was delicious 😋. Already at this point I was a fan of the chef. After the main course even more. We had the veal cheeks and the cod. Both dishes superb. And the dessert was a like a poem. Thank you Memmo team. Prices are much cheaper than expected so it’s great value for money. The only downer was the service forgot to refill the wine glasses and was a bit overwhelmed. But besides that, I wish you an amazing evening at this place.

Would give this 6 stars if I could. Food was outstanding (triedboth the beef and duck), and a terrific view and vibe to go with it. Top notch service from Romario too - class gentleman.

Nice ambiance, great old fashioned. The tornedo beef was your standard filet and not the perfect round medallion you would expect. But the taste was great so no need to complain. Also, very nice views over the city.
