Holiday from hell. The single worst customer experience of my entire adult life. Do not stay here at all costs. Very dirty and unsafe and highly advise against. The property had not been cleaned since the beginning of the pandemic. We had just arrived in Lisbon after a long flight. We were looking forward to our accommodation due to the beautiful photos they advertised on booking.com. However, the nightmare began before we could even walk in the front door.  To our dismay, we couldn't even gain access to the property. We had pre-booked in advance but due to a technical issue of the property, their payment portal was not working. After trying to explain to the property customer support we were rudely told that the issue was due to our credit cards.  After waiting for over an hour outside the property with all our luggage on a filthy street. Guess why it was so unpleasant? Well, there was human feces outside the front door to the property, we finally managed to get in. To our shock, the worst had still to come. Walking from the front door to our apartment our hearts dropped. The pictures that were advertised on the website resembled nothing like that we had come across. Firstly the garden was so overgrown, the grass was nearly a meter high, and all the common passages smelt musty damp and stale. Now we were in the property the next challenge of actually getting into our apartment was about to begin.  After many more calls to the rude support staff and waiting for a resolution we were finally able to gain entry through the key code provided. There was dust all through the room, the surfaces were unclean and cobwebs were in the bathroom. When was the last time guests were even here? To our dismay, the bedding for the 3rd guest was nowhere to be seen. They had forgotten to supply the bedding that was paid for. We thought it's a hot Lisbon summer's day let's cool off in the pool whilst we wait for the additional bedding to arrive. Absolutely shocked and disturbed. The pool was green with slime! This couldn't be true is the pool really GREEN  with slime and covered with bugs. This was the final straw. I called booking.com immediately and explained the situation whilst sharing photos of the green pool, overgrown garden, and disgusting circumstances we found ourselves in.  We couldn't stay here any longer the hotel had ruined our holiday. The first holiday that we've been able to afford since lockdown began over 4 hard months ago. Please get me out of here. After hours and hours of time wasted on the holiday trying to get ahold of the property and the booking.com service people, we were unable to get an answer. Both booking.com and Hello Lisbon apartments ignored our pleas to leave, be refunded and seek refuge in a clean and safe hotel. Now over a month later and HOURS wasted spent trying to resolve this holiday from h***. The false advertising fraudulent owners of Hello Lisbon apartments are refusing to give us a refund. The only communication that we've head through this whole ordeal after weeks and weeks of waiting was the one communication they sent after we'd been at the property begging to be released. They ignore the fact the pool was GREEN and tried to offer us some of the other shitty accommodation. A couple of hours into the hotel of horrors they were trying to force us to pack up our luggage and move to the other side of Lisbon. What is wrong with these people? Well that's it this is the final straw. Please whatever you do look at the photos attached and never ever stay here. Oh the breakfast that we paid for and it was supposed to be included, don't worry that doesn't exist either.

Lisbon is a beautiful destination to visit. Unfortunately the city center became way too successful, very expensive with way too much tourists. I will recommend a night stay then go visit all the surrounding and get closer to local.

Awesome place to stay in Lisbon. Would recommend this to everyone. Friendly staff. Nearby public transport, food shops. I didn't know it would include a daily maid that would clean and make up the bed(s). Would definitely come back if I ever go to Lisbon again.

Great location at Barrio Alto, restaurants, cafés, juice bars within 5 min walk. The building has elevator inside, and there's a ommon room and garden space at the back. We are placed at the fourth floor, and have a nice view of the distant water. The self checkin is relatively easy, and reception is reachable by phone. The one thing is they didn't clean the apartments well, definitely did not vaccum, and there were dishes in the dish washer that we didn't know if it's clean or not. The shower head host was also leaking, we called to have it fixed, but that didn't happen. Also, visitors need to remember they don't clean your room during stay, so keep that in mind, especially germophos.

love love love this location and wonderfully minimalist place. such a great place to explore Lisbon from. however gotta ding it 1 star for the very dark lighting in the bathroom and the terrible WiFi

The A apartments (Can't talk to B and C) are updated although they do need some maintenance and painting. Nice layout in a great area of Lisbon. They have luggage lockers, so if you get there before 3PM you can store you luggage and go visit the city. Get pool towels when you check in, we did not get them until the last day. The breakfast is ok, rolls a few mini croissants milk and OJ. Coffee packets, jam butter and sugar. Wifi is spotty at best but it is included.

Adorable apartment, where antiquity and modern coexist. Its location is fantastic, just in the middle of old Lisbon. Not many stairs and you would be at their lobby. From there to you rooms, use lift. Amazing staff, kindness and respectful service.

The location and the apartment itself were really nice, but I'm disgusted by the customer service you get. We booked a room with a balcony and the door to the balcony couldn't be opened. We had mold in the bathroom, the bathroom wasn't really clean and we found various hairs in the bed. When we brought this to the attention of the company we were told that we might be able to move to another apartment. Well for one night it really didn't make sense since we had already unpacked everything. As an apology we have now received a refund of €20, which I don't think is professional. We were looking forward to a romantic weekend in Lisbon and then something like that.

Very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable apartment in Lisbon. You have all what you need for comfortable staying. There is a lot a small shops around and tram station (legendary 28E) is just around a corner. Price is very affordable. They have all my recommendations.

Make sure you call ahead to get what room you really want, booking can be misleading. Nice apartmemt, relatively clean, but did find little trash here and there. Staff are friendly and there 24 hrs. Could not see River from apt. Garden is nice touch along with free small bottle of wine. Floors though are thin and you can hear every step above you. Building on the street is being renovated so street noise early. Overall nice but not for the price you are paying.

TL/DR: You’re probably better off staying at an AirBNB. Spent one night here as we needed a place to crash for an early flight out. Property left a lot to be desired so fortunately only was here for a short stay. Check-in process was relatively smooth but some may be turned off by not having an attendant on-site. Apartment wasn’t completely cleaned. Bathroom trash wasn’t taken out after previous guest. Some hairs were noticed in the bathroom and on the towels. Mold was noticed by the shower as the shower isn’t fully enclosed and easily leaks out. Apparently this is an issue in previous reviews that still hasn’t been resolved. Provided Wi-Fi password never worked. Insufficient lighting - bedroom only has 2 small lamps and wall light switches don’t control them. Couldn’t figure out how to turn on AC in kitchen area. Remote only controlled bedroom AC unit. Have to carry your luggage up a half flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Definitely not handicap accessible. Elevator was so small it barely accommodated me, my wife, 2 carry-ons and 1 suitcase. Biggest issue: lock to main entrance was not locking properly and anyone could walk in by just pushing the door open without a code.

The apartment is perfect! Very nice and large. Downfall is 3 flights of stairs. They do offer an elevator but only after the first flight of stairs. Quite the process to bring our 7month old and stroller up!

Not maintained bungalow with dust on paintings. Black mold in the shower. Curtain at door which needs to replaced . Check in so unpersonal at a kiosk which took ages. We expected nice welcoming in person and to help us in giving more info about location and whereabouts. Pity as this was first time Lisabon ...
