Very disappointed. Thought this hostel would be more understanding with health issues. I had a flight planned this morning for lisbon and due to an emergency surgery I had to cancel both the room and the plane. I have been denied any type of refund or reduction on the price of the room. Result: I end up paying 90 euros for 6 nights that I will never spend there. Very sad about today and disappointed with the decision of the hostal. I know it was no refundable but this was something I didn't plan and I feel like you stole my money. I will not book here again unless they give me another solution

I would have given this hostel 5 stars but the people staying there were awful. Not only was there literally hair everywhere in the bathrooms (the staff did an good job of cleaning this up not that stayed that way for long) but they were loud and in and out of the room till late at night (I finally would get up and turn the lights off at midnight) they would carry on quite loud much later. also my door didn't close properly and was constantly left open by the people staying in the room, so when people smoked outside the kitchen it came into the room. I actually thought someone was smoking in my room. The bed was comfortable, lockers a good size, and the pillow was good. If I filled a room with my friends it would have been a much better experience. I guess it's just not for the solo traveller who doesn't speak Portuguese. Had no trouble finding the place just keep an eye out for the address. It's easy enough. I forgot to mention the wifi will do your head in if you need to be connected. It works 50% of the time at 50% speed.

I never used it but I live in the building next to it. the POLICE is always there. They keep fighting. So noisy and very smelly all the time. STAY AWAY

Room was clean, but was charged as ridiculous price for a night stay. The walls are paper this and everything is so loud! The bathroom (one toilet one bath) must be shared with 30 other people. Would only go in case of emergency, It is not adequate for by any standard.

They are improving and developing the hostel so it's gonna be even better soon! Very good location, close to metro station, bus stops, very close to the Magic fountain. Very clean and the staff are very friendly and kind.

BETTER THAN THE REVIEWS PROS: Possibility of not paying the deposit - but not having the key (door/locker) either. I got back from the street after 0:40 and a lovely staff member opened the door for me without complaining. Really nice of him! Lockers have a great size! Price is the best of Lisbon! CONS: Not enough lockers in the dorms, cleanliness acceptable but definitely not great. Being the cheapest option in Lisbon, it naturally attracts lower education type of people. Woke up at 6 in the morning with an Indian guy doing a video call with his friends in the full dorm 🤬

Beds r gud but toilets condition bad and nothing complementary in kitchen

The hostel has it's flaws, however, for the money, it is more than great. I did have some problems with the noise that the guests were making, but, then again, that is not up to the hostel.
