The golf course is not too far away from the center of Estoril. I would classify it as a medium difficult course. We booked our flights via Palacio Estoril hotel and had an all-inclusive-golf package. The 18 holes are very well maintained! After the 9th hole you need to cross the street via bridge. A buggy is not really necessary but a trolley would be a good choice. Greenfee is about 100€, depending if it is on the weekend or not. You are able to rent golf bags over there. Considering the price the golf course might be a bit too expensive. They also have a driving range and a 9-hole course. For the 9-hole you do not need a license (although that course is not in an excellent shape but OK).

This course is extremely short. Many par 4s under 300 yards and the fairways need major improvement. Greens were in good condition but small and fast to make up for lack of length. The whole place could do with some tlc however, the setting is nice and staff were friendly.

Fairways need sun and time. 9 hole course now 8 holes and later a number of shorter par 3 and 4. 9 holes cheap but…

Visited last year and was disappointed in the condition of the course. Decided we would play the course again this year, however looks like the condition of the greens has deteriorated over the last 12 months. It's a real shame as the course has some nice holes and if it was in similar condition to other courses in the area we would play again. Also concerning that they have removed the par 3 towards the end of the front 9 and substituted a very short par 3 (110 yards) from the par 3 course. Sadly very unlikely to play again

Below par course living off past glory. Poor from Tee to Green, I can think of much better courses locally to spend my money. The only positive is the halfway house at 12 , serving lovely sandwiches and beers. Regards, The Glorious Golfers

A really nice course we visit again and again. Sadly pace of play is now so bad typically 4.5 hours or more we will think twice before visiting again. A Marshall is desperately needed.

It was February, the sun was out, there was no wind! The course was quite hilly in places, so an electric trolley or a buggy (for a treat) might be an idea in hot weather. Some interesting holes, a bit of water, quite a few trees, one very long uphill hole. So overall it is quite a challenge! Some areas were a little worn, but I think that will be sorted once it gets a bit warmer and the grass grows. Part of the course (8 holes) is across the main road, and downhill, so you have to go over a bridge, and then a buggy brings you back. Food in the clubhouse is very good, the waiters are good fun and friendly, and the gins are huge!!

I loved it. Very tree lined and in great condition. Greens are very tricky, fast, and always lots of break on every putt. If I had a criticism, it would be that this became a little frustrating and on occasion, a bit like "crazy golf." That said, I would love to play again.

Took a 3 mile walk in Cascais Portugal and landed at Estoril golf club. Just walked around the golf course; very nice greens.

Lovely old golf course dating back over 100 years . Tight in places and sadly out dated in places by todays technical equipment . But quaint in places as well . Worth playing for the history

Fantastic course. Not to be underestimated! Challenging but still good for high/mid - low handicappers. Lovely staff at club house and food is better than it appears on trustpilot etc!

Very good course, but there were too many players. So there was a lot of waiting in teeboxes, because fairways are narrow (provisional balls?) and greens are a bit difficult (front nine). Back nine was easier to play, but still groups were going slowly. Difficulties to get a buggy, because there were not so many buggies? I liked the course very much and would recommed it to anyone. I stayed at Palacio Estoril 5 ☆ hotel and there is a shuttle service (5 minutes).
